There is a serious problem with porn games where each character only has the one kink attached to them, and for family members that kink is they're "the mom" or "the older sister" or "the younger sister". And those characters always follow very specific character archetypes with very specific character arcs with very little deviation from game to game. Hell, moms are almost universally the same height as or taller than the MC, have an exaggerated hourglass figure with massive tits and ass, black hair, and more often than not blue eyes.

Well there is a joke running in f95 i.e. "Mom is the ultimate prize and only be fucked after all the rest of female characters". Not only for mom, but sometimes this theory applies for sis too. The point is, Devs dont want to go beyond the "safe limit" for these characters especially they are incest and taboo. They say it will be "unrealistic" & "illogical" to go beyond the box.

But I would say that they dont have convincing storylines or dont have that much talent to make incest stories in a way that it can be both convincing and also raunchy and kinky enough too (without using corruption or fantasy elements). So many of the devs dont want to put brains to think out of the box especially in incest games. They still stucked in age old "vanilla" character archetypes because they dont want to risk. They think most of the playerbase likes normal vanilla stuff with great focus at romance conversations. But, thats not true. Our brains are developing day by day to accept the updated characters in our real world too. In olden days, talking about sex is so taboo. But now, it is not that much.

I would say i like Linda in Milfy City. Because, unlike lot of other incest games's Moms, she is the one who chase the Son first & convince Son into incestual relationship. It is so out of the box especially at that game (because it is happened some years before). Did Linda got hate? No, Linda got the cult status and there is lot of fanbase for that character.

So, what i want to say? Well, whenever there is new invention or discovery, some people will oppose.. But, there will be a time where it will be spread like anything. Examples: invention of cellphones and computers.

So, unless devs gonna take risk and ready to fail sometimes in order to spread the word and give time to the players to get habituated to this stuff, when still see the same vanilla incest shit for many upcoming years too.

True, like i said in my above reply, devs dont want to go beyond the "safe limit" or dont want to think out of the box. All they want is easy money or they dont have enough talent to write convincing raunchy, kinky stuff with mom and sis, especially without using corruption or fantasy elements. I heard many of devs defend this by "it is incest, that is why it is late. It is incest, that is why she gonna be fucked at last", "it is incest so thats why there wont be any hardcore stuff with mom."

I know it is incest and it may take time for characters to get close together, but once they break the wall, they can be so hardcore and kinky too in incest relationships too. But, in many incest games, after the first full sex scene, there will be mostly chances that game going to end within few updates and most of the sex scenes after that first sex scenes will be normal and romantic date sex. In epilogue they show preganancy and thats it. The end.

I so much agree with what you said.

It seems that it all comes down to either a fear of not pushing boundaries, but you can always just put a yes/no decision in rep'py, which is of course extra work and extra work is more work so who cares. Or it's just shit imagination. There's not many people who actually know how to write a good story, let alone a good story with good sex scenes and kinky fetishes. Heck, there's this one game, where you go to a BDSM club with your sister, and she's dressed in a latex outfit with tits and pussy exposed... and it's just boring and uninspired. Like goddamn man.
Oh and don't get me started with the mom being the same height as the male MC, or taller. I just don't get it. Mybe the whole mom fetish thing needs to have her be your size or something? Idk.

I also agree with you here. It just seems that a lot can't actually write good stories, and are more skilled in the dev part of game making.

And come on, give us some cuddling or post-sex scenes or something. Not just nut and bolt, move on to the next scene.
