It comes from a tradeoff. You pump factions with swords, utilizing your workshop production points. Points spent here are points not spent directly earning money from selling weapons. You can earn 3 million now or you can pump swords to earn 3 million after a year. That sort of thing.I don't have even remotely close to these numbers. Can i ask for your save because i'm genuinely curious now how you pulled in those numbers.
Yeah and it's not obvious from the screenshot I posted how much you have to spend on workshop supplies to get those kinds of numbers out of the vikings, fort sera, or the bandits. I didn't keep track but I would estimate that getting the bandits to 100 standing took at least 6-10 mil worth of supplies for auto rifles. I probably spent a comparable amount on the vikings and fort sera as well. Hard to tell since it's not all at once. The game I posted the screen shot from is only about a year and a half in. Some people with 5+ year saves could put up numbers in the hundreds of thousands for passive income. One of the guys in discord posted a screenshot showing around 40k income from just the vikings alone. It comes from a tradeoff. It's a pretty nice investment when you hit your market caps on items. For example, I hit market cap on rifles and auto rifles. I could keep producing them and sell them for reduced price or I could instead craft swords to raise Fort Sera's income.
You're playing the same game I am so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Thanks for the save, i did my little comparison and checked what i wanted. I get it now how those numbers can be boosted.
I'll be blunt here. I don't view that as an achievement. That isn't something anyone should be proud of and if this is a source of pride for someone.. i pity that person. This is a genuinely concerning mental hygiene issue. Someone has so little to do and show for in his life that he pursued cash numbers in MoR and then posted it to show off?
Disturbing, sad and pathetic.
I don't have a life anymore but even i have better achievments to be proud of than to brag about ingame incomes in MoR seeking appreciation. What depths of desperation for human attention that requires..
But enough of this. It's rather off-topic.
I'm not complaining. You're playing the same game I am so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

You really pull no punches. I mean no offense man, but maybe this is the reason why you have no life.Disturbing, sad and pathetic.
Good. I wasn't pulling punches at all so i'm glad this was obvious. You really pull no punches. I mean no offense man, but maybe this is the reason why you have no life.
Well, in that case here's to hoping one day it remains the only reason for your issues. If for no reason than for giving us the phrase mental hygiene.Good. I wasn't pulling punches at all so i'm glad this was obvious.
Maybe this is the reason? HAH! I wish. You had me chuckle here.![]()
Catchy isn't itIf for no reason than for giving us the phrase mental hygiene
Thanks. I appreciate the sentimentWell, in that case here's to hoping one day it does become the one reason for your issues.
I didn't know that but it makes sense as it has just that right old timey scientific feeling that sounds both official and mildly inappropriate at the same time. It's definitively going to be something I use in internet debates from now on.Catchy isn't itIt's how mental health is referred to sometimes in psychology and it stuck!

Exploiting a feature is not necessarily 'legal'*whistles innocently, trying to hide the fact that I am staying in an older version of the game to grind 600 Manipulate and 600 Kissing legally*
Yeah, that is the primary problem with Secretive. I have not encountered that problem since I have not started a new account but a lot of new accounts run into that particular problem. There are workarounds but it is not intuitive.BTW, sometimes the "secretive" trait can be a real pain in the ass. In my current run, both Trulls and Cassius are secretive. You can not extract any secret from this two beasts, at least not without red hot irons (and the game don´t allow it) and this have screwed my usual combat line up royally. I would have to wait till have access to Palace and buy a couple of whipping pills,
Till them, they are working at the workshops. Well, that will give the good old Doyle a second wind...
Well, Aria's entire questline probably takes bare minimum 500 days of getting ready without cheats or exploits so it's a given I will be playing past day 300. I also just like getting my household to certain stat thresholds. No need to rush it though. It took me almost a year of real life time to even get to day 1000+. Some days you just skip days at a time in-game.When I see people talking about a game with 4-5 years of playing, I lose my mind.
I can´t understand it. For me the game lost interest in the day 230-270, when I have played all the events and quests (and some more just for being sure). But hey, to each one his own...
It's just a matter of play style. I'm the type to play for 6 months to a year of game time and decide I could have made better progress if I did XYZ instead of whatever I did in the current game so I start over. Or Grim adds new starting options I want to try or something. I don't think I've ever had a game reach 2 years so far so I've only managed to complete the rebellion once so far. It's really not possible to do it quickly without cheating. When I see people talking about a game with 4-5 years of playing, I lose my mind.
