RPGM - Milfairy Tales [V.0.6330p] [LeelaK]

Massive amount of grind, most maps outside of the main city are overflowing with enemies that move ridiculously fast and hone in on you, making even simple travel a grindfest. The sex scenes are low in number relative to the grind and mediocre quality, not really worth all the work put in. Overall story isn't terrible, but as another review mentioned, the amount of sex scenes for a hero powered by sex is way too low.

Update;
The game has gotten better it is much better as far as playability and has come a long way with the story development. Still pretty buggy and vague in what you need to do. The Guide helps a bit but not enough.

It's a good and mostly well thought out game, however the game is full of bugs and gaps, eventually ending the enjoyment for me. I played through 4 times making it a bit further every time but always ending in bug or total confusion.

The biggest issue is you need to do things in exact order and the "walkthrough" is ridiculously vague, so you end up flooding every part of the game to move on. It just isn't fun.

I spent more time wondering around trying to find the different areas and figure out the next steps because they are simply not explained.

The "House" to the south"
The "Shrine" Called the Temple and changed without explanation
The "Deeper" woods
The list goes on and on...

These items are mentioned once and the MC is sent wondering the entirety of the game to fulfill the next step, sometimes taking several interim steps to get there, it's overly complicated and illogical. .

I love RPGM games and hope to change the rating as the slightest bit of logic is added.

This is a pretty competent RPG with heavy emphasis on gameplay and overall quality. Not as much sex as in other similar games. Which is weird, considering, that the story is all about sex-magic and the sexual awakening of the protagonist.

The art is pretty good, though not outstanding. And like I said, there isn't that much of it. Other than the characters, most graphics seem to be standard RPGMaker assets. But that seems to be pretty normal in porn games, unfortunately.
The story is your standard RPG save-the-world fare, but told in an interesting way. The characters are likeable.
Maybe it's just because I don't usually play JRPGs and my only comparison are a few other RPGMaker games, but the worldbuilding and gameplay are genuinely enjoyable. Fighting, exploring and sidequesting are fun and don't outstay wheir welcome, at least for me. Also, don't expect this game to go easy on you. This is the type of RPG, where you really need your consumables. This is good. When you get a sex scene after a long day of questing, it feels like a real reward.

Note for incest lovers: This game may or may not disappoint you. Due to magic shenanigans, nobody is really related to each other. Kinda. But they kinda still are. It's weird. If I remember correctly, babies are teleported into their mother's wombs from another dimension or some shit like that. There is no incest patch. It's intended to be this way. So be warned.

Edit: I need to mention, that I haven't played this in quite a while and this game has been updated several times since then. I want to replay it once it is finished.
But for some reason I just randomly decided right now, that I should review all the games, that I have played so far.

The biggest problem with these type of games is deciding on the hentai content vs rpg content. You need to understand people want to play this game to see mc having sex. There are tons of good rpg games out there, for all others. Unfortunately this game, like the thousands before fails to understand it and assumes you will go through grind to see couple below standard scenes. I am sure there will be fans but too little adult content, a boring story, cheesy dialogues and an ancient engine makes it unplayable for me.

very good game for this site, beautiful heroines, good world, good scenes. I love this. Voice acting sound pretty weird in most of times, but still I liked playing this. Try it if you love H-RPGMaker games

A game that focuses heavily on the weeb aspects and silly situations, often breaking the 4th wall with jokes that a select few would enjoy.

The gameplay is your standard RPGM, nothing special but it's tried and true.
The characters are rather bland and pretty much all the lewd scenarios you get into is your standard japanese virgin reaction.

Story isn't that bad and has potential but on the downside you have to get through all the silly dialogue first and if that's not your cup of tea then overlook this game.

Sex is your standard pictures, the art is pretty good but don't expect variety.

The best +18 rpg I've played I feel like I'm playing a real game I like the farming aspect and the secondary quests and I love the development of characters whether main or secondary especially characters who are mothers. I wish you good luck for the future.

unnecessary over complicated and surprisingly difficult, the game is cut in chapters and u can miss events in every chapter if u dont waste ur time looking for something that dont even have to be there, art is medium not the best not the worst, battles are hard because of lack of new moves of MC i menaged to go to the chapter 3 in the mines and when i had to close down pipes i lost my patience with all of it finding stuff is irritating, every character got 4 different styles of building their TP u can only choose one at a time tho, i think its all unnecessary mechanics over complicating things

I come after 8 hours of play and I admit, that I do not expect such good ratings, maybe these people have never played an RPG? Or is it that I'm in a parallel universe where Star Wars 9 has become the best episode of the series.....

