MOBILE: Why is everything genshin impact style?

Why are all the good looking 3d characters in this genshin impact style on mobile devices? Is mobile not ready for something more detailed?

If it is live-rendered, then yes, that's basically the most likely answer. There is a reason a PS5 is bigger than an iPhone... If it is pre-rendered, I would assume it is a matter of taste.
