OK, I see your point.
The thing is that many people prefer many different things. But the developer has to choose what type of game he is making, and stick with it. The AI version gained more popularity, and because of that, I recommended sticking with it.
Doing everything for everyone slows down the process and ends up pleasing no one. I paid for this game before, and I stopped supporting it, as it defocused and got spread out everywhere
At the current rate, the development is slow, and the story got totally lost. I hope that increasing the speed of development will also allow more time to focus on story and on actual gaming aspects of the game.
I also do not care about anything above 1080p, I don't even like it 4k, the files are way too large. But it is good that there will now be one version only, for the sake of speed
