Well either the glass is half full, or half empty. I think it's "less than three months" if you read the calendar backwards. Which is "basically two months" rounded down.
The only other gentleman games still worth (theoretically) following haven't been updated in 1-3 years. And no update in sight.

It's a misprint in the first post. The game was released in June last year. June 2024.

We've seen similar cases over the years. Developers abandon their games and subscribers are left to feed the creators' pockets. So to be clear, I'm not saying that's the case here. And I also don't fully understand the reason behind those who stopped developing. But there are cases like Milftoon Drama, The Secret of the House and others that I could mention like Summertime Saga where it basically took them 7 months to release a cool update with a lot of content. Just don't use the excuse that it's lack of money. They earn well, especially because they wouldn't continue developing just for the love of it.
Again, im not saying this is the case with this dev and his game. But we saw happen before.
Also i love this game and art. Would love to this game go on with a lot of content and there's plenty of possibility

Does anyone have a way to play the game on the phone before the release of Android? I don't want to wait another week

For those that follow discord they know when the update is coming and what is going on since I post there regularly Dev Logs and possible delays.
I already wrote multiple times an estimate of the release and currently we are on plan since we even calculated possible delays on the translation which we ended up removing so there will be no more delays.
I don't know what other devs are doing or how much they are earning but over the last year I have never delayed without a good excuse. After a year of releasing the game with 7-8 updates our supporters numbers are less than 15 and we still insist of keeping the game free and available to everyone and in a few cases we stop from our day jobs to work on the game with some months actually costing us not only time but also money from our own savings so we can keep working on it. Thankfully Itch.io helped a bit (Thank you all for donating!) but we are still far off from having at least 30-50 people supporting the game (monthly)
If we delay a bit because we need to work so I can pay the electricity honestly it is not something that I can do something about especially when I've told people at least a month in advance.
Overall :
1. Don't worry. The update will be released as it was scheduled 3 months ago
2. Each update has it's own update schedule. Just because we released an update 2 months ago doesn't mean the next one will be in 2 months again. It could be 1 month , it could be 4. It depends on the content , money, work that is needed and obviously our health.
3. If you like what we do , support us. That's the easiest way to get faster updates since we won't have to do 2 jobs but 1.

Uhm...
Milftoon Drama's artwork was made by the classic Milftoon artist, Inusen.
He apparently quit working for Milftoon, that's why Milftoon Drama had to be abandoned.
Then he made his own games, mostly Secret of the House. And everyone knows how much of a mess that is.
And if you noticed Inusen's behavior when interacting with his subscribers and the general public, you can take a guess who's responsible for him quitting his Milftoon work (and thus permanently shipwrecking Mt-Drama).
In other words, Inusen has continuously proven that he's a deceiving, complacent, arrogant, entitled, insufferable scumbag.
Meanwhile you see Milftoon himself here, acting like a professional. Which i assume he is, considering how long the Milftoon brand has existed and managed to live past all the forced LGBT transformation of the adult gaming scene over the past years.
