Reason for this tread:
I am thinking of making a monster girl game. It will be much more simple than my main game. I think it could drive additional traffic to my content. I tested the concept in rpg maker and it works and it will be easy enough to finish. The animations will be the only bigger time investment. What I want to know is what you would add or change about it. I have not made monster girl content before.
Game intro:
You are a scientist who is tasked or simply choses to create monster girls. You are in a lab with a machine in which you can insert DNA and Milk to produce a specimen. You start with enough to produce your first specimen.
Game mechanics:
You can add DNA in the machine a maximum of 20 times. The more you add the more it will require but you unlock new mutations and increase the chance to get them.
In order to produce something with the machine you need a minimum of DNA and Milk. This guarantees that you get a human. To get something closer to a monster girl or a monster girl you will need to add more DNA or even better MDNA (monster DNA) and MMilk(monster Milk).
The specimens you can produce are Human (basically a failure), Mutation Lv1 (human with some monster features), Mutation L2(something between human and monster girl), Monster girl and Special(this a rule34 monster girl ex: Loona from hell uva boss)
All specimens except for Special come with randomized traits like personality (shy, loving, cold), body types (slim, thicc), virginity status(they are always virgins when created but can become non virgins and even pregnant ). One non randomized trait that is determined by you at the start is the species(beast, fish, bird, reptile)
All these traits affect the way they look to keep things fresh and they also affect how good they are for different machines that you put them in. These machines produce the DNA and Milk that you need. By upgrading the machines you increase the quantity of DNA/ Milk that you get and the possibility of getting MDNA and MMilk. To upgrade these machines you will need money.
The loop:
You create a specimen, put it in a machine to generate more resources that you need to create even better specimens. You also need money to buy more DNA/Milk extraction machines for the specimens and to upgrade the machines you have. Go to "Make money for upgrades". I'm not yet sure about how to make the money.
The gameplay:
-change the places of the specimens you have in machines to make as much DNA and Milk per second as you can
-produce better specimens to replace previous ones
-look at the specimens while they are in machines to see different sex scenes. You can also chose to have sex with any of them.
-make sure the specimens are happy. Happiness doubles the production of a specimen. To keep them happy they need food, walks outside to pee and sex. So you have to go to the specimens from time to time, take them out of the machine, take them to the breed room or outside and then put them back in. Happiness doesn't decrease very fast so it doesn't become tedious.
-chose your strategy, decide what upgrades take priority over others
-you can't lose so you can juts roleplay and treat the lab as your harem of many different monster girls
Make money for upgrades:
I'm not 100% sure about this. Here are a few ideas:
-the first idea I had is that there are orders that change at certain times. They ask for certain traits. Higher paid orders ask for more traits. You have storage rooms to keep your specimens in so you can have a few different ones ready to have a higher chance of having the right one for a high paying order.
-second idea is you don't sell monster girls. Maybe you just release the ones you don't want anymore into the wild. The way you make money is more like a farming/cooking game. You use the products from monster girls (ex: milk from beast/ egg from bird) to fulfill orders or to cook foods that you need to fulfill orders.
-3rd idea is all of the above
-4th is you use the specimens as cum dumps for clients. They can pay more for specimens with higher lvl mutations. Your objective is to create a monster girl brothel through science at that point. You would also have the option to keep some specimens only for yourself.
