Disappointing game overall. I've tried to enjoy it, but it's incredibly linear in many, many ways. The saddest part of all isn't the choices you make, it's that none of them matter. The devs have plans to REMOVE girls from the game, and use polls to do so
The story: doesn't matter. Genuinely. There are some basic differences in how the characters or even the MC react based on choices, but what does ANY of that matter if the grand scheme of the game can't be controlled, and characters you interact with can be removed without warning?
The girls: again, does is genuinely matter? I liked Sue. But the dev removed her. I also like both Eve and Hermi, in that they had interesting and very different character arcs, but one or both also run the risk of total removal from the game, so what does that matter? MC barely got to explore his past with his girlfriend Diana before she was cut from the game, too! Who next, the twins? The teacher? The exact same logic could be applied to literally any other LI. The graphics and art themselves are nothing special anyway, but what gives the characters their true strength is the storylines that accompany them, with the graphics being a bonus. In this instance, it fails on both counts
The scenes: they're fine. But again, knowing that the girls you're with can disappear at any minute sort of puts a damper on the entire experience of playing. You're hot and heavy with Sue one second, even getting a threesome with her, and that's the moment that the penny drops that she's being cut from the game. You're also reconnecting with your girlfriend after reawakening from a coma with amnesia, and then she moves away. I'm pretty sure Selena has been cut from the game, too. We haven't even really connected with Mia, meeting her ONCE, yet she's being cut. Any scenes we do get mean absolutely nothing
The Engrish: honestly? I was absolutely willing to turn a blind eye to this one as I started playing, BECAUSE I thought "the characters are pretty damn interesting!" But now that I see how disposable the LIs are, I'm gonna bring it up. The English in this game isn't great by any means!
You sense tension between the MC and his girlfriend? Doesn't matter, she's gone. You slept with her frenemy? Don't worry about a resolution to that story arc, she's gone, too. Trying slowly to build a relationship with your older sister who hates you, or the nurse who was with you when you woke up? I've got some news for you...they'll be gone very soon, so enjoy while you can! Don't worry, though. MILF #5 who was in the background of that one scene will come in as a full-fledged character. Until she gets voted out!
This game didn't need to be a harem game, although there were hints that certain girls were okay with sharing. It didn't even NEED to add any more characters to the game. What it could and SHOULD HAVE done is to make the most of the characters it had already introduced, because they were all already full of personality in their own ways. Everything else could've worked out had the dev just stuck with the characters they'd introduced rather than switching them out like disposable Bic razors
There could have been many, many ways to play through the game, leaving it up to the player to decide how to navigate, who to go after, or even to create multiple saves to see all the available content and pursue different LIs. But there's absolutely no point in making the effort because your favourite LI could very well be gone by the next update
As for the positives: any and all good things I had to say about this game evaporated the second I learned about the devs planning on ousting existing girls one by one and bringing in new ones on an endless loop
I absolutely cannot get behind this. It cheapens the gameplay, makes a mockery of players who were invested in the characters, and for that very reason, this game gets a one star rating
