What's an NPCs happiness tied to, what's the point of it? Low or high it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

escape risk, fail chance and sex... at least that's what I've come across so far, but i think it also affects learning skills. I haven't really checked the code for it since npc.happiness is used a lot. Ah right so if you wanted to re add lovi to you house after selling her set ownlov to 1 and npc.av1.state to 1 that should add her back to your house without needing to re buy her but I don't use the console that much so I'm not 100% sure about it.

If the Academy doesnt pay out through donations, is there another way to get it to pay out? There is a section on the business tab under factions specifically devoted to the Academy or is it just not implemented yet?

What the academy is good for is placing "Academic - girls" there, working as professor.

If maxed out all responsible characteristics / attributes / skills each "Academic - girl" will earn you 190 $ per day.

Unfortunately you can only assign 8 girls to the academy.

So you will get 1520 $ / day max from academy.

It is daylight-work, so you can still assign them to prostitution in the evening too.

As far as i know the academy-assignment is the best payed daylight-work in the game.

Unfortunately, it is questionable whether it is worth training the girls for so long until they can earn $190, because if you employ them as Goldwalkers for daily work, they need virtually no training and still earn good money. But if you are a long-term-thinker and wanna max things then academic-girls are best.

I somewhat regret that you can assign only 8 girls to the academy as professor, it would have been the best job-choice for a non-corrupted pure playstyle.

I particularly regret the limitation to only 8 because virtually no effort is required for the prostitution route, letting them work as goldwalkers during daylight hours and as prostitutes in the evening at the same time.

Happiness adds 10 for both positive and negative aspects so a low happiness adds -10 while a high happiness adds +10. haha sorry, low happiness adds +10 to escape risk and fail chance and -10 to success chance and suggestion, while high happy adds -10 to escape, fail and adds +10 to success and suggestions. then it also affects defiance, and some other stats but ya. its kind of like if your not happy you don't want to do things for the person making you unhappy, but your more inclined to do things for/to the person making you happy. yes, yes, and yes haha they tie into each other, you could probably look into the html file and get a better idea of how everything works but it would take a bit of time and give spoilers for things.

Look at your daily income only, not the business-tab. When you assign a maxed out academic girl as professor with all benefits it should rise $190.

If you unassign her again your daily income should sink $190.

At least it is so for me, i picked expert-scholar if that is the key.

It is the Stryker V3 Implant. You can buy it from the med bay on the mastersphere for a whopping eight million. It adds 20 points of damage to power strikes but each strike deals three damage to the MC

There's the Academic Retainer if you start as an Expert Scholar, though the income comes from "Retainers" and not the Academy, someone would've started nitpicking about it.

Also there's an Academy related day-end event once you complete Caitlin's quest.

Right here is a bit of code you can and to the html file via note pad++ or whatever, it adds a random to your house without buying or capture.
Make changes as wished, this adds a random daughter.

I think I'll try to break Connor this way, his pantry girl wife is pretty sweet. He is my best guard captain though, but Valkyria in my combat team trains hard and she is hungry for power to replace him at the top. I also work on his corruption so maybe I can make him a slave first. Missing like 10 on the roll to have some positive but very low chance, so hopefully corruption will do the trick.

It now works differently as of 8.4.6. That said, I'm not completely sure it is working once the charges that were applied before the changes run out (those do still work).
