RPGM - MonGirl Conquest [v0.6] [Yeehaw Games]

The game play is straightforward without being so repetitive that it becomes grindy. The seduction battle mechanics are a little obtuse at first, but once you figure out how they function it isn't too bad. I definitely recommend saving before entering a seduction battle whenever possible, because otherwise finding girls enough times to figure out how to seduce them could easily become a grind if you get unlucky.

The biggest reason why I'm only giving it two stars despite the good art and decent gameplay is that the sex scenes are too limited right now. You have different text options during sex, but they don't do anything. If you gave visual representation to things like fondling a girls boobs, kissing her, or even wrapping the first frog girl's tongue around your cock, then the game would be vastly more fappable. If such changes were implemented I would definitely want to raise my rating.

To be honest, I like the repeated scenes and I hope it will be available for every monster girl soon. I don't tend to play a lot of RPGM but this one hits differently with a new way of exploring. There are still many bugs present and I hope this game continues to improve.

If it is close to full release, I doubt things will be ironed out by then and dev will just slowly update scenes over the years since this is common practice. Also wanted to try this on Android as well and it's hella not playable and a buggy mess. I literally get stuck on Catrina quest as the scene repeats endlessly.

Great animations, even as the development is underway. Can have combat or non-combat interactions with Monster Girls. It has the right difficulty that requires some thought, but not an enigmatic approach. Worth playing!

Being built on the RPGM engine allows a lot of exploration in the world, the way you encounter the girls in the wild is pretty cool. The models are fantastic, I love all of them so far. The scenes are very limited at the moment, certain girls have certain positions available to them but I guess that's expected since the game is in its early stages right now. Looking forward to future updates and seeing how it plays out. One thing I saw from the developer in the thread was that there's not gonna be any pregnancy content, which is mildly upsetting considering where you could go with it and the lovely art.

My taste might have been distored due to the nightmare that is finding good RPGM games. This game is quick to pick up and play and will deliver enough H content to offset the grind.

Gameplay: You just pick a location to explore, which direction on the path you take, and you keep at it till either you lose or you reach the end. Along the way you can fight and seduce monsters, with about three scenes each for them to show you. I sort feel the send to camp option is redundant, since they show up there so long as you seduce them. They also lack a variety of scences to justifie what time you might save with this option, since knocking them out is faster if you just want to avoid girls you already have. The passive income comes from the bar, and you can set two girls to work, there seems to be no hidden combination so just pick the girl that gives most income for each slot.

H content: Is very well done motion tween that keeps the quality of the artwork. I only noticed one of the girl having text appear as you fuck them, and the lines were serviceable. Moans are the right volume and give it that extra spice it needs.

Conclusion for version v0.2.8: This is way better than I expected. Since most rpg maker games that use basic tile sets with only decent art for the girls often fall for the worst pitfalls of the engine. The game has a simple concept, quick execution and great fundation to build upon. I do worry there is a lack of balance, as the player will quickly outpace the ingame challange. Unless a more broad selection of areas are implemented to keep the player's stats in check. I also do not know how good the late game will become, since once you seen the same scene twice or thrice it will lose is appeal and the grind will rear its ugly head. I do judge this a good game, with a cut above gameplay compared to similar titles on the same engine. I recommend you play this one to completion.

It's serviceable, but the H-scenes are all duplicates. There's other far better games in RPGM which much higher quality H-scenes.

This game has gotten sooo much better over time. Love the variety, wish there were more cowgirl scenes for each girl and also wishing for more scenes in general. Great game will probably play it forever

The art is good, the animations are good. But like...there's basically nothing of substance here. The actual gameplay isn't "bad" per se but it is pretty shallow. There isn't really any story to speak of. Even the sex scenes, while being artistically and technically impressive, lack any sort of context or interesting writing or anything to make them feel particularly compelling.

The animations are great. The game mechanics i like too. But it's still need more animations with girl, there are still only blowjob and doggy. And few scenes outside fights. The progression is light and pleasant.

The fact that its voiced is great. the fact that its animated is even better. the gameplay is quite simple, but i don't mind. I'm one of those guys that isn't in it for the gameplay, if you know what I mean.

Gameplay doesn’t matter much if it’s a visual novel type of game. But this is a freaking roguelike, where gameplay is almost as important as the porn itself. And let me say, it’s beyond repetitive. There’s no skill tree, no builds to experiment with—you just find a skill that’s effective and spam it. You repeat this on every single enemy. I was hoping the developer would spice it up eventually, but after a year, nothing has changed. Why? Because the developer has no incentive to change it, citing “people complain about complex combat.”

You don’t need to make it complex; you can keep it simple yet less repetitive. There are thousands of ways to do this (make it card based, each run slightly changes your stats/skills,etc.). I don’t buy this excuse since there are games like Monster Girl Dreams with a complex combat system (at least in this genre) that are still well received.

The writing is not great but passable. The art is decent, though the animation assets are rehashed quite a lot. Overall, it’s still savable. I hope for the best.

Edit: Changed to one star. The dev shows no sign of improving the gameplay. At that point you are better of just getting the gallery.

Overall - 4/10 - Repetitive, same sex scenes over and over again mashing attack over and over again going through the same areas over and over again. The mon-girls are all just sexy women wearing cosplay accessories. It's a very early concept of a game and needs a lot of polish but has good potential.

Gameplay - 3/10 - Explore a dungeon-esq area with three paths filed with mini islands each island has either a resource / monster / minipuzzle or game / a boost / or recovery item. All the while building a town with captured waifus putting them to work. This needs more either events/quests in town better interactions etc. The battle/capture mechanics need more depth as well.