Anyway, If you've already played other RPGs, Milfairy Tales is very, very classic... but really classic, there's nothing for it, the Story & Writing? You are the son of a blessed heroine and you have to fight the evil corruption!!!.... Which has already been done in thousands of games (also in games that do the opposite), but there, nothing is surprising. Drawings & Animations? Both have nothing to envy to Japanese games which do exactly the same thing, see even, much better.

I could put a long list of games that tell the same fucking story. I could understand people who like this game and gives four stars, but beyond that, I can't.

When I give five stars to a game, it must be excellent or promise to do even better. Milfairy Tales is neither of the two. Milfairy Tales promises to keep animations as they are, to keep the characters without much personality, with a story without surprises, seen & reviewed. 3/5

The game is just extremely drawn out. Like everything. I get nervous just talking to some random NPC because he might slam down a huge wall of text and worst is most of it is deliberately written badly.
Its like one or two text boxes that have actually useful information, the rest is usually just a mix of nonsensical out of place dirty talk or whatever the hell the NPC has been having for lunch yesterday.
The same goes for the battles, who are all extremely drawn out there is not a button that makes it faster or anything like that. Like I got Grace in my team with her sword hurl and until that damn sword flies up in the air and finally lands on the target it really takes good 5 seconds just to do that.
Everything in this game is just so deliberately spaced out to make it seem like its huge when in truth its tiny.
Its an absolute pain playing it, its an absolute pain reading it. Like I'm in chapter 2 and I talk with Mariah about Val and they spent so much time just talking about how squishy her ass is. Then you reach Val and most of the discussion is again how squishy her ass is. The worst is you actually have to pay attention to the tremendous dumb garbage you read. Because somewhere in this nonsensical talk the character actually tells you something important.
I don't mind the occasional lewd remark but this is just stupid and every character acts like that.
But I know where the problem lies with this game. You see if you cut away half the text, good riddance its garbage and speed up the battles this game gets finished in less than an hour.
The art is good but then you often get into places where they just have a big placeholder and instead they advertise their subsribestar.
Even worse they have a whole character in the game, the witch, who is only there to 4th wall break and advertise their subscribestar.
Seriously best thing you can do with this game is rip out the CG and look at the art which is not bad at all. Don't bother playing this unless you REALLY have a lot of patience.
I played the game muted because usually Rpg games like that have similar music and sound effects. So I like to play these muted occasionally. So I didn't know it had voice acting. This voice acting sounds like somebody strapped a couple of women on some chairs and forced them to voice act. Its that bad.

I spent a couple of hours and can say that gameplay is actually descent and story is good but animation is outdated. You won't see good H-Scenes here. Also sometimes quest gives you the name of the NPC but won't tell you direction where you need to be headed.

I played this one some time ago, but having stumbled upon it again, I decided to leave a short spoiler-free review.

First of all, I want to praise overall quality of the game narrative-wise. There's some worldbuilding here and there, plenty of interactions some of which go into comedy gold territory. Sometimes, and I mean, VERY rarely dialogue can be a BIT cringe, but you can see that everything was written with love and passion so you can't really hate even those small parts. Otherwise? You'll either feel engaged reading it or will have an urge to squeeze out a chuckle if not a whole-ass laugh. Just for that reason alone I can already recommend this game - it's fucking interesting to read.

My personal favorite are interactions between MC and his main love interest, who's his dommy-mommy - I am honestly intrigued in how the story will develop further, because what we do have already is just - MUAH - exquisite.

Gameplay... Well, let's just say that the whole RPGM part is done as irritating as possible with some more irritation added on top(like how ambush mechanics work), but all the other "original" bits are ranging from "diamond in a rough" to "relatively good". H-minigames, sadly, are pretty underwhelming and feel a bit rushed, I hope they'll be reworked at some point.

