RPGM - May's Summer Vacation [v0.05.2b] [Otchakun]

Sunny and cheerful game with lots of funny situations, and spectacular artwork in the Japanse Shōjo style. It is a sandbox game in a holiday village, which the main character is exploring. You never know what's going to happen next, but it is always a pleasant surprise!

This is one I've had on my backlog for a while and I've been meaning to get to. This perfectly fit the kind of game I was wanting to play at the time; gameplay lite, story lite, with a lighthearted vibe and easy to get to lewdity. The art style is fairly simple, but cute. I can see some people maybe not being very titilated by it, but I think it perfectly fits the cute, lighthearted vibe of the game. Plus, I always appreciate unique art styles over AI slop or the stock standard Koikatsu/Honey Select stuff half the other games on this site have. So that already earns this game more points with me.
This is a "scene viewer" kind of game that's good for when you don't wanna slog through RPG battles or jump through fetch quest hoops or whatever else to get to the good stuff; just walk around town and talk to people/interact with glowing points to collect lewd scenes.

I'll get one thing out of the way quickly; this game currently DOES NOT have sex scenes*(at least that I could find). This game focuses on May's slow degeneration into an exhibitionist and the lewd hijinks and mishaps that she gets into with the locals. There ARE some sex scenes, I would argue, but just probably not in the way the average player would consider it, hence the *. For instance, May can currently have lesbian sexual encounters with a few girls, and there a few scenes in Jun's quests where she can have tentacles or probes fuck her butt. She can also be molested by some people and stuff, but even the molesters explicitly state they're not rapists and don't fuck her. But as far as PIV sex? Not currently implented. And that's for the better, I think. As I said, the main focus in on May gradually transforming from innocent girl to sexual deviant, mostly through exhibitionism and masturbation. It's a nice niche the game is currently fulfilling, and while I am looking forward to things getting even spicier later, I do appreciate the slower build up this game provides and not just jumping to her getting gangbanged every other scene or whatever.

As for the lewd content in the game (so far), it mainly focuses on loli/shota, exhibitionism, ENF, masturbation, and a bit of watersports. Obviously the loli and exhibitionism stuff isn't really avoidable given the main fucking character and the point of the game, so if you're not into that, what the hell are you still doing here? Get out. But the other stuff is, for the most part, fairly avoidable. I mean, you might stumble into a few piss scenes here and there, such as some of the scenes with Betty. And you do lose out on some content if you decide to ignore the sissified shota Jun or the trap "waitress" BaoBao. But all that stuff CAN be avoided, which is nice. I went ahead and watched them all just so I could give a more proper review, even the stuff I wasn't into, but it's nice for players to be able to avoid stuff they'd rather not see.

If I had one big wish for this game, though, is that it would be nice to have some kind of "tag preview" system before starting a scene. For instance, I don't mind a little watersports, but I could see someone having an unwelcome surprise from an otherwise enjoyable scene to them, like eating out/giving the massage to Betty but having to see her piss. Or, inversely, missing out on content they otherwise might like because they EXPECT it to have something they don't like. For instance, normally, I would not have interacted with Jun to see his scenes cuz I'm not into guys, and most of his scenes do involve sexualizing him. But I watched his scenes anyways, both to give this a more proper review and in the hopes that one of the creatures he was hunting might be a cute monstergirl or something. Anyways, I DID actually end up enjoying the scene with him at night on the beach where he and May summon a tentacle monster because it ONLY focused on May depsite it being a "Jun scene". Thus, it'd be nice to have something like a dialogue box pop up before you start a scene, listing the tags involved in it. Then you decide whether you wanna interact with it, cancel and go back, or just skip it. To the game's credit, MOST scenes aren't like that; it's usually pretty obvious how things are gonna go before you start one. But, given those few examples, I do think it'd be nice to properly spell out what each scene will entail so people can both avoid stuff they don't wanna see AND not miss stuff they'd enjoy because they expect it to be something they wouldn't like.

Anyways, pretty good little game so far! The dev also seems pretty active here, which is always nice to see. If you're reading this, dev, thanks for your work! I may not be into EVERYTHING on display here, but I'm sure sissy lovers and trap lovers are glad to have some good reps in this game. Abby and Betty are best girls. Hope to see more soon!

It's a messed up game with unique art and several taboo fetishes surrounding a cute "innocent" girl, so in other words a perfect use of the genre. hopefully we get the full game and it doesn't get abandoned.

