Overview:
Welcome to Menticide! This HTML game tries to incorporate three stories worth of characters: Hunter's Harem, Imperium/Imperium Fan, and The Company; while having a unique-ish story and having a small file size.

Menticide is an NSFW game that looks like our world. Along the way, you will see changes that make this world different from our own. Because this is an NSFW game, that means you have to be either 18/21 or older to play this game. (My country's laws to play NSFW games is 18, but if yours is 21, please respect the law.)

NOTE: This game is a proof of concept. For everyone who is complaining that the game is really short, this is on purpose. I intentionally made the game short, so I could get feedback on everyone's opinion; with writing, overall plot, etc. and not the length of the story.

I don't feel like reviewing this yet, mostly because there isn't anything to review. There isn't much to get excited for aside from the promise of some fetishes and potential content. There aren't any images or "action". Having a Patreon up already with this little to show isn't a great look either. I recommend that next update you add a lot of content. Like, have everything fully written. No placeholders. Also, based on the poll that you added, release that entire feature completed. If you keep up that pace then people will be more likely to take the plunge in supporting you. Promises of content later to come both out of game and in game are worthless; it's much better to wow us with what's already there. That means no areas that you can go to but do nothing in. Make each build be a complete package that actually represents your game. If you want to get to $100 a month, your monthly output should be stellar. Your writing is decent for the most part, though, and this could have potential. I just wanted to give you this advice since you're on the ground floor. If more people used this model for early access games, there wouldn't be as many abandoned projects.

This is just coming from a mostly-lurker who, like many others on this site, have been burned with games like these. You have an early chance to set yourself and your game apart. I hope you end up doing so!

P.S. your tags should be based on what is currently in the build, not what will be in later builds. That way nobody downloads the game looking for something that isn't there, and people don't get pissed off at you for misrepresenting your content.

Sorry for the edits; I thought of more important things to say. I hope you take the time to read them. Regardless, good luck on the game!

The writing isn't bad, but the intro is so dangerously short that I still don't really know what to expect from the project as a whole.
You took a risk posting it this early and I truly hope it doesn't backfire.

I hope more people check this out, give you feedback you can built on, and then continue creating something!
Good luck!

Good luck and all that, but is this a joke.... There is nothing to review or provide feedback on.

Plot/concept - no idea what it is - A young adult living with his family -siblings he likes, siblings he hates. Finds a job working in a lab. Where is the originality in that what's the differentiator in your game from the bajillon other games that start this way?

Game concept - How am I go to play the game what am I going to do. All we know far is that I can name my myself and my family, click on a link to leave to leave my house, click on a link to open a box - game over

You as Dev - There are less than 10 variables in the code and all they do is change people names and after being set they are never used. No idea if your any good at this or not. Fairly sure I could take your story text and recreate this from scratch in a few hours having never used twine before.

You as a Designer - This is using the default sugarcube/twine design elements. There is no clue here to how good you are at UX or general design. There aren't even any images to show us what sort of quality you are going for.

Patreon - This is more a bit of advice, looks like you are a new dev, to be successful you need interest. I have no problem with Devs that have ridiculous higher tiers, if people want to pay that then you might as well let them. BUT... having you lowest tier set to £4.50 is crazy. If you want interest you need to set that at the lowest amount possible. Name a HTML game that's been completed in <6 months after 6months I'd be down £30, No HTML game on the planet is worth that much. Yes some of patreon is about supporting the Dev, but as stated above we have no idea what your capable of, you need to earn peoples trust before they'll pay you anywhere near that amount. Not forgetting that developing a game in under 6 months is very unrealistic its more than likely going to take years so that £30 total cost will almost certainly be eclipsed by the actual final amount. That's even if you ever deliver something playable, the majority of HTML games don't get completed

As for your poll do all of it before you release anything else, you should be aiming to give the player a good feel of all the basic elements of the game. I'd expect at the very least 30 mins of playtime from a first release.

i dont know what is going on here...

but for RP html game i d like either 'lifesim' (more free-roam sandbox) or 'datesim' (more controlled narrative sandbox)
(dunno if people are into RP VNs/CYOAs. i generally avoid VNs.)

...and probably with less popular pornstars - for some immersion sake
(i understand that it must be 'easier' to use em...to the point of matching the rooms interior)

do u plan some genderbender m2tg2f ?... not for me if it is very chaotic. though im ok with insta m2f.

I gotta echo what a few others have said: setting up a Patreon this early in development isn't a good look. I get that essentially every other game has one, but those are further along, they've built their rapport. Far as anyone knows, this could halt development tomorrow and the money is essentially wasted.

as someone who has played the 3 games you mentioned (and really like those 3) i have high expectations for you. imperium/fan remake has a huge file size for the little that is there, but i really loved the game and the original its based on.
the company was also very fun for me, since it added the options to transform myself willingly instead of being forced into a path.
hunters harrem was just pure corruption fantasy.

what id like to see personally, is a story similar to imperium, built off of what you currently have. since in imperium one of the main plot points at the beginning is the fact that your parents hate you because you dont have a job. so getting a job in the company could work well, which in turn will allow you to introduce the transformation factor naturally as you become more skilled in your work. hunter and imperium both use magic for their corruption, its possible to still have this element feel natural in the story, i think the magical elements should just be used for mind based things, such as corruption, persuasion, and similar things. while the companies medical based "corruption" should be used for the physical items, such as transformation, or minor physical changes/enhancements.

it would also be cool to add plot points where the MC is struggling between his magical corruption and his chemical corruption, having to balance the two while keeping them a secret from certain people. while he uses both to go up in the world.

I am yet to download this, as I am in the process of doing so, but I would say you need to push the intro before anything else. It shouldn't even be a choice. Then you can work on the family stuff, as it's clear most of your fans would like that.

Poll: Really?? "Family Corruption"??
IF THAT Is what you WANT, Just Play Imperium!!
I Have played "Imperium" and I have played "the Company"
(Imperium Is Okay; maybe a little better than okay;
I Still Enjoy playing "The Company; waiting for More Updates.
I have Never played "Hunter's Harem"; I don't think that I will either.)
POINT IS; I am Curious just HOW the DEV Will 'Tie' all 3 games together,...
I Will hold off and wait for More Updates before trying to Play this game.
