VN - Others - Completed - My Girlfriend’s Special Place [Final] [feng]

This would be more of the same, if it wasn't for a twist, that takes form as a Dom/Sub element (light stuff, nothing crazy). Exclude that, and it's just another sweet story about young lovers, where the 18+ is competent, and the scenario can keep you entertained for a bit. It's not half-bad, if you take duration into account.

Positive:
- Lighthearted scenario (for the most part); Having some support cast, beats "1 sprite only VNs"; Lots of H-scenes, and they break the mold just enough (depends if you want them to); (Not) Real self and emotional fragility, are easy to understand motifs; They bothered with a couple of (relevant?) extra endings; Voice acting is OK (little sister needs work); Visually capable title, all things considered; OST is sizable; Technical side of things is sound.

Negative:
- Dumb premise, and a number of plot devices are best left ignored; "Inner turmoil" in a short VN with sexual content, is asking for trouble (NTR does it all the time, i suppose); Childhood friends and promises, need to take a long vacation, "the tsundere" can tag along as well.

Score: 6/10. Solid recommendation, if anything mentioned sounds interesting. This type of VN can be a breath of fresh air, every now and then. No expectations or hype, just something to distract you, and have a nice time. Give it a go, this is better than the "usual" short VN.

(Personally, the title with the little sister would be the real recommendation.)

Objectively? It's fine, art is good, plenty of sex scenes, voiceacting is fine, the engine has some good features like being able to jump back and having english and japanese text displayed side by side (if you want to). Only thing I miss is a master volume setting.

Personally though, I had to start skimming because this story really annoyed me. There's going to be spoilers, but to be frank, games like these you probably dont read for the epic twists, but because you want to read a cute romantic story. Which is what my complaint is about.

it's a good vn for what it does.

it knows that it is a short vn and it knows not to overstay its welcome. the h-scenes do vary quite a lot and at least one of them I actually find hilarious (in all things good). the latter scenes did felt like they were pushing it a bit but surprisingly not feeling out of place.

and I'm already expecting the 2nd game (imouto no seiiki) because goddamn that imouto is thirsty AF!
