Move Games to new Pc

So I have bought myself a new pc and i wondered if i could move my games to it, by just putting my hdd where the games are on into my new pc. Would that work or do i have to download all the games again? They are for the most part Renpy games with some exceptions.

In general, you can simply move all the folders with the game to a new computer (or move the hard drive in your case). Additionally, you will need to get all of the save files that are in Appdata - roaming.

You can get there (if you have windows) by pressing WIN + r and type in %appdata%. There find the folder "Renpy" and there will be all your saves, just move them to the same place on the new computer.

Well your Saves are in C:\Users\*Username*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy

transfer the saves via google drive, redownload the games on your new pc
your save data location may differ but on mist renpy they are in the same folder the game itself is in
