What a great idea. See you in 5 years.
I played the last 3 updates. Each added nothing. All of a scene, or two. The last 3 updates added no real content. All of a minute or two. I won't download this one. There's no point.

The point is valid, if a dev is milking it, name it. A scene or two and a hotfix, isn't worth playing, or subbing for. You expect content to be worth it. It involves game time, an update on any sub of 5 buck or more, should be in double figure playtime,10 minutes plus, and that way there's a game being played, instead of another scene adding nothing else.

At the rate of this year with minimal content added, no real change on the existing game except a few tune ups, figure it out

No, as I said earlier, he has been having a lot of issues IRL, including one of the cores of his CPU going out, causing constant crashes when he tried to render. Took us a while to figure out what was causing the crash, and then get it replaced. We barely got this out at all this month.

Thank you for the explanation. I enjoyed the game obviously and liked the content. It's why I am disappointed. I hope he gets it sorted out.

We do too, we thought this one was going to go better, but then his SDD and CPU died. We were hoping to have the game done in December or so, but thanks to all of this, it got pushed back to early next year.
It sucks, but there was nothing he could do about it. We have barely even gotten the testing done the last several months. This one, we had one day.

Keep your fingers crossed things go better next month. XD

I usually don't reply to posts like these, but I really don't get it:

There are so many devs who don't release an update for months (sometimes even years), without even posting any information or update. Devs who never finish their game(s) or just move on to something else. Devs that make games filled with low quality/messy renders. And the list goes on.

And here I've been releasing monthly updates for the past, what, 8-9 years or so? I've missed maybe one or two in all those years. And I get accused of "milking", because the updates have been smaller the past few months?

You have no idea what you're talking about (and that's me being nice).
But send me a PM on Patreon, and I'll gladly refund you, because I don't like "milking" anyone (unless you look Madeline)

You have a great way of showing that .

nice game thank you
Thanks! I appreciate the positive feedback! Sometimes, that's all it takes to motivate a grumpy old dev ;)

I'm just raising the white flag. There's no dialogue option to give her panties while she's doing laundry. Selecting and using them on Rebecca doesn't work either.

UPD: Nevermind. I was need to give them to her at 9 am in basement.

Monthly updates are only good if there's the content. Otherwise they're not worth it. Gamers are buying into a game. It translates into game time of a gaming experience. There's no game time when there's nothing added except another 1 or 2 minute scene. The last 3 updates haven't changed the game except various hotfixes, where some gameplay adjusted, and possibly added another scene. The bulk of any release was already there, it hasn't changed, despite of a scrabble event, or pool scene. It took all of 2 minutes to play, if the saved worked. At that rate, a gamer, playing games, might as well return when? Next year or later to find something playable to play in it.

I dislike monthly releases, unless you can guarantee, both polls, and enough interaction, keeping your base active and subbed. Otherwise they sub off and come back when there's something to play. I have enjoyed your other games. I loved Mystwood Manor, and Man of the House. On steam. I am enjoying this game, except there's been no real content in the last 3 updates. No point in downloading it for a brand new scene, has it changed the original game? I think not. It gets to the same place, and then it....

3 month releases are much better, unless you're super active in adding content with interaction like polls.

That's a matter of opinion and personal taste. I prefer monthly updates as opposed to waiting for God knows how long for an update to be released, because by the time the update does come out, you'd have forgotten who the LIs were, especially if you play a lot of AVNs as I do. It's difficult to get invested in a game with an update schedule like that.

And FTR, MotH was updated every 2 weeks during development. Those of us on the team felt it better to release monthly updates, and made that suggestion before MwM got started on. It gives us something to look forward to, rather than sitting around with our thumbs up our asses and nothing to do.

When you have a consistent developer like this one, the simple solution becomes: DON'T PLAY EVERY UPDATE.

You said it yourself, '3 month releases are much better'.... so then play every 3 months. This is one of those highly dependable devs so just set a calendar notification every 3 months or so to download the latest version of the game.

This way, there will be a lot more content for you each time you check back in and for those of us that enjoy the monthly updates, we get what we want as well. Everybody wins.

+1 to the forgetting who the LI's were part. I often get annoyed with games that only update once a year for that reason especially.

Exactly. By the time you get the update, you almost have to play from the beginning just to refresh your memory about what you have already done and how far you've got. I can name several of them off the top of my head that I've lost interest in because of that reason, but that would be off-topic here. :)
