First of all, I'm sorry about my English

It was the first adult game I've ever played in my life. Although the game had some shortcomings, it impressed me and encouraged me to play other adult games.That's why I gave you 4 stars. (I'm not sure it deserve it.)

Renders are pretty good. The sex scenes are pretty good and too much. The characters ' bodies are unrealistic. But it's not very disturbing. (You probably won't be bothered if you're not obsessed with that sort of thing.)
The number of girls who can have sex is quite large, that's a plus.But at the end of the story, not being able to have sex with some of them (E.g. Nurse) again, that's a minus. It also proves the story's lack of finality. Because when MC wants to have sex with the nurse again, the nurse tells MC that he needs to get better first. And when it's all over and MC gets better, he can't have sex with the nurse. Although lesbian cosplay girl and lesbian trainer have previously had sex with MC under the influence of drugs, at the end of the game, MC is unable to convince them to have sex. It's also hard to advance the story, and the choices are a little complicated. Despite the cons, the fact that the sex scenes and the number of girls in the game are large makes the game worth playing for me.

By the way, I have hope for this developer. I'm sure he will develop better games in the future.

This game is just awful.

It's almost unplayable without using the cheat engine. This game is unnecessarily grindy. The mini-games are terrible. The UI is terrible. Don't even get me started on the story. The MC has a rare dick disease that's going to kill him unless he collects the vaginal bacteria from 10 girls. Seriously? All-in-all just a really bad game.

Total masterpiece respect on what I see around in this 2020.

I think it has been by far my worst experience with a Ren'Py game. Characters are grotesquely disproportionate, but that's quite common. Minigames are just obnoxious and they can get insanely difficult. The only options is to just skip them, but what's left is a storyless boring repetitive game. It's buggy in a dramatic way. Maybe the bug fix solves this but didn't feel even compelled to try it. Randomly, every now and then, it goes Game Over. Roommate suddenly has 3 black hearts, she accuses you of stuff you didn't do in the playtrough and she kicks you out. Cool.

Full marks for writing, renders, models & in game cheat mode.
Where this games tanks is:
Mechanics:
1) So easy to screw up, yet rollback is not an option.
2) Save/load times are excessively long for a Renpy game
3) no way to fast forward the sex scenes aside from the ffw button. I don't need to take that many pisses to just let them play out.

Linear and I mean LINEAR story in the guise of sandbox.:
1) Scene breaking shit all over the place. EX: Can't get screwdriver cuz I didn't have a conversation no longer available

Cheap gimmicks to foster "replay-ability". I got OCD when it comes to games, I can't play Assasin's Creed anymore cuz I'm one of those 100% completionists. I spent half of my game time looking for flags & shit & the plot just can't hold up to the tedium of that. This game reminds me of that.

If you just wanna casually blow through this game, I dunno if that's even possible. The fact that the save/load system is so god-awful slow makes having to check the walkthru for just about anything a necessity since you can't rollback (even after enabling console I dunno where to edit aside from console.rpy & don't know how to edit the dev's overide).

Nit-picky games like this have me frothing at the mouth. I would give it negative stars for that alone. It's still a game I WANT to play, it's just a shit show of finding out why you CAN'T do something, finding out that was a decision 20 saves ago, & just starting a new fucking game & letting the ctrl key do the rest.

I thought My Cute "Cousin" was an interesting idea. You're on your way to college so you move in with your cousin whom you haven't seen in years that was fat and used to bully you. I thought it would be interesting to see how that would develop.

Before too long you discover you have a genetic condition that's only cure is you have to fuck 9 different girls. And you have to do this to cure yourself before you can receive a medical certificate you need in order to enroll into college. This plot comes out of nowhere and didn't really endure the game to me. I wish they had just stuck to the relationship between you and the cousin and the angst between you.

The woman all have the same body type. Wide hips, small waists, huge tits. This type of body doesn't appeal to me. Especially when it's every girl. Only one girl had a more realistic body.

The game is sandbox. You have to earn money, monitor your hygiene and tiredness. You have to work on your intellect, strength, vitality. This game does get praise for having built in cheats so you can skip the grind if you want to.

I didn't finish the game. I hate not finishing games, but some of the quests are very vague on how you are supposed to accomplish them. So I would be trying to figure out how to do some things (I prefer to not have to go to a walkthrough) and end up getting bored with it.

I can see why this would appeal to some people. But the "you need to fuck everybody to not die" disease kind of ruined it for me. Not overly a bad game. I just got bored with it.

I dont know about everyone..But i personally liked the game a lot. Art style is good, scenes were not upto the mark but you know its fine... .. Story is good enough considering its a harem game after all

Boring and grindy.I really dont know what the nsfw game developers thinking this game has sex scenes but tge are boring too.I think its too big request to create a normal game where you can fuck and its dont get boring in the first 10 minutes.

Im choosing 4, but lets call it 3.5 stars.

