This being the next Zetsubou game I've played/bought (previously it was Tomboys Need Love Too), this one is a bit longer than that one. It only has 3 endings and goes into more in depth, and slightly hints at some love triangle with the ex (Maia) who's in town with secrets and the best friend (Ava) who's there, while you yourself, Cassius (Cas), are an office worker who has to deal with a lot of recent changes since your ex left you for 3 years without a trace.
MHGF also throws into a bit of legal drama with sprinkles of crime and thriller, otherwise it is a romance first and foremost. Again like Tomboys, it lacks animation in sex(ual) scenes but the payoff is worth it. I'm speaking from a perspective that it draws you in and I would choose Ava. It makes sense for things to move on and let things change, as well as character/personality developments. But it's adorable and feels like a mature version since the characters are in their 20s along with the artstyle and music. It would have benefitted from more than just a few more side characters other than your coworker William, Mr Reed and the laywer (ngl she mad cute too imagine if you could romance her in a route), otherwise I'm still satisfied with what I'e got.
