Ren'Py - Completed - MWNeus [v1.0 Fix] [CLLGames]

The story and writing while not as good or bad as some say imo, its a bit rough. The theme and concepts behind it are interesting, and it's not some copypasta sandbox.

I can understand why some give it the high rating, (yandere) but the writing, pacing, and at times some of it feels a "huh... okay" feeling rather than pulling me in, where the pacing is definitely a bit rushed.

I wouldn't say the game is bad. So I'll drop a 3 star, with the caveat that I'd probably have enjoyed playing several other games on my "to play" list more.

I love every bit of this little game. 5/5 would recommend.

When you think it ends there are extra split endings to ending. A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

I hope dev will make a bigger game next time (more girls, places etc) with same quality of crazy story and nice animations.

Terrible writing. It felt like the developer have never heard how people talk and coexist in real life. If this is how he feels people interact and behave themselves, i pity him.

Pacing is poor. There is some hidden story that the game simply drops on you in the end with no buildup or hints to it. There is no game to speak of: you click on location and you get two lines of text. Mini-games are actually insulting to a player. The only somewhat redeeming thing are visuals.

Damn that was good. I loved how there were different paths and you could change path to another so easily. Also was great you could downgrade relationship level. Also really loved how much pregnancy content there was. Hope to see more games like this.

For those in search of a game containing a main love interest with a big ass and small breasts this is a must try.

It's also refreshing to see proper pregnancy content instead of just a single frame at the end of the story.

This game will satisfy anyone on the hunt for proper breeding/pregnancy content and those in support of the itty bitty tittie committee!

Excellent game. Not excessively long, but a large amount of content. Endings make a difference and content is great quality. I liked the story and enjoyed the surprise toward the end of the main part of the game prior to the endings. One of the best games on the site.

This is the fantasy, of what a person wants to happen when they stick their dick in crazy. I highly reccomend playing through, even the sandbox. I highly reccomend you remember this won't play out in real life. If she is crazy, run away, like Hermoine from Hogwarts erasing her existence from her parents memory, and be prepared to change your identity multiple times as well as possibly moving into the woods forever.

One of the better games on this website. Not much corruption in this game per say, but the Quality of the H-scenes are amazing. My only complaint is that this game needs to be longer with more drawn out corruption. Other than that I would give this game a solid 4.5/5.

Probably one of my favorite games on this site. It doesn't try to over complicate things with a story and the grinding is minimal. It's just a straight up sex game with a lot of content. Things get very weird in one of the endings but it's well worth it for even more great content. It's a shame we probably won't get more content in this game as it's complete but I hope we get similar content from the author in the future.

masterpiece, theres no other way to describe it. theres something for everyone and the style, the looks, it just all comes together perfectly. replayed this game a few times by now and happy to come see it finally be finished yet sad that it ended.

I'm going to keep this update brief since I'm still trying to cope with the schizophrenia this game gave me...

The Good

• The plot has some level of structure and tries to tell a rather serious story - that being one of split-personality disorder. Overall, the author does a good enough job with leaving just enough clues for the audience to make an assumption as to what the "twist" is going to be.
• While some might see this as a negative, I find it highly refreshing the pace at which the dev progresses from one lewd/story scene to the next. Not everything has to be a 10-20 chapter novel to be enjoyable, and in that aspect I feel the dev has succeeded.
• The lewd scenes are enjoyable enough with properly looped animations. Additionally, the dev also put in the time and effort to differentiate scenes with alternate outfits when he could have easily recycled previous animations.
• Spoilers ahead for this one...
  • Neus is one of the more in-depth characters I've come across, and it's all the more impressive when the dev manages to implement Lyra - a variation of Neus - who also has similar levels of depth despite essentially being a copy. Not much can be said about Sylvia until she's given more screen time, but it'll be interesting to see how she's developed over time.
  • It was also genuinely surprising seeing that the conlcusion to the story resulted in 4 split paths, 3 of which you can interact with to varying degrees. I will say that the "Normal" ending was a bit of a heartbreak despite the short bit of narration, but with the main theme dealing with personalities and their associated disorders it's unsurprising that this was included as an ending. Thankfully, for those who love Neus, it doesn't seemed to be considered one of the "true" endings as those are reserved for the "obsession" arcs.

