VN - Ren'Py - Moonripple Lake [v0.4.1] [BCG]

Had let this one pass me by but having played the 0.4.1 version I thought I would write a review.

Firstly, it has elements of NTR which for some is a no no, but the NTR here is consensual and more in the sharing - joy style rather than the cheating-nihilistic vein. But if that is not your thing you probably won't be into the game.

NTR out of the way the writing is excellent - with a plot and everything. There is just the right amount of build in the story. You are not straight into having sex with everyone but you don't have a four hour set up either.

The mc is believable (in a porn game setting), the girls are distinct, the AI CG excellent and the scenes hot.

Strongly recomended.

About the best visual novel I have seen

The hand-drawn art is gorgeous, with natural lighting and expressions that really sell the emotional beats. Erotic scenes feel earned and deeply connected to character development—not just fan service.

One of the best. Fantastic writing that keeps you engaged with the action. Incredibly hot scenarios that make the characters seem believable. Very sexy art. Highly recommended for all fans of exhibitionism, cuckolding, hotwifing, partner swapping, and corruption.

The good kind of AI CG slop. The art is consistent and high quality, there's decent diversity. I appreciate that when in doubt the dev went with MORE images rather than LESS. You could skip all the text (which i don't really recommend), and still be able to follow what's going on because of how well the images convey narrative flow. That requires creative direction and vision, not just image generation, so kudos to the dev for that.

It's kind of a rough start (and why I didn't review this earlier). right off the bat there's a lot of cliche NTR/NTS stuff, but as the game progresses the dev finds his voice and starts guiding the story more, and it gets better. The sandbox doesn't bring a lot to the table, but if the latest update is any indication there's more of a linear VN tone (which is good).

This is so good. The story is only just starting to unfold, but Moonripple Lake already sets a standard for how sharing games should be done right.

Our couple - as a couple - is always in focus and the dialogues and interactions between them alone or together with other characters creates some of the hottest scenes I have seen or read in this type of games.

The AI generated graphics are excellent and animations are done well – specially the focus on eye movements is top notch.

Scenes in general are long and sufficiently fleshed out – including the steaming hot sex scenes.

This is definitely among my absolute favourite adult games ever - and I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

This is the best adult game I have played to date. Period. Renders are top quality and the Dev has created a world populated with great characters. Most impressive is the plot that the Dev is crafting. It's well thought out and the sexual communication between Suzie and Anon is hotter than the images in the game. 5 Stars!

The story was engaging and interesting and had decent depth without going over the top and becoming more a novel than a game.

AI models are cute, world is pretty and well laid out, sex scenes decent, with kinks right up my street.

Out of all AI artwork games I have played this one has the most consistency. It also has the most wholesome and realistic sharing scenes that I have ever seen. The writing is good, the story is interesting... I mean I didn't even expect it to have much of a story when I started playing. The artwork could be better, but that would increase the dev time by a lot, AI is what it is currently. The only real complaint that I have is the characters aren't really my type, but I am not going to drop the score for that, as it is entirely subjective.

The Female Main Characters look like 16-20 years old. They could be 10 years older, but that is my personal taste. What i like very much: The developer don't rush the story. The FMCs are gettingin every update a little bit more naughtier and don't start directly with a Gangbang. Very realistic.

By far the best game on this platform I’ve played. Great implementation of AI CG, with good character development and a fun story. Sex scenes are hot, long and well placed. I quite like the small bit of exploration, but it seems the dev abandoned that idea. I suppose the only wish would be some more player agency, but that’s likely something can be fleshed out in the future.

Man, this game is seriously awesome.
The art style is absolutely killer, looks fantastic.
Every character feels unique and real, which is huge.
The story grabs you right away and keeps you guessing with cool twists.
Big props for writing the main guy and his partner like solid people, not clichés.
The writing in the sex scenes is top-tier, they really know how to build the mood.
You can feel the passion the developer put into this; they're super involved too.
Definitely feels like it's setting a new standard for this kind of game.

Holy lack of choices.

If you want a game where you get to choose how it plays out...this aint it. You're gonna be dragged along for the ride for the most part. Dont want to attend a party? too bad. Dont want to let your gf sit on a homeless mans face...no chance. Dont want to let a dude you've known for like a day grope and jerk off to your gf...nah.

The choices that do exist do make some amount of difference but if for the most part you can't really decide how the story plays out, just mostly whether or not you'll see certain scenes.

Story wise, solid. It's fun lighthearted and pretty simple. Don't think too hard on it.

Images look good for AI art. It has a unique(for AI) style but the standard AI issues arise here with body shapes changing a bit from pose to pose/scene to scene. No animations here not that it matters too much for me but if that's a deal breaker for you then yeah.

Overall its a good game. i gave it a 4 because i would have like to have some decisions on how things happen in the game but mostly it just drags you along.

SLOW DOWN BRO

This game really sets the bar up high for any NTS game in the market.

The characters are great, different personalities, beautiful art (the girls all have different body types and face structures), and most importantly: the MC isn't a loser and neither his GF is a slut or a clueless girl.

The dialogues are well written and the story pace (so far) is great. Also a twist in this last public release, a thread of a main story that will probably guide this game from here forward, showcasing the author's creativity into adding so many layers in a story that a face value seem to be just another IA NTS/NTR story.

Overall this game is one of the best current games in the genre NTS, and as I said above, sets up the bar high, and I really hope other authors see this as an inspiration and challenge and aim to create more creative set ups and stories regarding those kinks.

Just wow. Good story, good graphics and the author definitely has a sense of style in erotism. I have really enjoyed the game, so far to the end of chapter 4. Looking forward to what's more to come and buying on Steam.

surprisingly good, the nts is good enough and the ai art is pretty consistent, i hate that i have to give 200 words for a rating and simply cant just rate it because i enjoyed it.

Hands down. Really great game. Apart from renders, that are amazing, i really like the story, charachters and narration. One of the thing i love most is that many good games have a lot of writing, dialogues etc but when it comes to sex scenes dialogues are fast, bad written, no fantasy ...here every scene is amazing, especially as regards the writing and the build up. Keep it up, amazing work!

Top tier setup for a light-hearted sharing VN. The house/town is a fun setting for this type of game and the mystical intrigue is a great hook. Suzie is written as an ideal sharing partner.

Feels almost like one of those 80s college party or summer camp horror movies so far. Characters are the focus, and they all shine with distinct personalities. It's fun to spend time with them, or punch their face (in the sense that the author is doing their job well). I appreciate that the player has agency with how the sharing goes down. The scenes are hot and the couple prioritizes each other even when choosing the "go wild" options. The truth or dare bit with MC, Suzie, Cee and Drago is one of the best in the genre.

As has been mentioned, bonus points for the developer also being a cool person. This VN feels like it has soul, and I'm looking forward to following along with Suzie and crew's coming adventures!
