She's vulnerable to Ass and (iirc) Magic (Analyze will tell you more), so spam her with those attacks. When you get to 50-75% slimed (your choice), use Teleport to get clear. She's a pain in the butt but hardly unbeatable.

Have just returned to this game after a long hiatus and got some questions...

1) The change log mentioned there is an adventure sequence with the red jelly to recruit some ghosts but I couldn't find the trigger... any suggestions?

2) About the Rut condition, which is granted by the blue skin demon in the bar at night. Is it by chance or anything? I ran the scene 3 times and still nothing... and got literally cock blocked for the scene in the downtown shop.

Yeah, I'm stuck on the Rut condition too... as for the Sleim Vllge quests, go to Perpetua's house and ask about recruitment, you can start the quest then. They're fun and not hard, and give you more ladies to visit in the Vllge.

It's not a bad thing, I just don't have much interest in it, and combined with her thing being that she wants a 'pet' it currently just makes her bootleg Venefica without the little bits of cuteness that make Venefica more than just 'powerful dommy lady'. Which is a shame because her design is awesome, and her personality is different enough, she just has the same role in scenes.

There is a mod that gives urshris more scenes but it's kinda noncon

Probably an unpopular opinion here but I sorta dropped out when dev just starting to spend upwards of a year updating random characters that i have a hard time believing are worth sidetracking the actual game for. Venefica being the sole focus of this game for like a year straight was a rough period, especially if you were someone who just doesn't like her. Even more so with how infrequent updates have become compared to early on.

Has this stuff been toned down at all lately, or are we still in a position of infrequent zone/region updates but X character gets 4 new scenes every version because the writers discovered a new fetish?

Also noticed they apparently started adding CG scenes, which seems to be a weird choice for a text-based game. Limits the imagination if you just have a picture of what's happening.

The inn succ from the forest got focus for a few months. We're at the capital, but only the front gate, which is about where we were around the time the Venefica stuff was finally done. Believe it or not, it's basically glacial. I forgot if Hellhounds were before or after Venefica, but the most we've had is font gate, consensual scenes, a few new shops, a boss fight, a side quest that amounts to "we visual novel now" and, most recently, an alleyway fight.

One might say that's a ton of content, but contextualizing it is also important. That's 2 fights, tons of cg updates, some sex scenes, and a major focus on a piece of older content maybe a few people engaged with, but was ultimately irrelevant. Oh, and Venefica will allegedly have endgame relevance. Same with Perpetua, the red slime that is effectively a joke character.

Coincidentally, the boss fight at the front gate to the capital is Perpetua due to shenanigans.

Wait... doesn't the game only show the CG when what's being described is being shown? It goes back to standing pictures, when the scene changes.

The Imps get domination lossed in that one, so the CG starts with showing them leading, and when the player reverses it on them and fucks them into the ground it goes back to their standing pics.
Now that I think about it, it's kinda surprising that Imps are the only ones to get domination lossed in a loss scene. If the protag still has enough energy to dom them even after losing, then I'd think Kyra, Bubble Slime, and the other subs would enjoy that.

Either way though, I don't quite understand this complaint.

Perpetua's fun to interact with because it feels like hanging out with friends.

Venefica has a ton of fun small interactions though. Sadly it never actually feels very intimate with Ven? It either feels like a business transaction or horny. No middleground.

That being said, a lot of Ven's scenes are incredibly well written, and her stealth mission was really fun.

i think it was a giant misstep to show the player character in CGs tbh, it totally takes me out of it to get white guy jumpscared. the hypno overlays and perpetua's boobs do a much better job of working with the limits of the medium also the slime's face is creepy in her cg

You can change the "white guy" to a silhouette of a color of your choosing in the options. Edit: apparently you can also color the non-silhouette as well.

There's some minor things. For example, if you get in situation where a imp is face riding but there's no imp on your dick, the face riding imp can start giving a blowjob at the same time but the CG won't reflect that. Ancilla's relaxation service explicitly states she faces away from you but the CG doesn't reflect this. There's probably more like this, I think bed-chan has something, these are just the ones off the top of my head.

As someone said in either this thread or another, anything that gets big enough and lasts long enough inevitably turns into a paypig bacon harvesting operation with the absolute bare minimum (or even sub-minimum) development. For something like this which doesn't need new art and is also relatively easy to code (in terms of adding story content) there's not really much excuse. There's the Elena's Boyfriend idea that seems like it would have been around since basically the conception of the game, with multiple characters hinting you should get with her, yet for some reason all she has is a single drunk bar scene.

I feel like, eventually, (emphasis definitely on eventually,) Venefica will have something more like a proper romance. The fact that the only one of her candies that is supposedly effective on her is the 'lovey dovey romance' one is, I think, quite telling. Elly even notes it as being a bit odd that one works but none of the others do. So the natural conclusion is she's either acting or she's consciously or subconsciously made herself vulnerable to its effects. Combined with her little cute aspects and how she acts like an overexcited young girl sometimes, and also gets genuinely embarassed by it, I reckon it's somewhat obvious that she wants romance. She's especially ticked off at the elves treating them like love potions, too. Which yeah, disrespcting her work and all, but I think there's a little more. What specifically it is that is holding her back, who knows. Could be her own wildness when she gets into something and no one can handle it, could be that she feels no one is worthy, could even be that she's just straight up a shirking violet and is too embarassed. There's the petplay fetish of course and she is naturally pretty dommy but ultimately I also reckon she's got fairy tale princess fantasies rocking about somewhere in there, just need to draw them out. (Well not literally princess stuff but some witchy equivalent.) When the player can in-universe be considered to have somewhat comparable power rather than a superboss spar that's sort of semi-canon (probably after the fourth guardian which... Lol we're never getting there anyway) I think you'll be able to sweep her off her feet.

That being said it's all just conjecture, and it may have just been accidental or throwaway lines, but the pieces hinting at and justifying a more intimate romance do exist within what is in the game when taken at face value. Whether or not they actually intend to ever write it? Who knows.

I only started this game in December so I'm not sure if the pace is slow, but it was enjoyable reading different scenes the first time. I agree monsters and getting the plot moving are important, but surely that means future characters who could have a story like Kotone would lack those scenes and be criticized as "lacking" until they go about updating it.

I get these devs usually have a type, but it's always a shame when they eventually devolve into every character kinda feeling samey.

I hate to disparage Threshold because he is trying to pace himself, but it has started to feel like that is the case. The most activity this thread sees is generally discussions about the lore, theorizing, or posts where people complain about the lack of new content that advances the map. I don't want to harp too much on this, either. I've said this same stuff exhaustively, even went to the man himself and talked about it at length. The best option is just for those who are fed up with a lack of new content regarding progression to step away for a while.

Nah, the milf form is purely a boss fight with no scenes. I think it's meant tobe like 'what if Perpetua attained her demon queen dream'. Her real form and personality stays the same cute and peppy after when you go visit her house.

But also what the fuck are you talking about. Feng, Tabitha, Amber, Trisha, Ancilla, Mika, Vili, Manticore, Nara, Shizu, Oni Sisters, Beris, Ushris, none of these are even vaguely milfy, the game actually has very FEW 'MILF' characters unless you just mean 'have big breasts.'
