I'm loving the game so far! Excellent overall. I do have a few suggestions and criticisms to it though. First one, is the lamia movement, it's extremelly jank (it's expected since it's not complete), trying to move in a straight light can be extremelly frustrating. The way to imporve that, I think, would be when you wait in a position, you coil your tail(Like when you do when you ender a tunnel, for example), and when fully coiled, you can do a big horizontal movement.

Combat is just fine, I have nothing against it at all. Though, I'd like having a few more interactions with enemies. Currently, you can trigger a few sex scenes by using certain moves, but some still damage you even when you've embraced the enemy with the lamb transformation, for example, the catgirl blowjob still damages you. It would be cool to just be able to trigger a sex scene with an enemy once they're pacified, and have them not damage you. I would also like a reroll option for the skills once you get a chest, it can be a little frustrating when you're trying to get certain skills.

Some way or organizing your skills would be nice too, limited to the hot springs or the village. Not the whole deck, of course, but maybe like, organize the first ten or so? Could be an interesting iteraction with some transformations. Also, having a menu where you can look at the skills you've seen and what they do exactly would be also cool, and with tips on what unlocks the others. Some explanations on status effects would be good too, such as "what is hypnosis exactly?" or "what does an enemy having three hearts above their head means?". It does feel like this game could use a bestiary of sorts, with some flavor text on the enemies that would also benefit some world buiding. Having the mouse locked in the screen when it's in windowed mode would be convenient too.

Aside from that, great game, looking foward to more updates!

Excellent game made with great care and attention to detail by the dev. Despite not usually being a fan of female protag games, I believe this is one of the best games on this platform, and despite only being on version 0.6.9, it has tremendous potential to become even better.
The art style is endearing, the characters unique and the scenes are great. You can even toggle what content you want to see.

Probably the best game on this website with so much potential. I love the way the characters respond to your transformation and the variety of enemies with multiple forms is great too. I like the rouge like system and I'm excited to discover all of the scenes, I've been discovery new ones so frequently that I've not felt compeled to look them up.

    Tested V0.6.8.5.5.
It's not bad, but not intuitive to play at all, from the skill inventory all the way to just accessing the gallery room (you get teleported to it by clicking on a random rowing boat in the hub area).
I like that you can get different classes and customize your character's appearance through monster girl traits, but it mostly just happens when you lose on purpose. You get new skills through it, but many skills are one-time-use per level, so in the end it doesn't change that much.
The hentai art is okay, but the focus is on the "bimbofication" shtick, which isn't my thing. Primarily just still images and changing portrait art. Longer scenes are simply text on 2dcg.
Still feels like a work-in-progress-game to me.

Ok, there seems to be a lot going on in the reviews.

So this review will be entirely about the game, not development or similar...

So first off, the game is pretty unique, It is a turn based side scroller. Its gameplay revolves around turns, and actions, each turn you can perform 2 type of actions, those that are before the turn, and after the turn. Before the turn, actions are effective immediately and are undodgedable, or uninterruptible. After the turn actions, leave the enemies time to do their before the turn action. It feels different from the normal game, but nothing too outstanding.

What is outstanding thought is the lewd part. It has your usual side scroller things, like grabs and on loose scenes. Where it truly gained for me, is that when you get grab, or lose and get the ending scene, you get corruption. Each race in the game have their own corruption, and when it caps, the character gain a curse with one of their traits. For example, the first enemy in the game is a cat girl, if she grabs you it will go for cunnilingus, and fill 1/3 or your corruption. If it caps you get cat ears, cap again, and you get a tail, again paws, and finally hypnotic beads, if you reach corruption again, it is game over.

Now the interesting part outside of the visual changes, is that your gameplay changes based on the corruption, rams are hypnotic orientated, cat girl movement orientated. Harpies flying, foxes summoning/ debuffing... So changing your gameplay and skills based on your corruption is a superb mechanic, because loosing is a punishment for the player, but you still could want to lose, different to most side scroller where loosing breaks the entire flow of the game.

Another thing, is how you deal with corruption. I pointed out before that if it caps at maximum is game over, so the game allows you to delete corruption by sacrificing crystals. Sure that is nice, nevertheless you could embrace corruption, and evolve the race and skills you are using. For example harpies, you could take your wings and talons off, but if instead you use plunge and egg attacks, it will fill a blue progress bar (different to the purple/pink corruption one). When filled, the character will go from a harpy to a dragon harpy, which increases damage, and massively increase egg explosion range.

So this constant duality of not wanting to lose, but wanting to gain some corruptions, and not reaching game over but wanting a class upgrade is fun. I think there is a nice balance between the options. And since I have not seen this type of gameplay before (maybe there is, just haven't seen it) it gains a lot of originality.

The gender swap turns me off a bit of thought (the mc is a man, reincarnated into a woman) but that is entirely personal opinion.

Overall I was just looking for a side scroller, but found an innovative game tha could become quite the masterpieces if is finished...(like I said I will not talk about development, but there's that)

So, for originality alone is above average(3 stars), and for an interesting integration of lewd things with gameplay, is 5 stars. Let's just hope it doesn't get abandoned and don't take 3 decades to be finished.

