First came across MudDweller by chance on Twitter, with their Nicole and Anby WIP entering my feed. It was rough, but I liked their style of animating the character. Gave a follow and watched them keep posting wips until their first animation came out. It was good, still rough regrading the movements, but there was detail in the animation. Character expression changed throughout the finished video, and use of silhouettes was a nice touch. Plus, it was a change of pace of using ZZZ monsters instead of just using hilichurls for everything hoyo made.
Then they moved onto next project, and that got me excited. They took the criticism to heart and made their Burnice animation more “bouncy”. Animation was less stiff, the walk animation for the intro was a great way to show off her ass, and jiggle physics for ending scene was a nice touch. The continued use of ZZZ monster is a good. Oh, I can’t forget about the continue change of expression throughout vid. Burnice smug look going away even for a moment as the Ethereal grabbed her throat was a good bit. And the attempt of diegetic music with Burnice snapping her fingers in beat to the music was good detail.
