This visual novel's content stretches over 3-4 seasons of anime, with the introduction stretching for 4-5 hours (classic Ubisoft-style "overclocking"). The plot is predictable: standard romantic lines with four girls without unexpected twists in the setting of the development of a small business (confectionery), I would like to note that there are quite a lot of unnecessary moments in the game that could be safely cut out without losing anything. At the same time, the game would be 30 percent shorter. As it was, it felt like the screenwriter was deliberately writing filery scenes to artificially increase the timing of the novel.

As for the characters: the heroines are formulaic. And if you are no longer 12-14 years old, it is unlikely that you will feel their feelings. The choice system is illusory — only one key point affects the ending (who to go shopping with out of four options). But the funny thing is, after the finale, they add 2 more sub-stories for each heroine. The irony is that these "cut-out" plots turned out to be much hotter in content than in the main line. Most likely, these are cut scenes that don't quite fit into the vanilla-sugary tone of the sex scenes and the narrative. But if the developers wanted to keep that vanilla tone, then why add it to the sub story? It's like making a boring movie and then showing some really interesting cut-out moments.

The voice acting is in place (as befits Japanese VN), but the background music is too cloying and monotonous. After 10 hours, her monotony begins to annoy. There wasn't enough variety of ambient tracks, at least to change the atmosphere.
    Result
It was long, sweet, and stuffy. If you're not a fan of the genre, this novel is unlikely to get you hooked.
Personally, I only survived two branches and sub-stories to them — then it became a real pity for the time. Perhaps fans of moe style have something to do here, but for the rest, pass by.

I've been a fan of Marmalade since I played Study and Steady, so seeing more games like Primal Hearts, and Marshmallow localized, is such a bless to me, kudos to Shiravune.
What made me love Marmalade and especially this game is how they write the characters and MC, and honestly, out of their games, this game's MC is probably my favorite, he's gigachad and know how to handle things. Marmalade H-scene is also godlike, I love VN who have sex SFX and this game have it lol.
Also, they have a sprite viewer where you can literally edit the text, use different clothes, etc which is cool tbh
The only downside of this game is that there's no J.C. route :(
