Ren'Py - Abandoned - Mother Load [v0.12b] [kyl-e]

Nice concept of the game and the renders and graphics look good as well. Unfortunately this game is really only beginning so the stories are just suggestion than some development. Too bad it is abandoned, but there would be a lot of work anyways.

Considerations: Nice story, good background information and relations. Promising. In the future maybe events can be interconected, requiering some level with a character to progress with another. Some easter eggs or random events also would be nice, locations seems quite empty so far.

Its pretty bare bones at the moment, no actual sex scenes as of yet, but it is a promising game, with a good storyline, great looking characters. hopefully in future updates they will add more substancial content

This is a fun sandbox game. Renders and girls are beautiful. There are kind of special camera angles and high quality sex scenes. Sandbox mechanism was comfortable for me only problem is the world is empty in this version but I think it will be better in the future.

A solid game for one so early in development. Renders are solid and there's certainly both a good foundation to build upon and hints that there's a plan going forward in terms of game play. A lot of the characters to be interacted with are just there as place holders but it's nice to see what should be coming up.

The only real issue I have is, as an game in early development there's not much to do beyond clicking on the character at the correct time. The story is a bit cliche once you look beyond the reason for why the game started. There's a bit bit about you being a soccer player who gets injured and your family have to move etc etc etc but beyond the initial setup it's rarely referenced.
The pacing is a bit off as well. After only a handful of releases it seems that you've had your way with most of the major characters. Not anything WRONG with that but it does lead me to worry that the game might shoot its load too early (so to speak). There's very little build up or pre-requisites to get the scenes either beyond "be at x at time y". Takes a lot of the achievement away from getting to where you need to get to, but it's still fun to watch I suppose. Will that come in the future? Maybe, it's certainly a game worth following to check out.

After remarks and comments, decided to play this game and at its current stage is excellent!

Content/story: a lot of content in the begining and a ton of potential characters. story is engaging. Of course EVERY girl wants a piece of him and obviously not realistic but we don't play these games for reality!

Graphics and design: outstanding. girls are different and for the most part believable. I like when there are different body types and looks.. well done.

The hint system is good and hopefully will include all characters as they are added. The only negative and its not really that bad is that a lot of the activities fall in same time slot so there is some "dead time" between activities which you then skip in map or take a nap. These dead times probably will be addressed with more characters or with work in future updates but again not that big a issue.

Highly recommend this game and looking forward to updates.

just played the game and finished all current content and i gotta say this game reminds me of milf city the free roaming the house garage how the characters interract etc. in my eyes this game is clearly inspired by milf city which is a good thing because milf city is still one of the best porn games out there

1st off the graphics are really good i love the design of every character the house and the world map the models are beautifuly made very detailed and really stylistic that's all i can say about the graphics it's really good

2nd the interactions while fast paced is well done giving you just enough context to not feel fake and rushed and i love the free roaming
i love being able to choose which girl to advance when i want i've seen some people complaining about it but i find really good

3rd the story while not special or new it's the kind of story i really like for me i don't need a great story as long as the characters feel
believable and fleshed out that's all i need from a porn game

4rd the sex scenes while not much yet there is enough actually for how new the game is there is a lot of content with multiple girls already and i'd rather have to wait a while longer for more sex scenes than they being rushed i'd rather wait a few updates with buildup than having the sex scenes rushed because that will ruin the impact of the sex scenes you will eventually get

and that's it what i wanted to say the game has potential and i hope the developer doesn't abandon or rush the game because it's already looking good i hope the developer get's the support that he/she needs to keep working on the game and makes the best game he/she can make i look forward to seeing what the next updates have to offer

There is just ONE thing which messes up the high rated review: SANDBOX
Why ... just WHY ...
There are games where sandbox really makes sense - but there are also games where sandbox mode does NOT make ANY sense (like this one). Just remove Sandbox - you will save yourself a lot of work, and the game would feel much better if you let the player play as VN.
Doing Sandbox is just unnecessary work for annoying stuff (imho)
Please reconsider - and remove SB - please

I still don't understand why people make sandbox-like games, I am here to enjoy my self. And I honestly don't really wan't to think when I play these games.
just let me enjoy the art-dialog-music. etc. make it a VN. and you get 5/5 from me.

Please Remove the SANDBOX part of the game and make it Narrative and you will have 5 stars .

