Unreal Engine - Abandoned - Monster Layer [v0.0.1] [Monster Layer]

Over two years after this was abandoned with zero content created apart from a basic - not even demo - walking 3d showcase, at first I was hesitant to bash the obvious "flare" that was being given to this "project" because of all the sparkly forum users simping for this, maybe this was the 1 in a thousand, I hoped.
But sadly, but far from surprisingly, this is just another cautionary tale for the hopeful fools that still blindly support vaporware to learn:
the prettier, the flashier, the more ambitious and bolder claims these "devs" make, the more likely it is a scam.

A shame it still had such a high rating for basically nothing but empty claims and promises of a "demo" that never came.

The artwork looks great, really want to see how it will look in the game. Frustrating that in the game itself you can only walk and jump. Liked this wonderful green woman. I'll wait until she is added to the game.

The build posted is actually the movement feedback demo from discord intended to get feedback from their community. An actual game build will be released in the next few months and will properly showcase the game. The op who posted this is not connected with the devs in any way and the real devs are active on their discord. MonsterLayer is the real head Dev.

This is only the movement feedback demo but the devs are really active on their discord and are showing great progress and they respond really well to feedback. I'm looking forward to the first full demo build which is coming soon and then the full game withing the next few years.
