Azure Blaze seems pretty good. Plappening has maybe a few good things but overall it's so utterly jarring having the MC's personality distort so massively in a couple of scenes that I simply avoid the majority of them, immersion breaking and also makes him out to be kind of a jackass (e.g. Shizu one) that's trying way too hard to be a typical arrogant asshole hentai man.

Cannot disagree with you on some of the MC's personality changes in Plappening, I'm not a fan of some of them either, I'm into that one to see more love toward some underappreciated ladies, and for the additional breeding-type content. I would love to see the dev put more direct breeding content in this (i.e., one or more of the elves you've "encountered" finds you in the inn, bellies growing with new life, and they decide to "remind" you of your "place").

Azure Blaze - I LOVE Beris. I want Beris as my wife and the mother of my children. There is no such thing as too much Beris for me. So, yeah, that's kinda a gimme for me.

It's not a bad thing, I just don't have much interest in it, and combined with her thing being that she wants a 'pet' it currently just makes her bootleg Venefica without the little bits of cuteness that make Venefica more than just 'powerful dommy lady'. Which is a shame because her design is awesome, and her personality is different enough, she just has the same role in scenes.

Think of it, highly eelegant, obessed with tea, most magically skilled (which in fantasy fiction is often attributed to nobles) and has a minimum amount of bratty to her.
I too agree with you though that she's incredibly wasted. The extreme rejection of sex aside, her being a part of the pet kink is just very disappointing coming from a maledom enjoyer, and knowing thresh it's unlikely ushris will be changed into a switch much less a sub. So we can only lament in our own bad luck.

All the girls are pretty good so everyone decently likes every girl they come across. It feels strange when a girl just feels explicitly unappealing either emotionally or sexually, so the fans don't know how to handle it when it happens.

But like... just imagine coming across all the hideous monstrosities in MGQ, or the futas in anything Fenoxo/Savin.
It's fine if not every girl is appealing to you.

Just chiming in, I don't care for Ushris sexually, but I wouldn't change anything about her. I still enjoy the lore and tone of talking to her and wouldn't mind if she got a lot more content I don't care about. It'd be fine if she got a long dating progressing with more vanilla/vaginal content at the end, as long as it's character driven. The fact that MGD is so character-driven is part of what makes it good. Games where every girl has a blowjob, anal, and footjob scene are worse for it, because there's no difference between the characters and nothing means anything.

Yes, and the parts which offer the most striking pieces of that are things like the cute drawings in her journal or how genuinely over the moon and happy she is when you eat her chocolate bar and like it, they let you see the personality that is behind the stoic mask and are the most significant divergences from her regular loner personality. Calling them 'itty bitty' is ridiculous. Not that her normal attitude is fake, but it lets you see what more is there. Ushris has somewhat of a divergence from venefica being more of a posh lady than a kuudere but it's natural to draw comparisons when both of the Witch girls want a 'pet,' except Ushris has nothing yet hidden to be seen and generally just has less stuff.

Actually, the thing I like the most aout MGD is that all of the dommy girls also have moments of humility or self reflection where they apologize and get embarassed if they think they've gone too far. Manticore's romance for instance is very cute. Venefica and Amber too, after some of their initial scenes will apologize but then be happy if you tell them you liked it. But the best example is Kotone, which does require you to take the option to break down crying, but her genuine remorse about what she did is actually what gave me the in-universe justification to go 'okay we can still have a real relationship here, there's something more to you than a domineering hypnolady.'

I don't know if the monstrosities in MGQ were meant to be appealing to the majority of people who played the game. MGQ isn't good as a porn game, but it is good as a story. They were loss scenes that were actually things you didn't want to get a lot of the time.

Well put another way if the monstrosities were considered to be appealing by the makers of the game then we wouldn't have had Alice and her 4 generals all being much more traditionally hot.

That being said these other things also have a lot more characters than MGD. If half of them were majorly unappealing you'd have a pretty big problem.

Also it is literally part of the game's lore that the island's enchantment prevents you from even recognizing the existence of people you don't have any compatibility with.

Have just returned to this game after a long hiatus and got some questions...

1) The change log mentioned there is an adventure sequence with the red jelly to recruit some ghosts but I couldn't find the trigger... any suggestions?

2) About the Rut condition, which is granted by the blue skin demon in the bar at night. Is it by chance or anything? I ran the scene 3 times and still nothing... and got literally cock blocked for the scene in the downtown shop.
