VN - Ren'Py - MILF Games [v0.675] [Scarlet Tales]

One of the best games on this platform without a doubt. The plot, music, dialogue, sound effects, and scenes - everything is top-notch. While there isn't as much content available as I would like at the moment, I'm excited about the upcoming releases. My thanks and appreciation to the developers for their hard work!

One of the hottest mom-son story I have ever read so far. It's exciting to see the boy break down his mom's wall bit by bit, which made it even real(not like some other slutty mom who'd jump on to you right away) .
It's been a long time since I played a game this good, and I am picky. Good job! Expect more excellent content by you talented developers.

PROS
+ A couple of characters look good.
+ Sex scenes have animations with decent physics and quality.

CONS
- The story starts by showing what's gonna happen (kind of) in the end, and that's a terrible choice, all it does is mix people's heads for no reason.
- The Narrator talks too much... Like seriously, the amount of Narrator dialogue this game has makes you wanna skip every dialogue thrown into you... Like the Narrator is not enough MC is quite vocal as well, acting ridiculous over, and over again, talking with slurs, nearly never taking anything seriously, not to forget how horny all the time he is, and doing stupid sh*t like showing his mothers pictures to other guys in his class like his best friend, etc. Then we have Shawn, MC's best bro, and he is not so much different than the Narrator or the MC...
- Some characters look good, but most of them look either ''meh'' or ''bad'' especially nearly every character lacking curves, and being too skinny makes nearly all of them look samey and boring. And facial expressions even make this worse.
- No option to close saved names, it's just a waste of time for people who save often, there should be an option to close it.
- MC can't be named, very bad choice for this type of game.
- The name of the game doesn't suit the game at all.
- There are some weird disturbing sound effects like that ''zapp'' sound.
- Some stuff doesn't make any sense at all, like the chat MC had with girls, it was supposed to be private messages, but it seems like DEV didn't even care to erase messages sent before, so it looks like group chat...
- All the content the game has is for the dream scenes...

VERDICT
The whole game feels like writers threw some stuff into, it and created something, it's not coherent or good, this thing needs tons of work to be even a coherent creation, let alone being a game...

Great pace atm, models too and I actually enjoyed the narrator part, I understand that it saves some breath for dev to make some additional renders. For those who don't like slow dynamics and text - just skip it or you take a risk and you might even like it. Great game so far, hope the dev does not abandon, there is so much potential. P.S. why is everyone so crazy about changing the name?

The best mother-son relationship in any VN I've seen. It feels real. Very, very real. It's a slow burn with the mother so far, and it burns hot. If you like mother-son relationships, it's a must see.

As for the rest, there is a mix of female and male characters similar to other VN's in a school setting. There is also a mix of different ages, races, and body types for the females, which is a huge plus in my book. For now, however, most relationships beyond the mother-son relationship still need to be developed.

There are three downsides for me, all relatively minor. One is the dream sequencies--something I personally hate in nearly all VNs, but are typically included to placate those who like seeing some form of lewd scene early. The second is a fantasy aspect that feels misplaced to me. The third is an enormous number of typos (though this is something that will likely be fixed over time).

I still rate it 5 stars on the strength of the mother-son relationship alone. The developer understands people and relationships, which bodes well for the future. Highly recommended.

- Gianna could be a bit more curvy - a bit bigger and rounder ass and a bit bigger boobies but within natural limit

It nails the genre it's in well, and the different switches between real life and Mike's random dream scenarios are fun, that being said, I laughed really hard when they said they were going to give him a new haircut to help show he's more of a man and they went from the Zoomer curls to a basic spiky mohawk/undercut thing, like, no? It's still a bad haircut, slick it back or something, that hair is still terrible lmao

Wow, i ve played a lot of Mom milf games, and this game does something a lot of other games dont do well, balancing build up and embracing the tension/guilt of their immoral relationship, it also almost fully focuses on the mom and has pretty good graphics and light animation so far

Game with great potential. Beautiful milf and side characters, nice renders, well paced story (even thought it just started evolving) and some very interesting and hot known game characters scenes.

