Another less than bright sex obsessed MC who dosent get angry at anything.

The premice is good but its not exactly original and its used mostly as an excuse to have girls interact with the MC when they would normally have nothing to do with him.

One of the big problems with a game like this is adding a life or death situation but then having MC or other characters treating it as if it were a game, you dont invite strangers into your house thus giving them access to your only food, weapons and a chance to kill you, in real life but in a game you would.

When the dumb MC realises robins situation is not normal after robin decides to essentially prostitute herself for shelter but then dosent and the other obvious lies even he should have thought thats a huge red flag and questioned her as to all the suspicious stuff or kick her out
The artwork is very good both in characters and locations with some very nice smooth animations.

I think most people will thoroughly enjoy this game but for me i preferlife and death scenarios to be more serious(not oops i used all the food for one meal dont be angry, with MC not caring in the slightest), the personalities of the characters is its major let down.

I played this game for the first time a few days ago, but I found myself thinking about the plot (forgetting what it was from) and wondering what happened next and why I didn't continue.

This is probably the only game I would call a porn game where I genuinely found myself curious about what's going on in the plot. Most feel like a game with a story to string together porn scenes, with a few exceptions, or start to blend together. This one stood out.

Beyond that the character designs are unique and refreshing, not the same few bodies with swapped out hairs and colours you begin to recognize from Daz. And the gameplay is simple but pretty decent. I overall enjoyed my experience.

But what drops it from 5 to 4 stars is that the writing is a bit awkward at times. The main character acts so awkwardly at points, I don't get it. Like he has some stupid ideas I cannot imagine anyone having. The mechanics also seem like they're responses to comments on old versions.

The most recent update gave progression as you kill enemies... But I feel like that should have been something added much earlier. Like before you reach the docks. It gives the player progression, makes fighting feel less like solely an obstacle, and it would prevent the need for a grind later depending on player choices if you just bump the requirement from level 1 to level 2 in everything.

And let Robin sleep in your bed, dangit. New girl takin' up all the attention.

Version 0.3.1
Excellent game and one of the best being currently developed for sure. The models are cute, the story is decent enough to keep you reading instead of clicking it all just away like some other games when it doesnt matter anyway.

The intro holding your hand for every click is kinda annoying for everyone who ever played a videogame before but its short enough to let it pass.

Animations are pretty nice and also very well integrated into the game both in sex as in story scenes.
The order in the scenes is kinda "wrong" to me

The focus on the "harem" aspect of the game (especially after a certain scene) besides all the "decisions" is pretty nice. Overall, great experience so far.

Only downside so far is MC. He is pretty inconsistent in all the things he says and does. Sometime full of confidence, next second super naive and
pathetic. Since the girls have their own "problems" this is kinda too much of it. Not every character in a game has toi be schizophrenic....


PS: For anyone rerading this and wondering if there is enough "good stuff" to play: there is.

Love the art and animation..first time for me to play this kind of game and with this beautiful animation...
surviving theme with horror and some magic and turnbased combat with not much grinding resources...really something i really need to play in adullt game..not just school, ntr, and honey select animation theme game...
i really hope in future content they make it more like dungeon crawling game with more surviving theme...

I love it.
It's pretty, it's atmospheric and the animations are smooth.
The first time I played it I sank roughly 5 hours into this game. I kept playing after the first wank just because I enjoyed the story and the atmosphere.

The start alone looks like a well made Horror/Mistery game from the 2000s. The characters acutally have character, their models are original and sexy.

The only minor gripes I have with this game are:
- Sometimes completing tasks to advance the story takes exactly all your stamina. Made a wrong turn or made a heavy attack? Better roll back or try afain tomorrow.
It's not a huge issue, most people won't even see it as a problem when they're playing efficient to begin with.

-I'd love an ingame implementation to revisit scenes that isn't just the gallery from the grandfather clock.
Just talking to a girl and initiating the scene, like "Hey, you remember the thing? Let's do that again!" and then replaying the scene with slightly changed dialog.

The gameplay is good, not annoying in the slightest. The girls are cute. The plot is interesting.

But the main character is pure cringe. Every second word from him is something like "sorry, are you ok with it", in sex scenes he is usually passive and does only what the girl tells him to do step by step, doesn't understand suggestions at all. Pretty stupid and passive overall, it's terrible.

This is the kind of game which keeps us coming back to forums like this and hooked to Ren'Py adlt games (apart from the fap material of course).

