The thing is: this game didn't have to be bad - in fact I actually found it to be quite good up until Episode 14. Yes, it can be a little bit grindy, especially in the beginning (this is what most negative reviews criticize), but in later stages of the game the grind becomes far more manageble, at least in my opinion. I wasn't bothered by it.Only back in this thread because a post from almost a year ago got a like. I FF'd to the end of the thread to see if anything changed in almost a year and I read this. All I can say is why torture yourself? Read the thread and the reviews, the hate for this game is well earned. If youre into slow corruption and sexy models their is literally every other game in this genre which does this better.
What bothered me all the more is the fact that the final twist destroyed everything the previous Episodes had been building up. Instead of leaving satisfied and with a pleasant feeling, the feeling that lingers after finishing the game is that of severe disappointment, of an opportunity that has been missed.
Imagine watching Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, then, shortly before finishing, he takes a fucking sledgehammer and smashes the whole thing to pieces.
That's what Celavie did with his game. It's just such a waste for everybody. For us corruption perverts, because now we have one less game to fap to. And also for Celavie, because taking the corruption out of a corruption game will cost him many potential patrons, and therefore money.
And that's why I came here, to share my thoughts on this in the hopes that he will not repeat this mistake with his new game. Developing games is a learning process, and without feedback, there can't be any improvement.
