I am not trying to stereo type of classify just an honest question,.

Why are there so many Russian/eastern block developers creating VN games?
Apart from some strange English syntaxes and sentences the games are generally very well made.

No I don't think we have russian spies .Also most vns were usually Japanese or russian before in my experience . Only recently many western Devs have also joined here ... But I might be wrong

I think that they have very good programers and the money from a project in patreon is allot more than the monthly salary in russia.

As i have said, i do not have a problem apart from some strange English sentences for me the Russian devs seems to have more who are of higher quality.

I know about the Japanese VN but not experience many Russian one's until i stared playing VNS more and more.

If you havent noticed Eastern Europe and Russia is quite strong in mainstream games as well , some of the most succesful game franchises are form the east . And even if the studio is registered in the west the development part is often done in the east , as there is realy big tallent pool of programers