Writing - 3/10 - Needs a lot of help with sex scene and event writing. Girls feel bland and they need to have more of a personality 2/10 - Remove the "choices" feature and write actual sex scenes.

Artwork - 6/10 - The static art for the girls is good quality I'd like to see more "monster-esq" girls rather than the "cosplay accessory wearing" style. The girls also need their sprites placed into the explore area rather than a blue or red flame. That just feels like a dumb decision to not be able to see them there.

Animations - 4/10 - Yeah you can say its fully animated but when there's literally only 2 poses to choose from while clicking a few dialog choices that don't actually do anything it gets a bit old.

It's animated...I guess. That's it's claim to fame. The art is nice. Not the best, but above average. That's the end of what's good. You know you're in for some painful asset fatigue when the first two girls you see, one of which is common and one of which is """"rare"""", have the EXACT same scene.

The "battle fuck" mechanic is just selecting what attack to use while the image stays the same, at least for the first 2 girls, and the sex scenes are actually just the same animation sped up. It at least gets point for having you cum in them, not just flash the screen white.

But then there's the dumb fuck """choices""" you can make during the sex scene. They change nothing. The game gives you 4 options, ranging from "Giddy up!" to "Caress her ass". They do literally nothing other than speed the scene up. The worst part is that some of them make you think it will keep the scene going instead of end it, but no, even "Fuck her prone" equates to the same choice as "Cum in her ass". Why? Because the scenes are linear 3 stage flash styled sex animations with slow, medium, and fast where you cum at the end. Why even bother with the fake choices? Never in my life have I been MORE aroused after seeing "Giddy up!" as a choice in a sex scene. Just have something that says "next". The idea is at least nice on the surface, but seems deeply insulting and superficial the second you realize that it all means fuck all.

Bland, generic, just find the code for the gallery. That's what this is more than anything. A scene viewer with extra very unintuitive steps.

It seems to be alright but its very early so its really to soon to tell for sure.
MC starts out as a monter wrangler where he has to catch monster girls and then again not really, hes not capturing them but you still have a counter for each type of girl MC has "captured" you can put two of them to work at the bar which makes you a little money.

Then MC becomes the leader of the town and has to deal with monster girls and town stuff like building it up and get a house of hes own and so on, its all pretty nice really and gives a bit of an rpg feeling.

For now there just isent much, shops has only a few items and you run out of content pretty fast.

My biggest issue is that its yet another game where main focus is on big tits instend of having a good diversity girls are proberly 90% bimbos.

Next issue is the sex scenes, theres only a single one doggy style and then theres a single BJ scene thats it, so no matter what girl all sex scenes are the same and they are boring and feels empty and when you have seen one you have seen them all which just isent good enough.

Its also pretty much just a mindless fuckfest game, theres no romance or relationship build-up, you just run around catch girl fuck em or not and add a few easy puzzles in dungons and thats the hole game, so it just feels a bit bland.

I would say art is proberly a 4 but with the lack of diversity in builds its a most a 3, but art is great and theres a quite a few diffrent monster girls.

The animation looks pretty decent but they are short and boring and only has 2 diffrent scenes so this area needs alot of improvement.

There arent really any atleast not yet, think of it as a kinetic novel hidden behind a sandbox where theres no real freedom and you just follow a forced questline making it all linear.

It could have the potential to become really good, but it would need alot of work.

Let's keep this short and sweet; the game is repetitive, devoid of any meaningful interaction and emotion, and ultimately its bogged down by its engine.

Basically speaking, the moment you see rpgm you know what youre gonna get. Its gonna be top down with jank animation and thats about it. The game boast a few different girls to get your attention but the fucking is pretty much the same, same choices with same animation. So what indeed really separates between a cat girl and a milf dog? Fuck if I know because they both behave the same if not very similar to one another.

Disappointing, because the premise is interesting. Catch girls via combat, and build a harem with rpg elements. But the execution is terrible. If you want the same premise, built upon a solid game then play strive for power, an actual game that allows you to catch girls, break and integrate them into your harem. It doesnt have the overt sexual elements or animation but somehow still manages to feels superior to this game.

The art is great, but the scenes are disappointing. The majority of scenes are in the exact same doggy style or BJ pose. It would be nice to get more variety in the future.

This game has potential, but as of right now, it's an alright monster girl RPGM game.

Really liked this game, progress is good and well made with not too much grind at all, story is decent, animations and voice effects are really good, the only thing i can complain is that all girls have the same body type in the animations, i personally dont care if almost all scene animations have the same pov angle, but it would be more enjoyable if every girl had like a bigger butt than the others for example, players would be more interested to play more if they knew that they can find a girl with the body type of their own preferences, adding more personality to the characters and keep players more engaged, i mean, character design is already good, but i think the animations lack in this area, for me at least.

Gameplay in simple but original and fun, there is regularly updates and they are getting better and better and actually add things to the game. Storyline is what you could expect from an adult game but dialogs are fun and actually enjoyable to read, and not super long. Game is diversifying itself more and more and is really enjoyable to play. There is a little farming, but nothing annoying. Dev also listens to the community and make regular polls. Overall, nice promising game. Gained my financial support (which is rare) and I'm looking for more. Good luck to the dev.

Very impressive so far, the game feels polished with no bugs, and the artwork/animations are gorgeous. I like the semi-randomness of the exploration mode, feels almost like a roguelike, although it did get a bit repetitive after a while. Excited to see where this goes!
