Apparently you failed to notice the tag on every page that this game is abandoned. There has not been a single word from the developer about anything for nearly a year, so I doubt that he is going to provide any more information about the 'dark side' spinoff for you or anyone else.
"Apparently you failed to notice" - I didn't, someone else might reply who played the dark story, isn't that what people do in these threads all the time? Not saying I'm entitled to be satisfied with the answer I'm seeking, I simply asked, like others did. Also didn't fail to notice the dark story is probably unfinished, like the main one, but would still like to know what type of content there is, since a few users have cared to leave a note of praise about it. Why does a simple question trigger the aggressive response?
Apparently you missed, that in the OP there is a link to a post where the dev, at the time, has written what the "dark story" is. And to be just nice OP means Opening post and that is what the Counts arrow was pointing to.
I asked a question myself, having previously searched the thread, which I always do, to see if it had been answered before. Found that others asking the same question, which is NOT answered in the spoiler-tagged link in the OP, that Count's arrows pointed at, had gotten nothing but sarcasm in return. My mistake if I pointed that out, rather than just asking my question! The author's post linked in the OP says absolutely nothing about the dark story's plot, only that it was written as a means to overcome the author's writers' block.

I take the hit. My first post failed to be a simple question although I also described what exactly I was trying to learn about the dark story, but I guess my short description of what would make a "dark" story unplayable to me would also have rubbed some people off the wrong way. I didn't mean to "preemptively berate" the game, or a variant of the game, or the author, or anyone whose preferences differed from mine. Like many others, just wanted to know if the story was something I'd like to play. I was defensive towards getting a similar, unhelpful reply, as others got, can't say your crafty screenshot doesn't make that clear. I should have worded my post better as my intention was not to criticise, but to ask a question. The matter is that there is a variant posted in the OP, and a description of it that doesn't give you more than a hint at what the author's mood was when writing it, some people are cautiously curious and ask what it's about, all get pointed back to the OP and assumed as not having read the answer to their question. Would it be harder to post a helpful answer instead?

Thanks, I thought the tags all referred to the main game (probably do) and assumed they didn't include the dark story. If rape, sleep sex and extortion are perpetrated by the MC, it's not for me, though I'm still curious because of the good feedback (not saying the themes themselves can't make a well written story, just not that keen on reading it myself to appreciate it).
They are for both, same as the rating, reviews, etc. Some of us complained that their shouldn't be two games (as they are no simple chapter/episode of the same or similar) in one thread, cause it will only led to a mess.

If anyone knows for certain, they have not shared it here. Or on the Devs discord, unless something has changed.
Nothing official was reported, but other players who had been following him for a while said he had a history of both mental and health issues. I'm hoping he just got tired of doing this and quit, because I can't think of any good alternatives.
Just a guess, which version do you have played?
