Identify MC very similar to Extra Life' MC

Hey guys, I'm looking for a game where the MC is very similar to the MC in Extra Life.

If I remember correctly, the MC is a good guy, but something happens and a "bad side" took his place sometimes, or speaks with his mind, and is shown with red horns.

Any help is very appreciated, I'd like to know what happened to this game.
