well i liked this game! seems i'm one of a few haha

the best thing about this game is definitely the art-- gorgeous coloring, fantastic character designs, and a sense of elegantly debauched sluttiness that i just can't get enough of. i could go on and on about the art, i genuinely think it's some of the best you could find in a small-budget doujin VN like this

the story is...varied, to say the least. the protagonist being different in every story caught me off guard and took some getting used to. some stories are sweet, some are just plain hot, and some of them unexpectedly somber-- the centaur woman's story in particular made me almost more sad than horny, but not in a bad way.

the game doesn't overstay its welcome, each story being pretty short which i personally have no issue with. it gets to the point and does what it sets out to do, and does it very well in my opinion

gameplay is typical visual novel, no real input aside from choosing which character's story you want to read

H-scene content is varied, and features a lot of pretty nice fetishes. nothing too niche or out there for the most part, the most outrageous scenes probably being the dog girl megumi, or the angel macael. there are a few yaoi and futa scenes as well, which i am absolutely for!

overall, this game won't give you much if you're looking for deep lore or interesting gameplay. but if the art and concepts appeal to you, i say give it a shot-- as previously stated it isn't very long, and once again the art is incredible. i very much enjoyed my time with MoMC and hope to see the artist and developers making more games!

Man the fucking art is gorgeous, its so detailed and its quite obvious that the artist has some years under his belt.
And thats all the praise i can give this game, because this feels like a photo album with some backstory. The story is a joke, each courtisans life story is summarised in less then 10 minutes, the story feels cramped and rushed. The fact that there is no voice acting or sexual noises also fuck me up a little, all you are doing is looking at a picture, some text and hearing some scuffed music.
If judging by the art only this is a solid 9/10, but if you judge this as a game its 4/10, because this barely qualifies as a game.

The Game
The game kinda sucks. The art is nice, but you basically only make the choice of which story to watch, not actually make any choices yourself
The core idea is that you pick a prostitute, and that choice actually ALSO chooses your character.

• Pick the horse girl, and you're some young man who really likes centaur racing
• Pick the butterfly girl, and she's your family's personal prostitute

Each of these setups requires a ton of incredibly dry dialog to set up the narrative all over again for the new protagonist AND new prostitute. And a lot of the stories are actually pretty deeply unsexy. Like the horse girl. She's a centaur who keeps getting her life artificially prolonged to keep having sex, but she can only do that one more time.

Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch, please. I did not download "Manor of the Mystic Courtesans" to hear about how some gal's going to die soon.

The Porn
The porn also kinda sucks because it's a crapshoot as to what you're going to actually get. I tried 4 scenes (angel, kitsune, horse, butterfly) and most of them (all except butterfly) had these bizarrely dark storylines that I found to be boner killers. If you wanted me to be ready for this, name the game "Manor of the Broken Whores" and just lean into it. I could get behind that! This is just bait'n'switch.

Also, you get no real indication of what'll be in that scene. Sure, the angel's pregnant. Got it. But did I expect her scene to be a 100 man gangbang porn movie? No, because you get no indication that's what you're gonna be seeing happen.

The Art
It's nice. It's not really animated at all. But the art is nice. If they attached an actual game to it, and the porn was somehow connected to any of the choices I made in the game, I'd rank it higher.

The art's decent, so this is a 2 / 5.

It's more of an unintuitive image gallery than anything else.
Isn't the appeal of the entire premise being able to go from girl to girl, seeing and partaking in the variety of each monster...persons.
In that respect, it's utterly bewildering that you are force exited back to the main menu after each scene.

What scenes there are aren't...bad, per se. Kinda comes off like Tekuho art over the shell of a Black Lilith VN.

Didn't much care for it.
