VN - Ren'Py - Mind Control [v0.21] [specialmind]

This game hits different at the start with lots of variations on the story but outdated renders and lack of animations tend to lower overall score in my case. In short structure and premise is good but execution and quality is mediocre.

Great fucking game, this is a diamond in the mud, because of the art and the sypnosis someone may think this is a low qality incest corruption game but this shit is top tier, ITS A MUST, the plot is everything, and the female characters each one have her own charm, love this game

I think this game is worth you time. It's not perfect, but you'll have a good time playing through this, if the premise appeals to you.

Two points of criticism: Firstly, it's not made clear how your mind control power works exactly. Your power is as strong or weak as the story requires, which to me is not very satisfying.
The second main issue I have is that I don't understand Rosie. Why is she in this story? Is she meant to be a grounding character? The story pushes you to chase after Rosie, but you're not given a reason why you (the player) would want that.

An interesting question in adult games is always: what do you do with other male characters? How do they relate the PC and how do they relate to other female characters? Do you want to give the fantasy of letting the player 'collect' all the female characters, or can you only pursue one? Since this is a game about Mind Control, the answer comes naturally.
The story could have been a lot simpler if there weren't any supporting male characters. So the inclusion seems to be a deliberate choice. I'm not sure if that choice is paying off yet.

Personally not a fan of familial relations, that always feels awkward. I did enjoy the setup for upheaval, that felt refreshing.

Despite some decent visuals, "Mind Control" really very much fails to live up to that idea of "Control". The game is a linear story with minor branching decisions that do provide alterations and access to scenes, but not much to story. In short, it doesn't go anywhere near far enough to reinforce the concept.

Apart from that failure, it's exactly the generic AVN you've come to expect, carrying all the negatives that come with that.

Story is solid, Kinks growing fast and graphics is a nice change from the usual.
Just sad to see, that it does not get the support (subscribers) it deserves.
Hopefully that changes over time.

This AVN has the potential to reach "The AVN's Olympus"... It is a simple idea but it is perfectly developed but it is just beginning so it remains to see how it goes but it is certainly worth playing this novel
I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't so new and if Rosie were more attractive, i mean if she is going to be a "forced LI" unless make her attractive, i understood that the Dev wants realism but to settle for ugly woman i already have real life, this is a porn game, i want pretty women

Outside of that everything else is very well done, history, gameplay, you can even modify your stats every time the MC sleeps, that's just brilliant, i wish all the visual novels could implement it

For a long time i had to consider my choices and i abused the RenPy saving system as never been, just to be sure save before every action!

At first. the amount of choice you need to make can be overwhelming but in choices have meaning.

I'm somewhat mixed about the 3way stat system, i had troubles to allocate them on my character terms of what would have biggest effect on the events.

The adult content scenes had a really cool scene replay mechanics, repeating the same action.

I really liked that fact that you cause pleasure to woman or request/demand pleasure from others is a really cool attention to detail!

I'm not a really big fan of the butt plug content as of now - is not my cup of tea, i was hoping more - anal - action with the mother, lets see what's going to happen next...

The story progression with the sister felt authentic, about exploring the other and being open for new ideas.

So far, the best mind control game I have found on this site. Rather than just being a corruption game that pretends you are controlling their minds. Cannot wait to see where the dev takes this one. Good job so far.

Game good, actual impact to your decisions and an interesting subplot past the porn. I think that the more realistic body types also greatly increase the quality of the game, not using honey select or whatever other generic base models is a huge selling point.

Really well made game with variety of options, branching paths that leads to different scenes and scenarios. Girls are hot, the scenes are good, and there is a variety of them depending on how you play your character and his stats. Impressive choices and divergent paths.

Story could have been good but it lacks controle, your supposed to be this big mind controlling dude but your given very little freedom, like Rosie the fatty is more or less forced on you, sure you can say no to her but you need to do it constantly since for whatever reason shes the main girl which makes 0 sense, why would MC go after the most ugly LI when he should have freedom of choice.......to me it got extremly annoying having her pushed so hard.

Next theres the sister Mia whos a lesbian and going after her as a LI feels idiotic since MC could just mind controle her into not being a lesbian but thats never allowed for whatever reason, sure you can fuck her but she still talks about how shes only into girls which is just weird, also sister is apprently not a virgin either or maybe she just used to many dildos or something so its really just one disapointment after the other in this game, im guessing the only virgin is the fatty that most wont be into unless they like that type.

Then theres the sex scenes which are boring and just a click maraton to make it picture to picture movement aka 2 frames crap, which really dosent make game any better.

How this is so highly rated i dont know, it lacks in to many areas.

Probably the best ren'py i have seen in a while, what is there and the potential still give me hope to see my favorite game get finished game on this site.

The mind reading and control is not overpowered, characters are not too cliché nor too tasteless.

There is many thing that no doubt will be added and changed but for now (0.21) is giving to all who love the mind control/reading trope and we can only hope it does not get droped

Holy crap this game is amazing. It has such a variety of scenes and choices that I'm just amazed by the creator. This is one of my fav games on this site, just absolutely obsessed. 10/10 for sure, check it out!!!

Great setup, good characters, it seems to actually have a plot and villains.
MC can be very sick and evil, reflecting the dev "special mind" and allowing interesing path options.
The plot indicates the possibility to put the player in a tight spot, but it has yet to be seen if it will be this way or the traditional no worries H-Game plot development.

This is one of those AVNs where your choices really DO matter.

