Introduction
this game is a NTR corruption carnival/scene-collector sandbox RPG, don't play it if you dont like the genre. this game has a lot of positives but some flat glaring negatives that push it down to 3.5/5 for me, so rounded up to a 4/5
Game Description
you play as a dude who i forgot the name of who is studying abroad. he's in one of those situations where a family is allowing him to live in their household while he does his studies. the family has a cheating/lustful mother named Rin, a perverted daughter named Eris and a father who is always out on business trips (and there's also this guy called Kenta who is living with them/you? not sure what his affiliation is). then another foreign student turns up named Rei and she is a childhood friend of yours but you don't realise it yet (you realise it until later). with all the aforementioned women i just mentioned, plus a whole catalogue of other women in the game world, you live out your study life with them and get romanced then (most likely) NTR'd
Things I Liked:
- amount of NTRable/romanceable female characters. there's really quite a lot.. i dont do it justice when i say there's a catalogue of them there's more like an entire buffet of them. none of them reuse art and they're all different. you have the 3 women i mentioned in the game description, then there's 2 gigasluts in your school named Melody and Ophelia, as well as a girl who has a crush on you named Alice, a gym nut girl named Anna, followed by several female teachers as well as miscellaneous ones like Diana and Emily (miscellaneous as in unrelated to your schooling). Eva and Lily too but they're just prostitutes. also, there's nearly the same amount of male antagonists that can steal them from you, and they're all unique just like the wide range of female characters (Kenta - fat/greasy nerd, Vick - pseudo playboy, Ito - P.E. teacher, Hinata - school principal, ??? (no better name for him ) - black guy who has crime affiliation and is a clubber)
- events/happenings in the game world. i like the concept of choosing to do a certain something (or not choosing to do a certain something) and then that impacting your relationship with a particular girl, specifically in this NTR corruption genre. taking P.E. class as an example, there's a lot of choices to make and how that will impact taking P.E. class. if you choose not to improve your energy you fail the energy check and cant partake in P.E. class. once you have enough energy, if you choose to partner with Rei or Anna, then the possible partner you didn't pick gets NTR'd by your teacher. but if you choose to increase love with Anna then Anna stands up to Ito, and then if you follow this route long enough, you can choose to see how Anna or Rei get NTR'd or look at Ito's computer. stuff like this is really common and its pretty cool
- game world. it's pretty big and interesting. i honestly thought a lot of the game world was creatively designed. never really seen so many NPCs wandering about or making massive lineups and the attention to detail is clever. for example with Lily, all the developer had to do was put her outside the apartment building and then you hook up with her. but instead they made an apartment complex built into the game world and a room just for your interaction with her
- porn scenes. its a first for me because ive never been hugely into these goofy 3D model scenes, i moreso appreciate 2D animated/illustrated scenes with some kind of artstyle. however i actually did like them despite my preference, i found them to be hot and fappable but they can appear short so don't rely on the dialogue just hide the textbox and look at the scene to enjoy it
- hints. the game tells you how to progress your love with a girl and how to progress a girl's love with another guy (NTR). i think this is deserves praise because a lot of bad games have you running around in the game world looking for shit that doesn't exist or isnt in the right spot. this game has you covered for that
- good execution of the NTR/corruption genre. you can tell the developer knows how to execute the genre just with the writing alone. the pacing is slowly progressed and most of the NTR is logical as opposed to stupid
- no lame RPGM combat. yay
Things I Disliked:
- gameplay loop. the absolute worst part of this game is the gameplay loop. because of the way its designed you're going to be playing this game way fucking longer than you should be, i know i did. it takes FOREVER to finish a route with just ONE of the girls. the reason for this is because you only really make progress on a week to week basis, and for 95% of the girls you can only progress their love and corruption for other guys by 1 each week. the max for both of these fields is 9, so 9 in game weeks until you finish a route. further, the way you actually progress is repetitive AF. often times you just do the same event over and over again on a week to week basis till number go up. and if you make a mistake or do something by accident and don't properly progress it, you need to wait another in game week before you get to that window again. it annoyed me a lot and i think to any normal person it will annoy them too. though getting to what i thought was the end of a route felt really satisfying for this reason
- reading the walkthrough is mandatory. despite it being slightly dated, its a must. that schedule near the bottom of the walkthrough was almost the only reason i was able to progress at all. because alot of opportunities and even scenes can be missed without it. the walkthrough also does a better job at explaining the stats than the game ever did. you might invest in the wrong stats and completely fuck up your progress and you didnt realise it until its too late (if you didn't read the walkthrough). i think this is bad, the game shouldn't need one to be enjoyable or playable
- immersion breaks/weird stuff. the game does stupid things sometimes and a lot of them are avoidable or easily fixed if the developer just decided to do a certain thing differently. i'll give an example: when Rin is in the shower if you don't have her love high enough she will reject your advances. but at some point she embraces you if you got high enough love since she's lonely and lustful. once you do that, Kenta will then seduce Rin in place of you. this will lower her love for you and then you will eventually get back to the point where she rejects you. that would be fine if the reason you got rejected was because she's with Kenta now. instead, the reason you get rejected is nothing more than you not having high enough love. that breaks the immersion of getting NTR'd since the game doesn't acknowledge Kenta's role in this, he's just absent from the equation. another example is literally nothing happens to your relationship with Rei when other dudes get in her pants. her mannerisms towards you don't change and nothing feels different. there's more examples like this and it just doesn't make sense
- no story and no minigames. whatever story there is it was either too bad for me to notice or just not there in the first place. and the review 2 down from mine says there's a minigame for being a bartender but i never tried being a bartender and he also said that minigame was terrible sooo yeah
- paywalled scenes. a very small portion of scenes are paywalled behind the patreon subscribers version of this game. i didnt know that and only finding out about this during my playthrough was annoying
- a bit buggy. rarely sometimes fast travel fucks up, like it wont work or just needs to be cancelled to work or something. rarely some scene can softlock your game, it happened to me with Emily NTR when she was serving the black guy. and i dont even know if this is a bug or not but every time your character says hes gonna take a photo (like with Hinata and Ophelia, or with Kenta and Eva, or any other situation) and you click your phone gallery expecting to see those pictures, nothing happens. there's more bugs, and they make the quality of the game go down
Conclusion
honestly this game has such good potential and alot going for it but those negatives i outlined really stood out to me. i still think it's good hence the 3.5 -> rounded to 4 star rating. i just want a better gameplay loop, less reliance on a walkthrough, more story/minigames, less immersion breaks and bug fixes
