it's because the scene is missing some pics, if you have finished the game and go to the gallery, there will be some enemies with errors like you said, the game will crash. I think in the future they will add them back in full.

I got the same error. Copying the link into an incognito/private window or just using a different web browser works for me.
Aight this is a surprisingly decent game, there's even companions to go around with, and team revive mechanics!

I'm surprised that so many other sprite animations are hidden in the game's gallery. It's a shame you can't select certain characters like Toki directly in-game to view them.

Welcome to Version 0.1.1 of Mihashira ReMix! This is a small sex-focused mod which aims to add a couple of sex scenes unlocked throughout the game and accessible on the world map, and also tweaks the clothing state for certain H animations. It also includes an optional new set of animations to turn Toki into a girl for his (now her) sex scenes!
Here's what's included so far:
- Hotfix v0.1.1
- Fixed the Mamushi x Oni scene disappearing after completing the 'Valley Crossing' stage
- Slightly adjusted the World Map's invisible barriers to allow easier navigation to the above scene
1. Mamushi x Oni Sex Scene
Unlocked upon defeating the Bamboo Forest boss stage, Night Attack.

2. Dishevelled Dress States
I love being able to toggle between clothed and nude in gallery scenes, but I really enjoy the inbetween states - clothes opened up, tits hanging out etc. ReMix makes the following changes to the Clothed variants of these scenes:
Kigis x Villager scene - Kigis will be topless (kimono pulled down to her waist), and the Miko's kimono will also be pulled down to reveal her breasts in the smaller pixel animation.
Hashitaka/Kigis Doggystyle 1 - Her kimono falls loose, and her left breast hangs out. As the male speeds up, her kimono falls fully from her shoulders. For Hashitaka, he lifts her skirt further up to fully reveal her ass.

I remember first starting the game and thinking 'Fuck, Toki's hot. Can't wait to see her get railed!' and later finding out he was a guy all along
To bring back my dream of this hot demon hunting gal, ReMix makes the following changes (it includes nude variants, but the descriptions will mention clothing states for the clothed variants):
Toki Doggystyle 1 - Toki is now a girl, with breasts between Ikaru's and Hashitaka's in size. Her kimono starts in the default state, but falls open to reveal her breasts as the male starts to fuck her harder.

Note that this mod is compatible with either the translated or untranslated versions of the game, but all sex scenes (and their corresponding map nodes) will be in English! Version-wise, it works with the v 1.0.7 / 26th Mar patch - it may not work with earlier versions, and may or may not be compatible with future ones until updated. To install, simply extract the contents of the zip (bmp and data) into your main game folder and select Replace. If you're using the , install this mod last. Feel free to keep a backup of your originals if you want to go back to the vanilla scenes!

I quite like how much bonus H content is available in the gallery, allowing you to play around with all the scenarios that don't necessarily appear in the game's actual events. But I agree it'd be even cooler to have everything be possible via gameplay!
On the bright side, Toki is one of the three new playable characters in the upcoming DLC. Sounds like you'll be looking forward to that
The installation instructions are written at the bottom of the post you just linked - was there a particular part that wasn't working for you? Let me know if so and I can try and troubleshoot.

I was trying out the translation mod but for some reason dying to the oni in Invasion seems to spawn a bunch of graphics on the screen

Took another look at it and put the patch on a fresh copy of the game and it seems to be working as intended now. I suspect that the version I originally used was probably outdated and caused some weirdness. The game in general didn't seem to know what to do with bmp files.
So yeah if anyone else experiences the same issue just a fresh download should do the trick

Yep definitely sounds like you were just using an older version of the game!
Sprites are called in by the engine using a number assigned to their spritesheet (the .bmp file itself), and also a number assigned to their position within the sheet.
So with new updates, especially ones where the dev was condensing the sheets to make them take up less filesize, things got waaay jumbled between versions.
What about the gallery would you change? It may be that it can be modded. But just depends what you mean by 'better' - did you try the Free Gallery by any chance, or just the standard (green background) Gallery?