Story: Original, thought through, and well executed. The premise of being locked in while there's a doomsday mist hovering around takes care of a lot of things that other highschool/real world adult games have to joust with. But it also comes with fresh challenges, which are thankfully well dealt with by the developer and writer

Gameplay: Pretty good. The hints and the finding things and adventure feel reminds me of non-adult exploration games (the good kind)

Characters: Have some individuality and are not carbon cut-outs in both appearance and personality

Writing: Really good. No grammar issues. Good use of humour and dialogues between characters is true to their personality

Renders and Animation: Amazing


Overall, it's a promising start and there isn't anything that leads me to think that the game might fall short of delivering what it promises. The only hiccup in this game so far has been the MC's personality. Seems like a nice guy, but has a predatory side when it comes to eroticism and arousal, especially the way he makes his advances on Robin. Would be a little less disorienting if we were given a little glimpse into his life or personality. But it wasn't too shocking or deeply ingrained in the story.

The humour is really good. Want to highlight it again!

Everything is great, especially appreciate usage of original looking models.
Though the story gets kinda cringy and edgy when it comes to magic(really? the Chosen Gary Stue One cliche?)
Gameplay is okay, but its a VN not a JRPG, so no point in it

A future major hit. Good character designs. Great gameplay. Looking forward to the future and where this game is going to take us. also this 200 character limit is annoying and now i am just trying to hit the minimum.

A really promising game with more content than you would expect from a 0.3.1 verion.

+ nice game flow, especially the time management while exploring is well done
+ management elements (i hope there will be more in the future)
+ story is interesting (i always liked books and movies with similiar plots) and there seem to be some twists in the future
+ quite contrary to some other opinions, i like it that the MC is not visible, it gives me more the feeling this guy is ME
+ in-game guide

+/- combat system could have been a little more strategic/interesting, but it is still better than like in about 90 % of the games on this site

- the dialogues that lead to sex scenes seem somewhat forced and strange to me, but i've seen worse; in generel i didn't care much for the sex scenes and clicked through them (probably just personal taste)

Wow! This game is outstanding! Was up to 4 AM finishing it. The game-play, animations, music and story are 5/5.

Renders good. Models are serviceable. If Dev had a SubscribeStar, I'd be a donor. Patreon is dead to me.

Honestly amazing. The presentation is godlike compared to most other Ren'py games, sex scenes are nice, the plot is great, the battle system is fine, the exploration feels awesome, the management part is a bit unnecessary but who knows, maybe it'll play a role later on, but really, this is seriously good. Personally I would like to have a bit more fun with the girls but a Ren'py game that isn't broken already hits all the right buttons to me. Will keep a close eye on this for sure.

The game is superb!

-A very captivating story with good writing with an awesome overall concept of the game

-The game has SUPERB depth to it! I really love all the features that get added as you progress in the game and how the map expands as you progress. It was very fun to play with new features and areas opening up as you progress!

-The animations are very well made. Very natural looking movement in the animations. I also personally like the animations themselves.

-There is A LOT of content for version 0.3 of a game. Most games don't have this much even by version 0.10

-Very good User Interface in this game, it doesn't feel clunky like some games of this sort out there. The controls are smooth and well thought out

As far as any negatives, I honestly can't think of any without nitpicking and I don't think this game deserves that. I personally really love this game.

Overall a very well put together game! I hope more people see it and it gets the recognition it deserves.

Good Points
+ We have lots of content for the story, characters, and lewd scenes.
+ We have an interesting art style.
+ We have good animation physics.
+ Story seems interesting and it was good until the curse and MC acting stupid and literally giving Noreia with his actions to the director, etc...
+ Character developments and improving relationships with girls are well-made. We have lots of dramatic, romantic, and lewd scenes.
+ Discovering new places feels pretty good. Every time going to a new place feels like a new adventure and discovering something mysterious.
+ Things are not too grind but not too easy either and it gives a good survival game vibe.
+ That bikini armor reference was interesting and kind of funny.

