Kinda both. We are still experimenting with gameplay. You'll definitely see a visual novel with riddles, mini-games, and an exciting scenario. Additionally, it will have elements of a third-person adventure game, where players will solve puzzles and find items.

Currently, we are considering a combat mode where battles take place on scenes that match the environment the player is in. We're thinking of implementing turn-based combat similar to games like Fallout 2 or Heroes.

Okay, you might want to temper expectations. This is not an episode 1, it's a prologue (at best). Don't call it something that will have people expecting more than you're actually delivering, and you'll be less likely to receive harsh criticism.

That aside, I think there may be something lost in translation here? The English dialogue reads a bit weird, and I can't shake the feeling it might be because the Russian included a pun or play on words or slang expression that didn't translate well.

From the preview images in the OP it looks good on the rendering as so far just into Episode 1 for the second build which not really said if it's only a portion of the episode or complete episode with cliffhanger to Episode 2 so the amount of content isn't really presented on gameplay time. On that note I'll watch to see what comes out of the development.
