So, did you really play it or are you just in automatic hatred mode now?
You can't possibly say the office flashback didn't take at very least as long as a lewd scene. Considering new map and characters.

The scene itself? No. If you factor everything else in, maybe, but that's the only one that I would consider taking anywhere near as long as an actual scene. None of the others you added in the year+ vacation took anywhere near as long.

Faranne's workout scene?
Chumumi's spying scene?
Adeline scene remake?
Faranne teaching you how to ride her wolf?
Ophelia's dance scene?
Dinner scene?
And I could go on and on. Need to backpedal more?

No? Hence the "If you factor everything else in" aka world building. Again if its the posing for a H-scene and a normal scene the previous will take longer.
False, Faranne's workout has more animation clips than any lewd scene.
You just want me to work exclusively in H-scenes, fair. Can't possibly do that anymore though.

I just want more then zero H-scene in a whole year. I mean after you finished the "Prologue" instead of actually adding more H-scenes after a year you spend 3 months on a rather pointless scene.
And I won't be adding more for a while either, I need context for lewd scenes, I still have to work my way through the plot to get to the point in the story where Fuyuko's scene happens, as I said, this is probably not gonna be a game for you, but that's not an excuse for undermining my work.

No, in fact every player does get to decide that for themselves.
And so they have. And given how it has been received on steam, and how well his patreon seems to be doing, I'd say you are in the minority, or as Redamz has put it: not the target audience.

Once/if they understand the game is going nowhere they'll sing a different tune. Most of them don't know the history.

This is true, most of the users on steam playing the game are unaware of the projects history. There is only a small margin of users that are aware of it's history on those forums. I give it like 2 months and the steam forum will prob be dead.

Not gonna lie, there are plenty of games where the focus is on the sex and they cut to it quick. Sometimes hilariously jumping to a conclusion for the sake of sex. Now that I'm older, context is a lot more important to me. I like the pot of porn at the end of the rainbow and as long as the carrot on the end of the stick is worth it and satisfying to achieve, I'm having a good time.
That being said, any writer for any genre or purpose can sometimes get stuck on 'context' and bog down the pacing/gameplay. Not saying this is necessarily a problem in this case, but it's something that every writer has to be careful of. Over-explaining, too much exposition, ham-fisted plot is all too easy rather than a 'less is more' approach and trusting the reader/player to metabolize the story themselves.
At the end of the day, if the development time-frame is less than optimal then continue to not support the patreon because you're on f95zone; you're not supporting it anyway. Why be angry if he's not using your dollar? And if he is, he's pretty clear on the home page about what's he's doing and updates as needed. I didn't say fast, I said as needed.
I feel sympathetic as a contractor in a creative space. When clients get flabbergasted when they ask for something the next day, and I have to correct them that I need three days. "What? All you have to do is draw a little picture." It's never that easy. Ever. Research, brainstorming, concepting, sketching, thumbnails, thumbnails, thumbnails, revision, new ideas, incorporate, what's working? What's not? Sample and draft, sample and draft, sample and draft. Making a game is tough; it's mentally exhausting and sometimes you do have to get away for a while to come back with fresh eyes. This game only survives if Redamz isn't sick and tired of looking at this game he's been working on for the past few years.
You don't try to guilt a lawyer or a doctor for having a vacation, so why don't artists get time for themselves. I don't know if there was actually a vacation on Redamz's part, I just don't see why that would be a big deal. Certainly abusing his patron's would be different, but patreon can be fickle as fuck and he's had a strong base for years now. Normally you can see the ripple's in the numbers. The game IS bigger than a year ago, and it doesn't feel like fluff or pointless.
Anyway, I'm all over the place so I'll stop typing now.
