I'm Avoure and hopefully this isn't the last you'll hear of this project. While there are plenty of parody games on this site, I always found something missing. Mostly it's a simple lack of representation of certain franchises that I know for a fact have plenty of meat on the bone, and so I decided -
And what better place to start than the king of 2013/2014 SFM porn: Mass Effect.

I'll make it clear now that I'm not a coding expert. I'm much more interested in the art and writing of this project, therefore this will be more of a visual novel than an actual game. If you're strictly turned on by point-to-click minigames instead of sexually graphic scenarios of fictional characters, then maybe this isn't for you. Not that you can't have an all-in-one package, but the former just isn't something I'm really interested in or capable of at the moment.
TLDR: this project is pure story, and speaking of story...
SYNOPSIS:
Soon after her recruitment to the Normandy SR2, Samara quickly discovers the depraved nature of Hero of the Citadel and his crew.
I could go into more detail, but I'd like to keep the plot as ambiguous as I can for the game itself. The context of the tags should be enough to piece a few things together, however. Suffice to say, I don't intend this to be a very expansive visual novel that most people will end up fast forwarding through to get to the sex scenes, though that's probably not entirely avoidable at the end of the day, but there should be enough to keep people interested while not letting my first attempt at this sort of thing spiral out of control.
PREVIEW:
Here are some test renders I threw together, and yes, that's an OC Shepard. I don't think default M!shep is a good fit for this, he doesn't look as evil as he needs to be in this story. Although his design is one I'm considering altering (open to suggestions).
I'll definitely be releasing more art with the continuation of this thread.

OTHER:
While this remains to be seen, I think there'll be 3 to 4 game updates/chapters before this project is done. This thread, however, I'll try to update as I progress on development.
There'll be a game thread when there's a 'game' to make a thread on, and until then I'll hold off on making a Patreon for this.
Finally, I'll try to stay active in this thread and respond to as many people who comment as possible. If you've gotten this far, thanks for your attention and I hope you enjoy the game when it comes out!
