VN - Ren'Py - My A-rank Witch [v0.5] [Skinny Rat Studio]

Excellent game.

Great renders with attractive gals.

(My liking of the AI renders may p1ss off AI-hater NPC sheep, but the reality is the art here is seriously top-notch, the gals are smokin' hot, and the clarity and style of the renders really helps to sell the feelings intended.)

Story-wise, while my personal preference w/a MMC is that anyone messing w/my gal dies, the story is well-handled, and the NTR parts are mainly seen from FMC POV, so that is not (yet) focused on a cuck POV (outside the MC's nightmares). More, the eventual NTS option may bypass that result entirely.

At this time, am giving 4 stars, as it is still early days for this endeavor. If the game remains excellent, as seems likely, it may be upgraded to 5 stars.

From what I've read so far, the story is really good. It has an original plot: it's not a cliché like other NTR games. I'm really enjoying reading it and eagerly awaiting the new version. It's still too early to talk about the missing parts of the game; as for NTS content, that's what I'm most looking forward to. I'm very interested to see how the magic ball will fit into different routes.

Version 0.5 Review:
Graphically, I wasn't expecting such well-crafted AI art. I'm no expert, but the character models, environments, and animations are far above average.
I also appreciate the sounds, both BGM and SFX, something many games don't do or do poorly.

Regarding the story and characters, I admit I'm a little biased, as I love the fantasy genre, but I still found both the world and the story very interesting. I've read a few people complain about the character writing, but personally, I appreciated both the dialogue and the character architypes. I'm curious to see how the NTS portion will evolve, but for now, I consider it promising.

Perhaps the only flaw that worries me for the future is the heavy-handedness of some themes, which are introduced in a somewhat "dark" way. I'm referring primarily to the part about the torture of witches with crystals implanted in their bodies. As much as I like the opening, I'm a little worried it's approached in a slightly too dark manner, and personally, I'd appreciate it if the whole thing were explored in a more lighthearted and erotic way. However, I understand some players' desire to maintain a darker, more serious tone, so I'd perhaps recommend splitting the player's choices to accommodate their preferences.

Overall, I think it's an extremely interesting project that I'll definitely keep an eye on.

Good in the beginning, then falls off.

Up to version 0.3V, the buildup has a great pace and makes sense (porn standard). What I really like is how that blonde elf really seems to be set up to be the instigator of the NTR. The FMC and the elf are well written. The redhead I find boring. So far, I give it 5/5 stars.

Then, unfortunately, the dev makes, in my opinion, a kinda bad creative choice. He decides to implement a feature where the FMC has to drink a potion and enter an area that makes the FMC more horny. Instead of having this already corrupted elf incite the FMC and MC to develop a NTR fetish, he decides to cut corners by implementing the potion and this new "area".

I believe the dev has great potential in making NTR games. Here, I think he made some mistakes that he should learn from.

This game touches on a lot of subjects I like but more importantly than all of the others it actually touches subject other games don't necessarily dare approaching and I really like that. This game actually made me FEEL something with some of it's scenes and that's why I am giving it this note

I can't get over how good this game is. The story is very well written and all the characters are fleshed out properly. The couple is loving and sweet, which makes the NTR much more enjoyable. There are also so many plot elements to setup the different scenarios such as the succubus mana in the dungeon or the abilities of the elf lady to spy and read minds. The part of the romance with the childhood friend is also an interesting twist.

I really have no complaints with this game at all. Pledging to it is a no brainer.

My only worry is that this game with such an indepth story and multiple paths, will be challenging for the developer to give each path proper attention, which might disappoint certain fans when their path gets neglected. But we shall see.

I see a LOT of potential for this game, and the Dev seems invested and with passion on the Project.

While this game is surely promising, I'ld advice against playing it already due to its very limited amount of content. It feels more like a 0.2 or 0.3 instead of a 0.5 and will most likely leave u blueballed. Bookmark it and wait for a few more updates.

This is a very promising game indeed. I just hope the quality will be maintained in future updates.

Graphics: Very good. Despite being AI-rendered, the characters are really well made. Even the background art, which is usually the greatest flaw of AI games, is quite good.

Writing: It's good. I like the characters and the setting for the story is good too.

Soundtrack: The game has a good soundtrack, which is a big plus for immersion.