The milfs are beautifully rendered, really beautiful models. Same goes to the bra, underwear and lingerie, they are really visually appealing. Mom is really cute and shy too

If this game gets completed, im certain it will be one of those highly recommended milf/mom/son game

I am very reluctant about giving 5 starts to games so early in development but as of 0.35 this is a flawless game in my opinion. Good art an animations.
The comedy in adult games is usually not very good but I actually enjoyed it here. Super minor criticism. It would've been cool to have the option to rename the mc.

Loving the game so far! The amount of branching choices that change the story and scenes is amazing—feels like the replayability is going to be insane.

Keep up the great work, and don’t let criticism get to you. I’ll definitely consider supporting the project once there’s more content.

[Ver 0.35] It's alright. Not a fan of using "imagination scenes" just to have some type of effortless gooning. And hopefully the characters introduced don't have the same treatment as "Guilty Pleasure" and just forget about them through out the story.

Scenes are interesting with not a lot of blue balling like many many others. Animations are above average. CGs are above average but skin looks a bit fake and smooth -- still quite realistic. Character design is perfect. Story is fast, scenarios are hot. One of the best games on here, especially for its genre

Very attractive characters, especially Gianna, Mrs. Devil and MS. Summers, I would also like to see more participation of the teacher Summers. Graphic designs and animations are something that concerns my tastes. I count on more of this wonderful novel

One of the best new games if you are into mom fetish. Dialogue is extremely well written. Renders are nice. It hooked me from the start. I give it a 5 star rating even though I do have some nitpicks with the game. Sadly the MC is a short , overtly young looking kid. Side girls don't elicit much interest for me. it's all about Gianna, mc's mom who looks and sounds perfect. MC does have two friends who in turn have hot moms, but it remains to be seen what role they have to play in the game. Overall, a great start. If the game keeps its focus on MC and Gianna it could become one of the all time greats of this genre.

Played through what's available and am hopeful for the future. Definitely too little content for a project 3 months in, but I appreciate that it's still building up steam, so it's worth giving the benefit of the doubt.

Pros:
- I like the premise, it's a classic but ever appreciated set up to justify a Pure or Corrupt route choice. I will always choose Corrupt.
- The women look great.
- The sex scenes were hot... with caveats.

Cons:
- Broccoli hair. I know this is personal taste, but I hate it so much.
- Way too short for a project 3 months in, as mentioned above. What's here now should have been what was available in November.
- Over reliance on video game characters to have fantasy sex scenes. The first one was fine, it was a dream in class, but the Lady Dimitrescu one is meant to be in the world of the VN, so it completely pulls you out of the story.

Definitely one to check back in on in a few months, and the cons definitely aren't dealbreakers of any kind. 3 stars is all I can reasonably give right now, since I don't think a review score should represent "what it could be", but I'm really hopeful that I'll be able to revisit and change this score in the future. I wish you luck.

Edit: Revisited this review after a few updates and have bumped it up from 3 to 4. Creator clearly takes feedback to heart, but not in a negative way where they throw out the baby with the bathwater. The new updates have been more focused, there have been no more video game character divergences, and while there have been seemingly fewer choices of any consequence that's fine for a story that's ultimately in its opening.
Looking forward to seeing how this goes, and how it engages the with heaven/hell premise. I love a corruption mechanic, so I'm hoping for more of that.

Early review on 0.3 but damn this game is good. First of all, it says 'MILF Games' but the roster isn't only MILFs. That's great. Plenty of female students and even some younger girls. And they're all very beautiful. The use of facial expressions is also pretty extensive.

The writing is right up my alley and interesting. I'm looking forward to more of it.

Very good game so far, lots of potential, as of version 0.3 not much in the way of 'content' witht the main Li's yet but all the models look great (Milfs what more can i say), i was genuinly disapointed when the game ended which in my book is always a good sign. Story was enjoyable so far and well written can't wait for more.

Like that, there seem to be a lot of future paths. (Thank you so much dev for a feature to name saves, really needed in this type of games with choices)
