Ren'Py - Completed - Mother Village [Ch.5] [SHADOWMASTER]

I want to be extremely honest, and give the right value to what has value.
From the first chapter to now the difference is there and it shows, and the graphic quality has improved even if the animations leave very little to be desired especially because there are very few of them and the ones that are there seem to have returned to the Lula 3D era.
And he continues heavily this annoying approach of seeing huge tits, asses, pussies and cocks but nothing concrete happens the 4 chapters of this series this poor dog and reached the finish line in infinite times but without passing it, why ?!
Repetitive and not only frustrating to the point of boredom, children who permanently interfere in their mothers' lives, even forcibly, since in certain situations it would be inconceivable for them to be there, but since we have to find a way to interrupt the highlight of the scene, we persist children who are jealous of their mothers but free to try it with their friends' mothers...
And how can we not end up on a high note with a catchy phrase in every chapter... "Support me" to keep seeing nothing in the next chapter!
The only things that keep saving themselves from the works are the story, and the NPC modelilg the rest and nothing.

Apparently the stars of the show are all the angry, angsty, mentally deficient, butt-hurt kids, and the primary purose of this series is to blue-ball you through a protracted series of near misses, mostly caused by aforementiond emotionally stunted boys. The amount of whining they do about anyone else potentially fucking their mothers is unbearable, and made even worse by the lack of them fucking their mothers either. Lots of dog dicks waving around, very little of anything else. Whole chapters go by with no more than a stray titty popping out.

Absolute edging.
The whole thing feels like a bad fever dream from start to… well, is there even an ending? If there is, I didn’t feel it. It just sort of stops, leaving you annoyed and confused even more.

That said, I can’t fully say I wasted my time. Sometimes hitting the absolute bottom helps you appreciate the average stuff that’s clearly made with actual effort.

Imagine the worse game you ever played, then try to comprehend that this is even worse.
I excuse the site for not having 0 as a rating and give this 1 because of the effort.
The language is English I think, even though that would be an insult.
The story is, ignored as it simply not possible to follow.

This game feature some sort of exploration which force the player to go to different places, just by guessing.

So here's the thing, you can take this review with a grain of salt, because is it the most polished project? No, but I'm giving it a five purely out of the batshit insane originality and wild places it goes.. I'll try to stay away from spoilers but A: you play as the dog, already Idk if I've seen that especially in a VN lol.. Played chapter 1 which was rpgm, very clunky, could do with a remake eventually but it was ok, had a wild ending though. Then chapter 2 comes along and expands on the story in so many ways, now it's not just normal bestiality, now there's intrigue? There's like maybe a frame story? More characters are introduced? I'm downloading chapter 3 now and who knows maybe I'll regret the premature review but I haven't been able to put down the game yet, and for me this is a series where the jankiness doesn't matter because it's so different, so strange, that you don't know what to expect. *cough* horsemen hallucinations *cough* a good choice if you're bored of the endless monotony of the usual, and not afraid or offended by a less-than-perfect look or design

I played the four chapters*, so you don't have to. Trust me, bro.

And after having played the four chapters* - I really did - that amounts to over 10Gb of data to download, I have to rate this with one star.

That one star really is for the content available for F95 punters to 'enjoy' - it is a lot of content, if you enjoy a 'blue-ball simulator'.

But, this is compounded by the fact that a lot (99%?) of the (spicy) content is pay-walled (Patreon). Which is fine. That is the dev's prerogative how they set things up. And I guess it works: £££.

But, that means you'll spend an age clicking (and downloading) and only seeing actual penetration during chapter four via a training vid (that goes on forever). Don't ask.

And chapter four for some reason introduces a very poor 'sandbox' mechanic! Which also features in the training vid...

The 'story' loop of beasts wanting to nail Milfs held back by jealous sons - It's not that bad of a premise, to be fair. Ah, the execution!

I could go on and on. Story logic. Continuity. Pacing. Dialogue. AI voicing (can mute). Unskippable AI-voiced scenes (excruciating).

I'm sure if you're a Patreon of this dev, then you would give it a higher rating. That's fine. But, it has to be rated based on what is available here.

So, unless you're looking to throw some money around, and the tags...

Anyway. No.

This is a village best forgotten.

Note to myself:

You would think after 3 attempts that there is somewhat of an improvement in sight. But, Bad AI voice acting, bad control, stupid writing, clunky design and atrocious click to fuck ratio, proves me wrong. Sad to see a genre that is underused being abused in this way.

Maybe Mother Village Ch. 31 will have something worthwhile. As it stands. Terrible product. Not recommended for consumption.

Based on when Chapter 4 comes out:

So yeah, that's all what I can say. I don't know if I want continuing doing reviews about this game because is the same thing: and bugs and errors of course. But yeah, when the game is completed I'm gonna see if mention something about the final result or let others people do their review and give my like.
And I didn't mention about the paywall so much because that's something that we all already know.

I played the first game and it was not good lmao. RPGM made it really tough to play.

Now they created part 2 in RenPy and its still not good.

The voice acting adds whole level of cringe.
The Story is so weird.
The amount of content thats on there doesn't warrant the 3GB file size.

The only redeeming qualities are the models and how thicc they are

Interesting premise and decent models, I guess. The dialogue and ai voices drag everything down super hard. At times it feels like whatever is happening in screen is completely random. Also the male human characters are awful, generic and most of their interventions are redundant as hell.

Not a great start, the only thing going for it is perhaps hitting some kinks missed by others.

Teaser is what it is, showing very little as far as scenes.

Renders below average and looks like plot might be an afterthought if there will be one. Nothing really made any sense.

Giving it 2 stars is charitable.

Hopefully the DEV takes the feedback and polishes things up a bit.
Will check back after a couple releases to see it there is potential.

I feel like I'm having a stroke playing this game.

Story - What's going on here?
Originality - Only game of it's kind, that's for sure.
Renders - Meh
Sound - Cringe
Playability - Click a hundred times and you're done. Game is over.
Performance - Literally like any other Ren'Py game.
Bugs - Couldn't tell you if something was apart of the game or not. Animations - Hardly any and it's on the bad side of 3D models in Ren'PY.
Voice Acting - Worst part of this game; It's generic Tik-Tok text to speech. Grammar - Below the level of a 4th grader. Must be foreign.
Amount of content - None; There is nothing here worth while.

I really like this game because it's attempting something new, the dev is delivering on time and it covers a fairly niche set of kinks.

The models are hot, I find the aphrodisiac stuff hot and it it has voiced lines too. Hopefully as the series progresses there should be more sex scenes because for now there are none in chapter 2.

Overall I'd say I'm more hopeful for this than a lot of other games.
