Plot of the story is that the Mc's parents die at some point before the story, the MC also has a girlfriend who seemingly commits suicide (I think, but later you find out the truth) before the beginning of the story. You live with the family of your father's close friend, he runs your father's company and wants to buy you out of it because if you take over he thinks you will destroy it. Eventually you decide to sell (or at least that is the choice I made) and things start showing up that point to that friend of your father doing illegal things with the company and maybe even having a hand in your parent's death.