The maps are well-designed so exploration doesn't feel like a hassle, and you also have different interactions with NPCs depending on the time of the day and the chapter you are on, which is pretty swell and makes exploration feel even more rewarding.

Art is... ranging too. From "pretty damn good" to "kinda meh". Just like all else in the game it requires a bit more polish in some places. Hope devs will eventually improve on the worse ones at some point, but I do hope more they'll finish the game first before they start those "remaking stuff" shenanigans, because we all know how it ends when it goes off in the wrong order.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot, but this game has voiceover in some places. Let's just say... it's not very good. In fact, it so NOT VERY GOOD, that, during the tutorial fight(lmao), it irritated me to the point where I've made my own bloody fix, which was a real pain in the ass to make btw, which replaces all voiceover lines with pure, blissful silence. And yes, the reason why I had to do this is basically due to the fact that you can't configure voice volume in-game, because voice is tied to overall sound effects, so you'd either had to play without ANY sound or with this abysmal(probably placeholder) voiceover. If someone also felt their aneurism expanding and threatening to burst, and their last two braincells dying in agony whenever someone in the game opened their mouth - you can probably still find this fix I've made in this very post.
This is a passion project. At least that's what I saw when I played this game. If I wasn't biased towards those kinda games, I'd rate this around 3.5 or, a very unlikely 4, but I am. So it's a whole damn 5. I have relative faith in devs eventually polishing out the game to perfection so this rating, too, will eventually become fairly justified. Because the framework is there, and it's pretty damn good. All that remains is just to stick on some more plaster and chisel it out into a banging sculpture.

The art of the game is very good and the story is quite fun and captivating. For these reasons I give it a 5.

The gameplay/quests are nice, but could be a little better. The interactive sex scenes are a little buggy.

A fairly well rounded RPGM game, with some glaring weaknesses. The cast is good, the artwork is many steps above other RPGM games on this site and the worldbuilding is very intriguing, even though the sex content is a bit vanilla.

However the crafting mechanics are annoying and seem to be there just to pad the runtime. (Looking at you mine chapter). Also combat is weird (preemptive rounds should not include enemy actions! What's the point?) and the fact that only one character per fight gets to activate his/her preemptive bonus skill is borderline crazy.

All in all, a solid game, which I hope to see improve in both mechanics and story (and sexy content). 3.5 for now.

Has really really great potential, its not short, got enough content for me( 10-15hours)
The art is great and characters are likeable.
Only issues I got are just the font and no auto-save, they are minimal.
Give it a try if you're into good RPGMS!

Traditional RPG setting with a pretty expansive world map.

One of my favorite parts of the game is that not only are you working on increasing your harem of milfs, but some of the side quests involve helping out a particular milf and not-son in their bonding time. Each of these interactions is pretty unique and I look forward to more situations like this in the game!

This game is really addictive .It has a great plot, great art and great turned based battles. I totally recommend this game for people who are interested in incest and epic adventures. Only down bad thing of this game is there's no(or few) animated scene.
Hope this game will get popular soon.

Downloaded this game on May 2021, and can say this game is absolutely great! Really enjoyed the storyline, characters' conversations, fun & funny moments, hidden puzzles to solve , gameplay, music, the girls too of course , everything adds up very nicely and made me immersed very well in the game. Just finished chapter 4 part 1 recently, thank you for such great game, I really enjoy the time I spent playing this game so far, definitely looking forward for the next updates!

Drawing is very pleasing to the eye.
Characters - there are not many main characters, but each is unique, interesting and beautiful in its own way. In general - they are worked out superbly.
The scenes are well done - several stages, the possibility of different actions. In my opinion, they are made more interesting and better than many animated in other games.
Gameplay - I like this RPG component. A system with training, improving skills as you use them, boss fights are good (some without preparation may not seem easy - but preparation will help you here, a little tactics or you can simply grind).
The plot is a seemingly standard fantasy setting for this genre. But thanks to the talent of the authors - it looks really interesting. For me, this is one of the few projects on the site that I look forward to, because I wonder what will happen in the next chapter.
Partial voice acting is also a plus. And also in the game there are various funny moments =)

All in all - this game is great and I recommend it. I really hope that it will receive further development and more support.