Bad Points
- We don't have MC's appearance in the first versions of the game and it's weird. We got an appearance for MC with new versions but still, you should be aware. And even with new versions fight animations don't have MC's body. It's like some ghost using those weapons, tools, etc, and it's weird. They are animated and it's good but still looks odd without MC's hands or body. And same goes for some other scenes. Like while fixing wires they are floating in the air.
- Story itself is interesting but a couple of parts of our story make zero sense, are annoying and they were unnecessary. First of all, MC getting cursed was unnecessary and the outcome is annoying and still affecting our game, he had amazing potential, but the writers literally ruined his chance with a nonsense curse thing. Especially learning he has amazing powers like absorbing shadows, but can't do it because of the curse, and have to fight without his powers because if he became powerful enough to ''overflow'' his powers from his ''vessel'' then he will become a shadow and die... Yeah... Writers literally chose this path instead of creating something unique with him, and giving us a great fight between Director and him... What a nonsense... Secondly and most importantly MC acting like an idiot and breaking Noreia's barrier and literally giving her to The Director was soo stupid... So nerfing MC and giving him disability was not good enough and you wanted to nerf Noreia as well by giving her most of the powers to the enemy? Like our character's side was not weak enough? And then we saw them flee from the cabin in the update before the completed update... Seriously?! Long story short good guys (MC and girls, etc) continuously get nerfed and bad guys (Director and monsters) continuously get a power-up, which makes no sense and makes things harder and harder with every new update. The story went very bad direction for our characters and after fleeing from the cabin they start living in a cave, and until the last update direction was pretty clear things gonna end very badly for our characters, but weirdly enough nearly out of nowhere we found Director had weaknesses, and again ironically it's silver... Honestly, all of these make no sense at all
- Our art style is quite unique, but the character's faces and bodies look kind of too glossy and undetailed. I can't say this art style itself is that good for an adult game like this, for sure it's good for survival games with no adult content, but the more you play the more sexual scenes feel unattractive and it's a very bad point for an adult game like this.
- We only have one animation with an image for close-range and long-range weapons. Every close-range weapon has the same knife animation with a knife image while attacking and every long-range weapon have the same riffle animation with a riffle image (Even handgun have riffle animation and image), which makes zero sense. So while fighting with enemies big part of the game we can't say our DEV cares about the most important thing about fights at all.

For The End
There were times I think this game is 5/5 and more than just an adult game, but damn... I can't believe until the end this game kept getting bad points, ruining the unique and great things you created itself over and over again until becoming average at best... Especially ending, was weak and I have to skip a lot of dialogue... Well, at least it's completed and not abandoned...

Great great game. Can't explain enough how much I enjoyed it and the hours I put in it felt worth it

Pros
Played it from the 1st version so had to grind to get everything which now the dev seems to have created an easy mode for so I'm happy for that . Although I still enjoyed the grind for the things which I typically don't.

The story is really compelling and stands out amidst the porn plot. You can enjoy the game simply for its plot. Sometimes it felt so engaging that I sometimes forgot it was even a porn game (though in a good way). So seeing the sex scenes after such engaging story made it feel worth it.

The original art really is great and the improvement in the scenes I've seen over the last few updates has been great and exactly what I had hoped for. The dev really listened to the feedback and improved on the flaws.

Con
The only con that I could think of is the English in the game which sometimes has been wrong grammatically as well as wording wise so I hope the dev improves on that (maybe use a translator for it who knows)

So that is all I've to say about the game, a definite 5 star in my books

Review based on v0.3.

I really like this game. The setting and the plot are intriguing and the graphics look fresh too. Exploration part is done in a nice way and there is not too much grind (just the right amount IMO). Amount of content and pacing are OK, at least if you play on normal mode. Hint system is well done and I was not stuck at any point and didn't need to look for a walk-through.

There's not that much replay value for a second playthrough after the first one has been completed. That's the only downside so far, but it is so minor IMO that I'm not gonna subtract any stars in my rating.

Honestly, I can't wait for future updates.

I completely expected this to be another mediocre demo to blow an hour on or less.

So, so wrong. This was an amazing game.

At first I legit had to double check the engine, because I have never seen scene animation like that in renpy before.

Art 5/5 (For the style used for characters, very good. I think Mia was prettier, as ...blanking on name, blondie had a bit of a cartoonish look to her. Scene art was amazing)

H stuff 4/5 (The only thing I didn't like was the frequency and the typical build up all game to vaginal. That isnt realistic. But that one scene... where she let him... ya. My god.)

Story 4/5 (Only reason it isnt a 5/5 is because it isn't perfection. Pretty good though)
Setting 5/5 (Added this because I feel like this game nailed the mood and feeling of location better than any other game Ive played recently)

Characters 5/5 (While I feel there could have been more dialogue, what dialogue there was, was very good. It was mostly realistic and made for characters I cared about)

Sound 4/5 (Usually sound is the hardest thing to do right in these games. From obnoxious moaning to music that doesnt fit to terrible sound effects... I feel like this game nailed it though. Very fitting music and sounds. Only the sex part wasnt perfect, but it wasnt bad.)

With a slightly altered or added dialogue, this very well couldve ended right here as it is. (obviously missing another important scene though ;] )
I really look forward to coming back to this game after a few updates and seeing if the quality can be kept.

5/5 would recommend.

Edit: Side note... we need some nice sigs. Like one with the two girls sitting in that really well lit living room or something.

One of the best visual novels I've played and I cannot wait for the next updates! Definitely worth checking out, top notch animation and very good character building!

I would play this even without the adult content. The story kept me riveted, the survival mechanics made you think a little bit, but were not overly cumbersome. All of the characters were nicely rendered and had distinct mannerisms that I enjoyed. Nicely done.
