Mouse Click Skipping Multiple Lines of Dialogue

Hi,


Lately, I've noticed that in some Ren'Py games, a single mouse click skips more than one line of dialogue. It feels like one click is being registered as two, causing the game to jump ahead unexpectedly.


This issue only started recently, and I don’t recall it happening in the past. I’ve checked my system’s double-click settings and even tried using a different mouse, but the problem still occurs.


Is there a known fix or setting that could help with this?

it's a issue due to latest couple of window update ago

I am having the same issue

what type of keyboard and mouse do you have?

i have tried to

double-click settings
removing the mouse driver and reinstall

nothing worked

for me it's just not just rempy it's also with firefox, youtube, plex, etc
