This really should have been renpy instead of unity.
It is extremely lacking in basic features. can't click anything on keyboard to progress text, only mouse. many other such problems.

ok so, I played it again. (last one I tried was v0.1).
there is a plot now... although I barely understood it because the engrish is really really bad.

it feels rather forced too. because logically it makes very little sense.
it would have made more sense for her and some loyalist troops to rescue you from your brother instead of the current situation where you somehow elude him and his army and manage to single handed rescue her and escape his army.

personally i like better the previous start to the game. a nice war under a queen that gives you the city instead of to your rival. however ill play it through and will keep an open mind to the total quality of the game before judging.
soo i am 2 weeks in game time in and have not gotten any of the 100 coins (weekly income) is this coming later in game ?

I didn’t re-implement the weekly gold income system when I restructured the game’s code. I’ll probably add it back later, but for now there is no useful purpose the gold could serve for the player. I’ll probably add a shop where you can buy accessories for the girls
My goal is to finish the story, make the game more stable and enjoyable to play, but I won’t be doing everything I initially planned, like a real kingdom managment with an economic system
After Marvelous Maid, I’d like to make another maid-themed game, on a smaller scale but with more interactions that work together

I think you’re right, the game is missing several key visual novel features, like a skip button or keyboard navigation (at least with spacebar)
I’ve been working on improving this aspect for the upcoming update, though it won’t reach the fluidity of Renpy, especially since my save/load system is a lot more basic than Renpy's one.
I did not realize the intro could feel forced/violent, I will try to rethink it

I meant that the plot is being twisted into illogical shapes to make an event to occur that does not fit logically into the plot.
This event happens to be a "forced" (rape) event (you don't see it directly, you are told about it).
Basically, it is a "forced forced scene", where the first "forced" is referring to the plot being twisted, and the 2nd "forced" referring to the rape.
If people don't care about the story at all and just wanted to watch a random scene, they would be looking at a video porn site.
A more in depth media like a book or a game relies heavily on drawing the reader in and making them actually care about the characters.
If they don't care about your characters, they are not going to spend their time with your product. Because it requires all this time investment before you reach the fucking scene, unlike a simple movie where you just jump right into it.
Thus, they will care that a character got raped, even if the rape happened off screen.

and wanted to make my own i know its not supposed to be here but also my best shot at finding what i search. ill delete when i found it. basically its a game simaler idea to this game but the mc is magic and steals the castle from a princess. also a demon mother or something is pushed in there. i can just remember small things and its driving me insane. if anyone knows the name please tell me

I honestly would have liked to have seen the scene one way or another, myself. Reading about it, and then suddenly seeing her she didn't seem raped, nor did the character or the mc act like she was when he found her. Just untied her and she washed herself off, which could be anything as there wasn't even any cum left over on her. Just the implication of her being raped doesn't do much. It would've had more of an impact (and been pretty arousing for wackos like me) if he detailed how it happened and then flashbacks would play during his explanation of how he violated her. Then his reaction after finding her, and her being distant or some after-effect when she was found and while cleaning. Just some a little input about how that scene could've been a bit more impactful, even without much introduction to her character. It just seems like nothing after finding her, her cleaning herself and then sleeping with him as if she wasn't just raped recently.
