I hate this tool. It is laggy. It has an ugly and confusing UI. It is really difficult to figure out how to use. It is too tedious to use. And the results aren't good. It is now Feb 2025. In Aug 2024, I downloaded a game and wanted to change the names in the dialog and above the dialog. It took forever to figure out that I had to "register" and be emailed a passcode before it could work. But now in Feb 2025, I can't even figure out how to register and there really isn't any indication at all in the entire MTools program that you need to register or how. Well, I registered in Aug 2024, and after a lot of time and effort I figured out how to export the dialog, make changes to it, and then re-upload the changed dialog. The loading process takes a good long while. The text in the game looked like crap after that. It changed the text size and font-family. And the problem was I still had the default names above the dialog. I asked the developer for help with that in Aug 2024. It is now Feb 2025 and he still hasn't responded. Now I tried to figure it out on my own again. The program would not even work because it needed to be updated. But of course there are no update links within MTools that I could see so I had to navigate to a site, translate the site to English, download the new version, and replace the old version. Now I can't figure out how to re-register and it's not using my translated dialog. It's still extremely laggy. Still takes forever to just load a freaking translated dialog. The UI is still ugly and confusing. It has stupid things like an Icon that covers the "Main" tab and you have to get under the Icon to see the "Main" tab and click on it. This has been a real headache. I don't ever want to touch this program ever again. I wish that there was a better alternative out there. Using MTools is about as intuitive as it is sitting at your computer in the TV show Severance and staring at a bunch of random numbers and trying to figure out how the random numbers makes you feel. By the way, I already said this before in a post that I deleted, but I already tried changing the names on the character tab by changing the default name or changing the nickname and that didn't work. That was one of the first things that I tried.

I've been using this translator for longer than I can remember and it has never let me down. The application is very intuitive and functional, always being well updated and constant with the quality of the translations. Not to mention the other accessories it has, which are very useful.

With the goal of this tool to translate, you would hope that it just does that. Sadly, a text size limit of 2.94 MB has made it so that the game that I was aiming to have translated (it is literally 2.95 MB of text), can only be translated by purchasing a subscription. Hopefully that limit can be increased soon...

This program is awesome,i really recomend this program,please support the creator if you can,this programs is ameizing. It can translate whatever game, i hope in a future we will have a program for uncensor hentai games too soo ez like that.

Very convenient tool for messing around with variables in games, especially WolfRPG since there aren't many tools for that game engine. Also the translate function to translate the ingame variables is awesome.
Tip: Don't inject the tool in WolfRPG games, it messes up the fullscreen mode; drag and drop the exe and run without install for every run instead.

By far the best tool to translate and cheat out there. I've been subscribed on patreon for ~ 3 months now and the only criticism I have with it is that there is a cap on translation file size per month, except that it's a 10/10 tool.

This is a great tool that can translate any rpg maker or wolf games, its waaaay better than translator ++ (which usually breaks the games), this tool its easy to use and you can translate many games in minutes and so far 0 crashes in the games I tested.

If you ever found a game that seem to be great on Dlsite but you cant play it because it doesnt have an english translation, you dont have to wait for months or years for it to be translated, you can get the game and have it in english (MTL) or any other language in minutes (although I reccoment to translate it in english since the text may not fit the text box in certain languages on rpgmaker games).

I highly reccomend this tool.
