The Dev actively made this game worse so they can better monetise it.

• Many NSFW scenes are removed (Due to them not align with Patreon's Rules)
• All NSFW scenes are full-screen blurred, unless you enter the Paid Patreon code
• The "enter code" window always pop-up whenever you return to main menu / select a chapter, even during the same play session.
  • AKA: even people paid for the code, their experience is worsen since you need to enter the code consistently.
• Almost no new contents were added
• The mini games are still boring, but at least it's easier to skip now
• The graphic is still the same as the old version

It's always sad when the dev prioritise "profit" over "game quality".

I like the story and the characters are interesting rather than copies of already existing games. Great Job Dev please keep the updates coming! I am looking forward to chapter 3 of the story. I am also going to follow as a patron, because why not!

Well, this is approximately the same.

While the game is better than that at dress codes (miniskirts at some points nonwithstanding), it fails utterly in anything resembling medieval thinking and talking.

That wouldn't be that bad, if there wasn't a LOT of talking. As it is, there's areound 80% talk and 20% sex scenes. Short ones at that.


- Visuals are decent.

- Walls of text that made me switch on skipping after first 5 mins. Language is also utterly modern, with abbreviations and other things 21th century. You don't have to make it hard to understand (by eg. changing "you" to "thou"), but switching "plz" to something else would help.

- As others said, choices which don't matter almost at all, except at some unexpected places.

- On top of that, the UI for text obscures lots of screen, even throughout the sex. It is annoying in the usual RenPY. Here it is double annoying, and, of course, you can't make it transparent.

- Sex scenes are strange. Technically they are OKayish. But due to the absence of gripping story, they feel bland and generic.

- One more VN with the MC dick to the knees. Poor guy.

Go watch Tinto Brass' "Caligula", if you want some idea of what porn in historical setting should look like (not that Caligula is without fail, but it delivers).

For the rest I’m curious to know how it will go on both being left, both for going to the mother.

This game has a serious identity crisis. In the beginning, the MC is in a relationship with a woman but she quickly gets shoved aside and never mentioned again as the game becomes almost entirely gay-focused (which - being a huge 'mo myself - I am not opposed to).

This is emblematic of the game's larger issues, though. There is no rhyme or reason to anything and nothing you do actually seems to matter. You are later forced into a romantic relationship with some other dude and even if you avoid him at every turn, the MC is somehow madly in love... not that that stops him from fucking everything that moves.

There's also a world map that has like 12 marked locations, but you only ever get to select 3 or 4 of them and eventually it's shoved aside much like the MC's girlfriend.

Now with Act II being released, the developer has bafflingly decided to split it into two completely separate stories that you select at the very beginning. Given the dev's difficulty with creating a single coherent story so far, I'm not terribly optimistic for the future of this game.

Even then, I could forgive a lot of these faults if the sexy bits were good, but they're sadly lacking too. Each sex scene has a lot of renders, but every scene plays out essentially the same. There's rarely any dialogue or description during the scenes except oohs and aahs and the renders just rotate from one uncomfortable porn position to the next.

I could go on and on, but we'd be here all day if I did.

This game could be great if they overhauled the story and dialogue, but I don't see that happening any time soon. For now it's mildly amusing, but not really worth the ginormous download.

So I've been tailing this game since it was just 2 to 3 chapters long. At the time I was afraid that it would end up like a lot of the other games and get flush down the abandoned toilet, I'm glad it's still alive and thriving after all this time. Now unto the game itself, when i first started playing the game, it gave me a lot of Bisexual which is right up my alley, however i would have to really blind or incredibly biased if i calm not to notice how it taken quite a dip into the gay side of sexual spectrum. Right now, the game has 10 chapters which offer a total number 47 sex cg scenes, 5 out of that 47 are straight,3 of which involve Bennet, the protagonist. Out of the remaining 42 scenes are 2 solo scenes with Bennet which leaves 40 gay scenes. Although the accurate number of gay scenes would be 33, as 14 out of the 40 gay scenes I mentioned earlier are in fact just 7 scenes that allow you to choose who tops or bottoms and thanks to that, each choice is considered as its own sex scene in the game gallery and doubles those 7 scenes into 14. Now I'm not complaining at all, as a man who identifies as Bisexual, I can swing either way, so i enjoyed playing it and I'm looking forward to future updates, although the creator serious needs to work on the sentences and grammar cause they are REALLY REALLY BAD, seriously the creator can message me, i am willing to edit the words for free. Grammatical errors aside, i think it's a great game...........if you're looking for gay content. If you are looking for more tits, ass and pussy then I'm sorry but you have a very short gameplay and will on find 3 varieties of tits, ass and pussy. I for one am okay with the....many...many dicks it offers. The story is exactly Harry Potter tier stuff though. All in all, It's a Ok game and i will keep playing it.

