I kind of get it though. When I'm writing, I have to put myself in that character's headspace. So they become my favorite at least temporarily. If you put all my characters in the same room, I tend to lean towards liking characters I created early on better but it's not a direct correlation. Sometimes I just really gel with a character versus another.