Of course, as I said, this is a review for version 0.5. Let's hope the developer can maintain the quality, especially since he has decided to create two different paths, essentially two different games.

I'm an "AI CG skeptic". When I see AI CG, my first thought it's most likely just a lazy money grab with zero to no soul. This game is not that, the girls are super hot, especially our main one.

So the game looks great, but what really matters is writing. If it doesn't feel real, if it's boring, if characters don't pull you into the story - no pretty CG will make up for it. The writing in the game is excellent, and I loved the world building with Witches and the Dungeon, etc. it's all interesting on it's own, I was invested way before any spicy stuff.

This game feels like a soulless business venture. I think the developer sees how successful these kinds of games are—AI CG with NTR/generic storylines—and decided to make something similar.
For me, these kinds of games are a step down from regular games with 3D models. Here, we see character sprites and backgrounds that often look unnatural and out of place. We can often read the text for a minute or more, staring at the same image where nothing happens.
The plot is simple and straightforward. Everything is copied from other similar games, even the dialogue is the same.
I don't see anything special about the AI art in this game. It's typical, there are a few beautiful scenes, but the characters are generic; fans of huge breasts and asses will love them. The MC in the games either has a small penis, and his girlfriend is unhappy about it, or he's a cuckold, or whatever else is common in these kinds of games.
The developer put a lot of effort into the game, but overall I only give it a 1/5.

I just played through 0.5. While not perfect (really more of a 4.5*) I think it's far better than most porn games out there. Yes, it's imperfect AI art, but I though almost all of it was hot. Yes, the writing is a bit weak, but overall the story is good and makes sense. The fetishes were great and very sexy. All the characters are interesting. It looks like updates come regularly.

Very few porn games out there get some much right and so little wrong. This game isn't perfect, but it has no glaring flaws or annoyances to me and I found it to be enjoyable and sexy.

Definitely recommended!

Pros:

• Audio and animation is well implemented.

Cons:

• Characters and writing is rather bland, it sticks to the usual formulaic stereotype very closely, the dialogue as a result comes off very stiff.
• The sprites for the same character can change shape pretty wildly from scene to scene, it can get a little jarring seeing your slender mages suddenly match the width of your muscled warriors.
• Game which is already light on content keeps getting more and more splits for routes and miss-able scene choices, thinning out the content spread even more.

Review of 0.5 (NTR route, didn't bother trying NTS).

tl;dr - It's okay. I didn't find the story particularly compelling and there were far too many characters to really keep my interest.

Pros :
A fair mix of women (including furries).
A few different men if that interests you on the NTR/NTS side of things.
A few different routes (only a few fleshed out a little at the moment).
Art was fine and consistent from what I saw.

Cons :
Lots of characters that I didn't really care about, at least half a dozen women and almost as many men introduced.
Limited storylines - There were quite a few branches and the choices weren't obvious if they had an impact for most of them. This was compounded by the lots of characters.
AICG (I know this will be a problem for some).

A decent starting offering. I think paring down some of the characters introduced and fleshing out individual storylines before expanding it would make more sense but it's not my game so ymmv.

I do think the art was fairly decent and consistent, albeit AI and the characters didn't seem to be ridiculously written although the story was pretty convoluted.

It started out great, but quickly went downhill.
Bad writing, lack of character development, endless love talk, pointless decisions, not to mention the disconnected sexual content. So yeah, if you just want to see a few bad sex scenes, this VN is for you, as there are plenty of them, but if you want to read a good story, you're better off finding another VN.

Love the esthetic, fetishes introduced and art. Does that thing where it introduces a lot of characters and I just see the future feature creep. Not much else to say, as of 0.4 there was a few hot naughty scenes. I'm really looking forward to future development and/or exploration of these kinks.

Very nice, decent pace. Not too fast, not too slow. Characters are mostly consistent. Art is great. The story makes sense for the most part. And the scenarios are hot. Some people seem to be rating this on a standard that isn't quite analogous to most other games on this site. It should be at least a 4 star, because I swear there are 4 star games on here wayy worse than this. And then as usual there are the classic NTR/NTS/Vanilla debates, and a salty russian, pulling the ratings down slightly.

Very good characters with backstories.
I really like how mc slowly gets cooked.
Hope the updates keep coming more frequently.


Soundtrack is good, motivations of characters are very reasonable.