One of the few gems focused entirely on exhibitionism. Very good art with really cute girls. And it gets better with every update.

I hope it gets more content with May (the protagonist) getting seen by people. There already is some, but the more the merrier.

And probably her friend, Amber, getting more wardrobe malfunctions, probably in even more crowded places, like the arcade. Too involved into a game to fix her clothes, or something? Loved the scene with her forgetting to put her shirt back on at the store.

The scenes are far too short, lacking dialogue, and are far too tame for my taste. The art is really cute though. Other than that the story is fine I guess, it's just a girl that likes being exposed, very basic.

Extrememly well implemented, the game is very fun to play and very exciting with a wide variety of characters and a really good writing, hoping the dev keeps working on it, and hope it shapes up very well to be a fully fledged game, even for something as simple as a v0.05 it is extremely impressive and deserves a 5/5

A really cute and innocent lewd game! The game is a little bit more like a visual novel than a RPG in terms of gameplay, with you going from event to event, talking to different NPCs to trigger them. As of 0.05.0, the game doesn't have a lot of content, and it could all be seen within a couple hours, but still worth checking out if you want more cute and funny themes in your lewd games.

This game stands out from other RPG maker games. I like that it doesn't have too much dialogue/busy work. There's different outfits for the game and unique dialogue for them too. I'm looking forward to following the game's development.

Sorry, but after the last warning I fear that this review too is my own opinion of the game...and so I must delete what was written. I am sure the good moderators understand this....or maybe not? Who knows one says so the other .....

Really awesome graphics, plot, and writing. Totally believable fmc as well. Feels a little empty after an hour of playing, but obvs that's just cause it's early on. Shows lots of promise, tho! Looking forward to more!

A masterpiece in the making. Enjoying that characters run the spectrum in terms of reactions to various situations and fetishes and that it isn't yet another story where the MC awakens to sex / lewdity and almost immediately becomes the king or queen of sex.

Very excited to see future content.

there's a lot of teasing and touching but no one fucks yet. still holding out, this is gonna be a good one

When I saw this game was on an early alpha I decided to wait until it had a little more content and that day has come...

It starts on a very simple way but the game can hook you very easily with a very charming main character and a cast that just feels right, from an albino nerdy shota to a very good looking trap to a tomboy, to a perverted cousin, a werewolf and even green people (are they GOBLINS!?). The moments spent with the characters are fun, sometimes weird (on a funny way) but it just nails it.

At the moment the game has yet to implement sex scenes but there are many spicy moments that make the game worth your time and it doesn't have censorship (western dev) so you can see everything on HD

It seems that the game will implement a clothing system on a future (so far you can buy a bikini and a swimsuit and try it inside the clothing store). And also it has a proper "diary" system in which you can check the main character lewd stats).

I'm looking forward to the next update and see what the developer has in store for us.

It's alright. The artstyle could use some more details, but the girls are nice-looking. I find some ideas like Jun's content to be pretty funny, but overall, the adult content is severely lacking. I get it's a very early demo of what's to be done, but so far, completing the game is very quick and the reward for doing so isn't very arousing; just some very basic masturbation and groping scenes for the most part.

It's not terrible at all, but I still wonder if what's next would be worth pledging money, if the adult content is going to be as tame as what's already there. I think for the next versions, the dev should focus on the meat of what he wants to implement in order for us to be fixed on what he intends for his game. As it is, it's alright, but nothing you haven't seen anywhere else.

Really cute art! No issues here, all seems solid, literally just needs more content, but the frame is there, the premise looks nice and the characters are great. Good job and I hope it progresses nicely without hiccups.

Unless something goes wrong, the 5* are deserved for the framework and the execution so far.

In fact this is only the bare bones of a game (not surprising, since it is 0.01.1) with just 20 minutes content (if you play slow).
Yes it looks promising but that's it.
For a real review I want to play at last something more (and that means that this review is only a placeholder till mmmh 0.5 at last).
Good luck with this game...and may we see the end of it and it's not canceled or banned).

The game is still in a very early stage of development, but I liked the plot and the characters a lot, I really love exhibitionist/corruption games, I hope it gets a clothes system in the future and I really hope it gets finished!

Great art. The characters are my kind of style. I appreciate the indication of a girl who's innocent in a town that seems (so far) ambivalent to exhibitionism. I'm excited to see where it goes. The game is extremely bare right now, and could use an indicator of when there are no more events to find. Hopefully it doesn't take long to add more content.