This game has a lot of problems:

1. The story is pretty weak with very few meaningful choices to make

2. It's not a sandbox game either as the game constantly forces you to push forward

3. The choices you make aren't always intuitive and you have no control after you've made them

4. You cannot avoid certain scenes or characters despite being a trivial thing to implement in the game and wouldn't subtract from the already weak story

5. The images aren't very well made either but the models are interesting and varied (if only you had the options to choose between them...)

So far, so good. I rate this title highly, as its almost unique in the field. The models aren't as good as might be expected, the story is so-so, but overall if you're like me and starved for anything gay in the VN world, well then this is the the VN for you

the Gay Tag review

Do not get fooled by the couple of straight scenes at the beginning of the story, which are optional (the character is after all supposed to start as a very straight person, even though it doesn't last long): the game is almost exclusively gay.

I'm really sad to give no more than 3 stars to this game, because it has really a lot of attractive features, starting with the very good graphics. Probably, if I had based my judgement on just the first 4-5 chapters, I would have given a higher score, because the premises were pretty good and the story promising. However, with the progress of the updates the inconsistencies of the stories are accumulating, like the dev is not able to deal with the ramifications proposed at the beginning. In addition, the story has become much more linear (there are basically no real choices in the later chapters), more nonsensical and with rather random sex scenes, which seem to have become the main focus, neglecting all the rest. This game would benefit from some cleaning and restructuring (and an English check).

This game is a work of art: Art is supposed to incite emotions, and Medieval Times made me irrationally angry!

Yes, I know it's just smut, and the smutty parts are solid, but I made the mistake of trying to follow the dialogue. Guess that's on me, but it is a part of the game that's hard to ignore.

I can excuse the... wonky translation, I can excuse that our MC has the personality of a sack of bricks, I can excuse that the plotlines are terribly incoherent at some places and I can even tolerate the crappy music during that one mini-game that pops up now and then. I'm not snobby about porn.

What really does my head in is the unavoidable pseudo-romance that was shoehorned in there. Jeff is boring, an ugly neckbeard, and he says the same things over and over and over and over again. And even if we, the player, do everything to avoid him as much as possible, and even after getting pounded by like three guys before that one in two nights (who would all be better matches for him, including the raping jailer), our protagonist still wants to sell us on being madly in love with the guy he got close to like one day ago!

You can either make a romance game, or a harem game where you smash everyone in your way, but not some twisted chimaera where you forcefully try to press both concepts into one, especially if you don't give the player the choice of whom you want your MC to have the pretend-monogamous relationship with.

2/5; can recommend to skip through the dialogue and unlock the juicy gallery.

Issa good game, what more can I say?
Character sprites are hot.
The dialogue is a bit wonky at time but the hot sex scenes more than make up for it.
Enjoy that the MC can top or bottom.
Only qualm is that the body types and people tend to look the same-white, lanky, athletic and there's only a few other body varieties.

The developer is off to a good start with the current version. Much of the content (m/f or m/m) is selectable by the player, which increases player involvement and agency. It's not always a choice developers give to those who try their game out, often scenes are designed with certain models in mind for simplicity or developer interests and that's that. While there is a scene where the player is forced, it is part of the narrative and again, the developer's decision. For those who genuinely cannot stomach such a scene, perhaps a suggestion for the developer may be to consider a way for the player to just skip past the visuals with a text description. That option did not exist at the time this review was written, but again it's their choice.

At the time this review was written the game was still relatively early in the first act of the narrative, thus, all the characters are still in the process of showing us who they are. What the developer has taken pains to do is create NPCs that are unique within the narrative and aren't necessarily simply throw-aways. It's clear the developer has a plan for each of these characters as the game progresses. It will be interesting to watch for further installments and see how things shape up.

im a patron of this and its very sexy MC. Its headed mostly in a gay direction so far and its trending toward some orc/ werewolf stuff i'm not super jazzed about but it's up to the creator.
i think the humans look great and its a very linear story so you can go through it at youur own pace, no dead ends really

Only good thing imo are the scenes, and the gay rape scene right at the end was definitely a boner-kill for me. It's definitely got promise, but it needs work. More character development for starters-- I have no clue why tf I should care about any of these characters. Are they involved in some sort of secret plot? Is this a slice of life that's supposed to be in a medieval setting? If so, why tf is there a big green WoW orc? Why is some noble girl fucking a peasant? As I said-- it has promise, but it just needs work.