First, its obvious the author is not an English as a first language person. But, with that being said a decent job was done 65% of the story of making it make sense and sound "OK" in English. On the last 25% it feels like the author used google translate instead of an actual English speaking person to translate. Some of the stuff was just bad. But, it didnt kill the story.

I very rarely judge the models/graphics in my reviews which is what accounts for the 3.5/4 stars. Most of the faces looked distorted because they tried so hard to make extreme lip/eye/cheeks. It was hard to look at sometimes, to the point where I actually stopped looking at them half the time. But this was also because of some of the insane body shapes that took away from realism. When a manga girl can appear more realistic than a CG girl, you know you are doing something wrong.

Now, aside from that, the story was actually pretty decent. It wasnt award winning, and sometimes I got stuck in odd areas because I could not figure out what to do (lots and lots of searching this thread for answers, which I took a star off for, even with me using the walkthrough).

Also, the ending was not great, but having finished "Babysitter" right after this one, I can say the ending here was FAR superior, so I wont even talk much shit about that.

Nice renders and animations , but heres the salt, fucking hells, its not nice grinding for shit and then lose hours of prog just beacuse theres no auto save.And that Grind was all while cheating,I cannot IMAGINE how its gon be without cheats.Geez

I like it, though it's definitely best if you actually use the cheat option cause the grinding needed is just waaaay too much.

Also, that memory minigame is just bonkers, and you can't skip it like the rest of the rapid click minigames. Idk who would spend so much time on getting it right at least 20 times lol.

Game had strong reviews for awhile and I always had it on my list to give it a try once I finished some of the other games. Quick summary, if you're here to fap to the cousin get ready to GRIND even with "Cheats".

CONS
You get beat up 2 times; one by "Roomate's" fake boyfriend as a forced nonsensical plot device. You have to watch the same boyfriend aptly named "Dick" bang a hot chick (Borderline cucking because you never get him back) while you record it so yeah there's the bad kind of NTR. NTR forced into the "plot" which is honestly one of the worst plots I've ever dealt with. Lots of lagging so if you have a cheap porn laptop or PC good luck. Very little continuity. Repeat events make it seem like characters are just NPCs. MC is a Cuck and a Rapist even if you're into that sort of kink its absolutely ridiculous how its done. You literally bang the girl and she magically forgets with no penalty to the MC whatsoever for her being naked with your jizz all over her. You drug the Roommate and rape her in her sleep whether you want to or not because of PLOT. You never take her out to dinner or romance her. Roommate gives you a hand job, blows you in your sleep and you still cant sleep in her bed let alone bang her until much further in the game where she randomly turns into a slut doing threesomes with women who are "lesbians".

PROS
The only good things about this game are the renders. 3 of the girls in particular are fantastic. Roommate, The Secretary, and Barbara. The Hscenes with the cheezy cum meter are at least unique. The shower and arousal Icons are unique as well though poorly implemented. The MC is hung like a horse which for me is always a must in any decent porn game.

This game is not a quick Fap because of the terrible mechanics and grinding but I must admit its at least a decent fap. I give it a 1.5.

Wonderful game, perhaps a little underestimated, but instead I must say very nice and interesting. The story is nice, the graphics are great and full of alternative views. The audio is ok. Unfortunately the various guides help you but not completely, I was stuck for a while but in the end I solved it. It seems that there is only one ending and for the video gallery you have to use the cheats. Overall a great game and deserves to be among the best 15 games.

"My Cute Roommate" was a gaming experience that I regretfully invested my time in. From the moment I started playing, it became painfully apparent that this title fell far short of my expectations, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed.

The game touts itself as a sandbox experience, promising the freedom to explore and create. However, this potential was squandered as I found myself trapped in a mind-numbing grind to progress through a shallow, disjointed narrative. Rather than offering genuine choices or meaningful interactions, the game felt more like a tedious checklist of tasks.

The writing was a significant letdown. It suffered from the common issue of a Russian-to-English translation, resulting in dialogue that was not only minimalist but also lacked depth and nuance. It felt as though the characters were mere shells, devoid of personality or authenticity, making it impossible for me to connect with them on any emotional level.

Perhaps the most glaring issue was the character design. Nearly all of the female characters were mere carbon copies of the protagonist's roommate, with slight variations in hairstyles and breast sizes. This lack of diversity in character design left me feeling detached from the game world, as it failed to offer any meaningful distinction or uniqueness among the characters.

Navigating the game was a frustrating ordeal. Critical events were often hidden behind obscure triggers, making them frustratingly easy to miss. The consequences of these misses were substantial, often leading to game-overs or locking me out of content that I could not revisit without replaying the entire game. This design choice added an unnecessary layer of annoyance and inconvenience to an already lackluster experience.

Technical issues further marred the game. It frequently suffered from lag during animations and saving/loading, disrupting the gameplay flow and causing additional frustration. It felt like the game was constantly working against my efforts to enjoy it.