The Story, The Family Dynamic, The Art, and the music are great. But the sandbox just kills it and Rarely goes well and actually detracts from the enjoyment.

I was a little caught up between 4 or 5 stars, settled on 5 clearly.

For a start, the game is fantastic, the setup is pretty good, the character renders are very well done and detailed (particularly the 'landlady' and principal), soundtrack is good and varied.

I was stuck mostly because of the gameplay and story progression. The games has a sandbox style, with zero grinding. You essentially just choose which girl you wanna progress with and go for it.

I was a bit iffy at first, but now I quiet like it. I also think it will only get better as the development progresses, with more girls being made available, providing more options.

The other issue was that the relationship progression was a bit rushed so far, particularly considering the ''landlady''/''tenant'' dynamic. This is not a big issue, I am cool with it since slower progression doesn't quite suite a game with multiple paths. I do however, believe that a bit more emotional depth would elevate the game.

Also, almost forget, but I personally really like the size difference. That is, the MC is not of large build in comparison to the 'landlady' and a few others (the gym teacher and the principal). So yeah, really looking to future scenes there.

So yeah, great work and best of luck to the dev.

Hoooollllllyyyyy Hell! This is just Version 0.1a?? Dude, this has more content than some finished games! Seriously good, especially for a first release. Girls are diverse and likable, MC is clever and looks good. My only gripe would be that he's a little short—his mom is at least an inch or two taller than him. But for real though, this is amazing.

Good renders, good writing, good pacing. This could develop into something really awesome in the future. Still short, as of 7/27/2020, but that's no big deal. Looking forward to playing it again down the line.

Ok, so I too like many others here on F95, got a taste of the hot VN on the block. This is what I experienced from the version 0.1.

Story - Mother Load (ML) isn't trying anything new, it is using the tried and tested trope of the MC being the only man in town who can have his way with ladies of all ages. He's supposedly a promising soccer player until he meets an unfortunate accident and is now forced to live with his mother and sister. We've all seen this before and as a player you know what's coming. So at least in the story dept, it is average.

Characters -- The only characters you get in this update is the mom, sister and the hot neighbour. You are introduced to other characters as well if you choose to free roam. AFAIR, there should be about 14 female characters, which should provide plenty of individual or joint arcs. In this update though, I chose to focus on mom and you get quite some content with her. However, it leaves me with mixed feelings - while it gets me the action I want, there isn't enough character interaction to make it believable. For instance, the mom mentions they aren't in good financial shape as they lost a big chunk in MC's medical bills but looking at their lifestyle, it certainly doesn't seem so. Again, MC's father is conveniently out of the picture and the mom is portrayed as lonely, which is again too convenient and easy.

Renders & scenes - There's no faffing about this aspect and in general many VNs in the past couple of years, the renders are stunning, which make the scenes really enjoyable. No animations so far but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Importantly, the dev has managed to include women of varied ages, race, body types which is a big plus. You don't see women cut out of Madame Tussaud's walking as if they are on NYC fashion ramps every day, so barring few stunners (I'll let you find out on your own ;-) ) there are others catering to every taste.

Overall, a very promising start but it reminds of a game who recently got very unpopular due to the dev taking his patrons for a ride (you-know-who and which). Again, this isn't a bad thing but hopefully the dev puts his spin on the chars and their arcs.

What you get in the initial release - great character models with real diversity (even if most of them are only teased at this point) and a decent story buildup (nothing original, but still nice).
The progression with characters might be too fast right now and the scenes are too short, but I get the creator wanted to show the audience something substantial, and I treat the 0.1 more as a demo anyway.

So, as a demo, this one definitely goes to my watch list

Loved the content in the game so far, and yes, there may be other games out there with very similar story lines and scenarios, but regardless I am looking forward to see where the Dev takes things from here.

A very good first release with sufficient content to keep you hooked. The characters are gorgeous and there is enough sex to be rewarding while the story is sufficiently interesting to fill out the parts in between without making one want to skip it.

Great graphics and images are top quality. Good rendering of the character pictures. Good luck with the story. Hope the next update has more information and progress on the other characters. Not sure what to do at the park yet.

Compared to many other visual novels it is a pleasure to see such an amount of content in the first release.
The sandbox is easy, not to much grinding, wonderful characters, great renders (I especially noticed small things like for example, the little shinning effect on the red lips etc.), lighting is good.
And there are still a lot of possibilities and interesting openings for the future updates.