I'm not really sure how to break this down to be precise, so I'll try to do it in three: visuals, story, then choices.

Visually, it's good. It's not amazing. It's not going to blow your mind. They're crisp and serviceable. The lighting can be flat, there's AI art in some of the background, but ultimately I don't think visuals should be the priority of an AVN. Now, that isn't to say that it's not important, it's just not the priority. AVN should really have a small v, and a big N. Sex scenes are good though, although some people will probably be annoyed by maybe not having some animations? There are some, some people might just not like them though. I think it works well for the project.

Speaking of N, the writing isn't bad really. The scope is small (although, near the end it seems to add some weird like sex cult thing), which benefits them massively, because it's hard to over-complicate. You're given your objectives, you're given the tools you'll use to reach them. That's it. So long as the dev doesn't over-complicate it, it shouldn't have any bloat. The dialogue is pretty good, even if it's clearly porn dialogue. But it serves the purpose of the project, and that's all you NEED for an AVN. So many want to write this Illiad story for their AVN, obsessing with these ham-handed monologues or these ridiculously convoluted stories, so much so that you spend 20 minutes reading between sex scenes. It's got a decent amount of dialogue to where you can distinguish the characters pretty well, even if they're a bit too familiar. I also forgive it a bit due to the dev clearly not speaking English as their first language. This is evident in numerous confused pronouns, in some strange grammar, in some strange sentence structure, etc.

Now, the big one is the choices. This game uses points in 4 categories which you decide, which judge your perversion, arousal, virility, and dominance/submissiveness. Perversion and dominance/submission can be altered by choices made, but it's 1% compared to 10% per point into each. Arousal and virility are bars that get filled up and then empty. After the end of every chapter, you can re-assign points, which makes it extremely interesting to try and mix and match dependent on what you want in each chapter. These 4 categories determine how you'll be able to approach certain scenarios, as there are multiple instances where you can get cut short depending on your points. That is fun. Also, with the number of love interests, it's fun trying to juggle all of them to try and get the "best" outcome, sacrificing some short-term gain for long-term gain. The number of choices, the LIs, and the stats, all make it genuinely engaging. After so many AVNs where it's just 3 choices that all mean the same thing, I find this so much more interesting.

I just have to say, this game is absolutely incredible. From start to finish, it's an amazing experience that completely immerses you in its world. The story is one of the strongest aspects—it’s so well-written, engaging, and full of depth. The pacing is perfect, keeping you hooked without ever feeling rushed or dragging on too long. Every twist and turn feels meaningful, and the way the characters develop throughout the game is just fantastic.

Though it is not as deep like goats of AVNS liek pale carnations or BAD. WHat it does with it its choice is best there is in the mind control a genre known for creating mindless droid. In this the choice is not forced upon you, you have choice.

The issue: SAOmetimes there are no choices where you can avoid hypnosis al thogether, other are the case where writing is not strong i.e, other characters while look good on body time have their p[ersonality skin deep unlike the goliath of this gnere game of hearts.
Hence this game for now isa 4.00/5 .

If the writing of character and their exploration was better, it would have been a masterpiece for now it is the only gamne that can give GAme f hearts a run for its money if there have been a better writing, its choice system is already superior to Game of hearts and while its visuals pale in comparison to other games ledig in AVN it is choice mechanism are fdun and that is reare for AVNs nowdays that are progressively becoming VN.

I highly recommend for anyone who wants this types of game. All your choices are your own and hence you are truly responsible for your situationa nd not the author of teh game be incest or cheating it si your choice that will make that happen so tread carefully.

This is a really solid mind control game. The plot gets a little out there and could use a walkthrough or mod just because of the sheer number of plot choices but I really enjoyed the writing overall.

It manages to take the standard mind-reader/mind control plot and put some guard rails on it (you can't read minds for a while after mind controlling and there's a cool down on mind control) as well as the only time I can remember that an MC actually had some debate about the ethics of mind controlling people. This made it a lot more interesting than a typical "wave hand and turn every woman into a mindless fuck doll" game. I think there's enough meat there that the plot could have just been about MC and his friends and without random characters like Joyce or the whole sex cult plot.

The stat system is kind of unclear: perversion and sub/dom are pretty straightforward but the other two control how quickly you get horny and how long it takes you to cum and they seem mostly cosmetic?

Those are my only real gripes, though. Definitely give this a try if you like mind control games, it's very good.

This game has gotten a lot of good reviews, but I don't know, it just wasn't for me; the dialogue is obviously not written by a native English speaker, and it's pretty horrible. The characters are pretty generic, and most of the girls, save one or two, are pretty unattractive both looks and personality-wise, a lot of people were praising the story and unique characters but I just really don't see it. The main girl is the one the game forces on you, and no matter what you do, you have to date her regardless of choices, and unless you're a chubby chaser, you probably won't like her. The whole mind-control storyline and morality dilemma was what drew me to install this game, but ultimately I feel like that falls pretty flat too. The renders are decent quality, not amazing, but not horrible either. I only played through the current content once. Supposedly there's a bunch of other choices too, but unless the game suddenly shoots up in quality on the other routes, then I doubt I'd be doing anything other than wasting my time. The sex scenes aren't amazing either, but at the end of the day character writing and story quality is probably what I value the most otherwise I would just watch porn.

The idea of the game is really brilliant. I really like it, the decisions you can make are very interesting. The character design is also great. I like the MC, he's not the boring standard guy. I just wish the Dom/Sub thing had more of an impact. Definitely one of the best games I've played so far.
