I wanted to rate 3.5, but if I am to choose between 3 and 4 I lean to 4 on account of this game living up to its potential (I played v. 27.2 Alpha)
I want to start with upsides: this game is pretty great at the role playing aspect, writing is also really good and world building is consistent from what I've seen. I also appreciated the visuals and the jokes are very good.
When I first tried it out I was enamored by the world and really would have loved to see the full version.
On the downsides. The way combat and specifically some of the boss and later game fights work - they give the enemy advantage in the way that makes these fights very annoying and tedious to do and this design holds consistent from what I've seen, unless you hold the stats advantage which isn't an interesting way to design fights and encourages quitting the game (which was exactly why I did) more than it makes for an incentive to grind for stats. Perks seem to not be very well balanced because generally skills are poorly balanced.
Some of the fetish content is not going to be for everyone as well as the way romance work and at various encounters I wished for more options of interacting with npc, specifically "event perk-related" as these are super binary (you are either total overpowered dominator or submissive wuss, nothing in between and I resonate with neither extreme, but be warned if you're sensitive to this sort of thing if you're stepping into some quest that doesn't look clearly dominant on your part - it's probably gonna be submission content, especially if you don't regularly grind for xp)
Some enemies seemed ridiculously overpowered to me (eg mimics that you can technically choose starting from the second map, but you need to be very strong even to be able to run away from them and beating one seems similar in difficulty to the final boss of the second dungeon or actually even worse in a few ways. There's a decent chance some of these are gonna be addressed, given how the game is still in development