Now onto...

The Bad

• The lack of any coherent hair style for Neus genuinely irritated me as she went from medium length hair w/ bangs straight to a super long ponytail. Even more egregious is that fact that the hairstyles change multiple times DURING THE SAME DAY... If you're reading this CLL, I beg of you to just stick with one hairstyle...
• Despite praising the dev for the generally fast pacing of the story, there are moments where the pace is a bit too fast and you skip the necessary transition dialogue to get from point A to point B. Thankfully there isn't any time travel shenanigans at play here, but it can be a bit disorienting for anyone who fails to make it far enough into the story for all of the intro stuff to make a bit more sense.

Conclusion
MWNeus is a textbook example of a "diamond in the rough". There are several areas where it does better than the competition, and just as many where it falls much shorter. However, given the content that's there, it's not hard to understand why it ranks high in most people's opinions despite the shortcomings.



Who is the target audience?
Anyone with a pregnancy fetish, or loves the whole split-personality dynamics.

What is the average length of content?
I'd say that the whole story and it's endings can rack upwards to 12 hours of actual playtime. It's a ridiclously short VN.

Is it worth purchasing on Steam?
Only if it's listed at $5 USD. It's a great first project, but lacks the necessary skill and polish that would justify a listing price of $20 USD (which is where most of these projects seem to fall).


To CLL directly: You've done a great job with your first project, and I really hope to see you stick around in the AVN scene. I think with a bit more practice and experience that you could quickly rise the ranks of most renowned devs on this site.

Brainrot: the game

There's an embarrassingly low bar when it comes to writing for adult games, this one manages to miss it by a mile.

"I want to have 11 children before your egg factory expires"
"Mmmm, I don't think i can have that many."
"I believe in you..."
"Hmm.."
It keeps going like that as the brain rot sets in.
The gameplay mechanics are meaningless, the story makes no sense and the dialogue moves between utter gibberish to weird imitation of humans, and the scenes other reviews kept going on about aren't even good.

The fact this is rated 4/5 at the time of me writing this is mind boggling.

It's little more than a slightly glorified slideshow, but goddamn is it a good slideshow.

I agree with some of the other posters that I don't think the story is great, I think the pacing is a overly fast, but really, does any of that matter if it hits the right buttons?

This game works for me and I found it really quite hot and that's all that matters in my opinion. Especially because of the preg content which can be sorely lacking in other games with the pregnancy tag.

4/5, if only because as I said, the story and pacing are lacking, but if you like the character, you'll probably enjoy the game.

Another pointless junk game. There are no redeeming qualities. Plot, writing, story, pacing, are at the worst level possible.

Scenes are subpar and uninteresting. The whole game duration is around 5-6 minutes if you skip dialogues, which you should do anyway.

Even though MWNeus is a pretty weird name, the game is actually a really good porn game.

Pros:
1) Great renders.
2) Especially great animations.
3) Because the game focuses on only one girl, there is a lot of depth to her and her content seems to branch out to many different possibilities.
4) She has a fat ass.
5) Sandbox isn't grindy.

Cons:
1) The writing is inconsistent and incoherent often. Sometimes you go from point A to point C but totally skip point B between them. Same can be said about the plot. But this isn't a VN so it's not a deal breaker.
2) MC has really weird hair and is a bit rapey.

good story, and scenes, really liked the female lead, and the phases too. the milf one was my favorite one . the game felt complete even though there was no complete status and the version was 0.1 so hopefully there will be more content added to this game

Some might call this a game. It's definitely something. The writing is bad enough that it had me searching for the dialog file pretty quickly. Maybe it would be better if I was into tsundere. The model is attractive, though no buxom babe here. If petite is your thing, it could work for you.

Long story short, it's not for me.

I tried this out because the art looked good and it had a high rating, but this game had the absolute worst writing, pacing, and gameplay I have ever seen. I don't understand how anyone could enjoy this. Maybe just download it, unlock the gallery, and watch the scenes? Even so the writing in the gallery scenes is painful. Just don't bother with this one.