In the end, my time with "My Cute Roommate" was a disappointment I wouldn't wish upon anyone else. The effort and time required to overcome its numerous flaws far outweighed any potential enjoyment it might have offered. Instead of a well-crafted gaming experience, it came across more as a developer's rough experiment or a testing ground for future projects. I can't, in good conscience, recommend this game to anyone unless substantial improvements are made. It simply isn't worth the investment of your time and patience.

I don't really want to give 5 stars but I feel like 3.5 stars is too low so I'm trying to raise the average, I feel like it's a 4 star game for sure. You might need a guide to get stuff done as there are some missable stuff, but the renders are 5 stars for sure and the animation are about average.

First of all i want to say that its great that someone goes though the effort to create a game such as this and that deserves some respect!

Now to the rating:
I would advise aginst playing this game!
The main Strenght of this game are renders are the nice renders (thats the reason for 2 stars)
the gameplay/ interface is gruesome!! The player does not get a decent introduction to the game goals and mechanics! The interfaces are all very slow to react -.- and not user friendly .... they vanish when using or pop up in unwnated circumstances.
Teh story design is also quite poor-.-^even though the idea behind the game is rather standard it is an absolute no go That one has to guess around in order to meet essential characters and that those events are not hinted at AND can not be repated if missed... that is a fatal design flaw!

This game is way to time consuming due to desing flaws ... such as no overview over possible locations or hints. a sanbox design has great potential but only if the user is slowly introduced to it and has a good over view of important stats and possible events!

the game has great porn potential but tbh.... u really have to consider wherther the struggle through the gruesome system is worth it.

For a finished version the game still ahs a lot to imporve on.

I'll barely round up to 3 because I like the renders but this game has always had issues with the mess of things you need to help complete it, from walkthroughs to mods to bug fixes, even in it's final form it's confusing.
It's not a bad game and if you haven't and you like the CG give it a go but know there's grind and the game ended development with some issues still being patched over.

This game needs an NTR tag. It's unavoidable NTR so if that's not your cup of tea, like it isn't mine, stay away. This game is divided into 2 halves and the NTR happens in the end of the first half and in the 2nd half. Had I known this, I wouldn't have played it.

The first half of this game is purely Russian Grind. Come to think of it, this site should invent a Russian Grind tag as well. This part of the game is nonstop raising 3 stats to max and getting money, but you can only raise 1 stat per day or make money once or twice because your character becomes tired after almost every action. To increase your stats or get money, you have to play minigames like mashing the space button, a matching memory game, and a click things in a certain order within the time limit game. These games take too damn long and are even, in some cases, really hard, especially if you're trying to do them when your character is tired, which'll lead you to fail most of the time. There is a cheats menu, and if you do want to play this garbage game, please use it, or else you'll be playing it forever. In the cheats menu, there is a button that lets you skip minigames, but it only works for some of them and only when you're not tired, which is just stupid. Plus this is made in Renpy, but it feels like it shouldn't have been. The game itself is super sluggish, as saving and loading take longer than in other games, and there's no autosave or quicksave. Also, the Renpy rollback feature only works sometimes. All of these design choices for the gameplay feel like they're intended to punish the player. Aren't games supposed to be fun?

The story is almost nonexistent except that you moved in with your roommate/cousin and you have to fuck 9 girls because you have a disease or you'll die (there's no actual time limit) and you are trying to get into a college. In order to accomplish this, you gotta get the girls to like you right? So you have to grind money and buy them things to increase their affection toward you, so that they're willing to go further with you in bed. However, the protagonist ends up drugging and/or raping half of them anyway, so what was the fucking point of the grind? Most of the tasks are cryptic as hell too so I had to use a walkthrough to play this game. Everything also has to be done in a certain order or else you won't be able to progress. It's hard to figure out even with the walkthroughs on here.

All of the girls look weird, especially their faces, and their bodies look surgical and gross, except for Anna. Also, none of them have any personality whatsoever. They're all just there for photoshoots and fucking. The only good part about this game is the animations, and there's quite a lot of them. Even your roommate/cousin, who I'm assuming is supposed to be the main love interest, doesn't have any redeeming qualities. There's no affection shown between you two and yet she claims you two are together and if you fuck her boss, you're cheating on her. More on this later. Anyway, after you fuck everyone and get into college, the 2nd half of the game starts and everyone comes after your girls. Other women come after your roommate/cousin and you can't stop them, so you end up joining them. Remember when she said that if you fucked someone else, it'd be cheating and she'd be upset? Yet you and her are now both okay with her fucking others. Also, a little kid fucks the dean of your college, who, after many ups and downs, finally likes you and fucks you willingly, and you can't stop him so you end up joining him. Then the main antagonist of the game randomly fucks a girl who claims to be a lesbian, but she also likes your dick so she's questioning if she really is a lesbian, but still claims she's a lesbian, and you can't stop him, so you end up watching it. And then the "ending" is a nonsensical cliffhanger on top of all of this.

This game fucking sucks. I implore you to stay away. There are many better games out there.