The Patreon for this game said it started development back in July 2021. That's 4 years to the time of this review, and there is painfully little to show for it. The game is being made by a solo dev, which some people will see and excuse the glacial pace of content. I am not one of those people.

For frame of reference, in the time it took this dev to get this far, Toby Fox (another solo dev, who at the time didn't have much experience) belted out Undertale (32 month development), changed perspective of indie's by getting mainstream attention, and started working on his next game. Side note, while I acknowledge toby's accomplishments, I'm not personally a fan.

The point stands that for a comparative 4 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT, there isn't much to show for this game. I'd like to give points for the novelity of the combat system, but it's as frustrating as it is unique. It just feels like so much extra work went into slowing the game down, almost like the traditional side scroll combat was eschewed to pad play time. Kind of a reminder that just because something is different doesn't necessarily mean it's better, or even good.

The dev is still putting out updates on a semi-regular basis, so at least there's that. Maybe when I'm ready to retire the game will have enough content to be worth downloading again. But for now, I'd say avoid it, plenty of other choices here with larger and more regular updates.

Good art and the mechanics are unique enough to be interesting, but there isn't much in terms of actual intercourse (just one or two if you enable futa). I feel like the player character could have a penis (maybe as a setting or a trasformation) and the scenes wouldn't need to change much in order for that to work. I am hopeful tho and the game shows promise

It's ok, I feel like this is more of a 3.5 as the bones are decent, there is actual gameplay, artstyle is very good and the content is kinda good? But atm it feels very vague if you're into anything other than transformation, as actual interactions is limited to 1 futa enemy with penetration. Everyone else just like vaguely touches you a little lol

With some more actual content as a consequence of your transformations it'd be interesting, and there's undeniably effort put into the art and the transformations - it just feels like half of the picture and the rest is just not there

Let me preface this by saying that I don't rate games on potential. I find that to be a dishonest and short-sighted way to review games, and it's a major reason for why this website is littered with many highly rated abandonware. However, this game does have extreme potential. It's just being wasted, as what is currently available is a bit of a nothing burger in terms of content and presentation.

The UI isn't bad, but it could definitely use an overhaul. The enemies are fine, but far too few for the length of time this game has been in development. The small amount of animations the game has are bare-bones, and while definitely not the worst, aren't nearly good enough to carry the experience.

Ultimately, the game just doesn't have a whole lot going on at present, but the core gameplay loop of a turn-based platformer is incredibly inspired and executed well. It's such a shame that the game is in a serious content drought.

    v0.6.6.0.2

Yet another game with outstanding potential that ends up being overwhelmingly mid. Clunky and unintuitive controls mixed with a rather egregious lack of content makes for an overall lackluster experience. This game lulls you in much like its Ram waifus, then reveals that you've truly been baited once again into waiting 5 years for the game to hopefully not get abandoned.

This game knows clearly what people are here for and even has lines talking about it, yet it is astoundingly difficult to actually get the content you're here for. Worse still, enemies can only lewd you up once, then they're done. One pump chumps, the lot of them. This means that if you WANT more content to "finish" your session with that one enemy, go fuck yourself. It's either the gallery or bust.

The gameplay being so wonky is not some weird accolade. It's not unplayable, but it's definitely not good. It's just weird. Really, really weird. The idea is clearly there, but the execution is most certainly not.

The lack of content is inexcusable due to reasons that I cannot name, as doing so has a 50/50 chance of getting my review nuked. But there should be more. This game was initially published back in 2021 and has received notable support, yet the number of enemies can be measured on two hands. It has the fun, quirky trait that every dime-a-dozen pixel hentai game on has. It just reuses enemies with "elite" variants, meaning vaguely changed animations. The animations are nice to have, but they're very amateurish.

The ending cutscenes are hot, but blueball you to high hell in most cases unless an actual scenario is what you're after. Half of the game overs are just written sequences with a single image (or 1 image slightly changed a time or two) having you become subservient. Best example: A picture of you blowing a futa fox girl doesn't actually have you blowing her. You're just being told that you're hers, you say you love that, and that's it. You don't get flavor text about sucking her dry like the hoover you've turned into. A let down.

All in all, just another game that should be so much more than it is, but winds up being just...there. I'd say come back in a year, but this was started in 2021, so...I think 5 is genuinely fair. Threw that out there at the start, but after fact checking the release date, now it seems pretty valid.

(Launch date confirmed via Itchio, full date reads as: Published: Jul 20, 2021)
    Always check your facts, brothers.

Not much to really say compared to everyone else who as come before me.
    1. Really good art style that is appealing to the eyes.
    2. Combat takes a minute to get used to but once you know what is going on. You can kind of just free flow with it.
    3. Enjoying the replay abilitiy of it so far, makes we want to see what the other starts look like.
This is all before any of the other WIP stuff is finished, and other systems are not completely implimented. Super looking forward to seeing what this game does down the line.

