Wait, does it actually say "Here's"in that scene???
I am supposed to find the book in Madeline's room, when the maid is cleaning her bathroom. But i cant find anything in the locations specified in the walkthrough. Anyone else had trouble finding the book?

Have you gone into Madeline's room at 21:00 first, when Rebecca is preparing Madeline's bath? That would be Madeline's first hint for the book. At this point, you should see it sitting on the Ottoman.
The second one is where you go into Madeline's room at 16:00 when Rebecca is cleaning Madeline's bathroom.

I take it it's been fixed, but if it makes us sleep better at night I can go check in the newest release. I still have to play it anyway.

Well, I just completed a brand new full run over several days while working on 2 different versions of the walkthrough. One for players and one for staff. And today, I spent about 9 hours doing the last half of it while I was also testing. So my brain is mush right now.

Here we go 0.8 so we're close to completion. Can't wait for it to be completed to play it and enjoy it as I'm sure Faerin cooked in this one like he always used to do.

Yes, skipping time caused that problem. Skipping time will not fix it.
Agian, this was caused by skipping time/days rather than going to bed normally before the last event.
To fix this, you need to load an older save, and go to bed at midnight, normally, not using the skip buttons and waiting for the game to force the issue.
Two others, but we asked them for a log, and they ignored us, so we haven't been able to look into it yet.
Can you upload your log for us?

It will not be on D, unless you have windows there.

if that is easier.
it will be a file that says Player.log.