Oh my goodness this one is fire everything from the artstyle to the gameplay loop is so good and refreshing compared to other games in this platform, its one of those rare games where the gameplay can hold on its own even if there werent any h elements

I usually dont give 5 star reviews but I feel this game really deserves some credit for daring to dream and try to be different,I like alot the art,the unique take on turn based system, the ok music, the animated scenes, dialogue can use some work but its not that bad but the real gem is the transformation system with items on top, sure there isnt that much right now but in the future im sure there will be alot to do and many enemies to defeat! (or surrender to )
The lamp/sheep one is particularly nice.
The interface and how to navigae it and the level system and map layout arent exactly my favorite but hopefully will be fixed in the future.
    Keep going dude!

If the finished version of this game is just the exact same with 2-3x more content, then this'll easily be my favorite game on the site.

While appearing initially unintuitive with a unique turn-based type of platforming, you quickly notice just how good, quick and snappy it feels to play and how well the card-skill mechanics are built around this system. Even though it's just clicking, bizarrely, moving around this game feels really sharp and responsive, and you can slow down for combat to consider your options and distance from the enemies.

Compared to most other platformers on this website, which use a traditional real-time platforming system, I think MonCurse outdoes most of them while probably being easier to code and design around. Making a decent real-time platformer game is extremely difficult; I've seen so many bad animations, janky hitboxes, and wonky jumping, and overall just a lack of mechanical depth when it comes to the gameplay. MonCurse avoids all of these pitfalls by simply never engaging with them, allowing the game to focus on its strengths while standing out as unique and not bloating the scope of the project.

So, yeah, the gameplay is exceptional, and I'd recommend more solo developers consider this approach because it looks like it reduces wordload, has a lower skill floor for development, while offering more potential for its advanced mechanics due to the ease of development, all whilst having that tight pacing that lets the player run across an empty map in mere seconds.

Okay, I haven't even talked about the porn. It's in the niche of monster girl transformations, and it's better than every other game in the genre. It's a perfect combination of the act of transformation and the sexual elements that also show the effects of the transformation, which is the aspect a lot of these games miss out on. Transforming into a catgirl alone is kind of hot, but it's way more hot that the transformation was initiated via sex with another catgirl; then it's even hotter for that transformation to have lasting effects on the main character, such as putting them in heat or making them sluttier; and finally it's even more hot to get a game-over epilogue scene of them applying this same corruption and transformation to another character. And almost every unique transformation that's not in development reaches these levels of depth. It's peak, enough said.

And do I just adore how this game attaches unique abilities and movesets to these transformations too, i.e., the enemy lambs hypnotize you with their kisses, their makeup rubs off on you, your character portrait changes to have that makeup, and you gain hypnotic kisses too. MonCurse just goes above and beyond on its premise, incorporating the h-elements straight back into its gameplay.

Can't wait to see what the next updates hold in the store; the new Werewolf and Harpy are great so far.

Currently WIP and buggy but one of the most appealing art styles in porn ever.

This game perfectly caters to the yuri and futa/fem corruption and TF crowd, and I couldn't be happier except with pregnancy which is planned.

The game, so far, is perfect mix of gameplay and smut. Fights are interesting enough and some moves always cose small h-scenes to appear, the scenes all in all, really Hot. Plot is... Pkay, for now it is here, not much to say about it, but looks promising enough. But it is not all, the thing than charmed me was grafics and art. It is Perfect. I cant really describe it, u need to pay, but it is really good.

Very fun little romp, only about a couple hours before you unlock all the content in the current build, but what is there is good. Gameplay is fun, and finding all the little transformations is as well. The art, encounters, and bad ends are really hot. I could see this game being a real hit once it gets a bit further along in it's development with more content and more monster types.

The plot is OK, a bit hard to follow at times, but who plays these things for the plot anyways.

This game is simply terrible, even though it tries to be unique it's far from being good.
It is as far as my understanding mouse focused however anything barely even makes sense in the controls, i thought i understood the game once i completed the tutorial but as soon as i started the first missions the problem rised.
The way the hitting mechanic works just doesn't work, enemies can simply jump hit and run away and there is nothing you can do if you don't have the weapon which you only have one, and if you find more enemies well you gotta have more weapons, you are not allowed to attack unless they sit in a precise spot.
I could say the artwork is nice and same goes to the few animations i saw but i'm not rating a game based on artworks if the gameplay simply isn't good.
It's completely random, not fun and not engaging.
The transformations which is one of the core features of this game are also completely random, i got morphed multiple times without any prompt of why, how and when, before i knew i turned into a monstergirl with absolutely no counter play.
So basically at the end it has undodgeable attacks, undodgeable transformations, poor tutorial and bad controls, a completely messy UI with huge boxes and little texts making everything a migraine to look at.

The artworks and dialogues are ok, however this is a game with turn based combat mechanics in it, if it was a VN i could've counted artworks as point values but as it stands the good artworks mean zero if the core gameplay is confusing, bad and extremely no sense.

It's a turn based platformer is the best I can describe it. Pretty intersting and relativly unique combat almost akin to Pokemon Dungeon but with an ever changing deck of cards and a basic attack instead of four moves and a basic attack. Overall pretty fun gameplay with some nicely made images.
