VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - My Hot Legacy [v0.2.1] [Day Walker]

I'm not sure if I will be able to handle the update for this game,the English was very bad and I had a hard time following a lot of the story because of this fact!This needs to be re-written from scratch,gets someone who understands English better and maybe then this could have an interesting story and not whatever that was!My Hot Legacy was a bit of a My Hot Mess;and what about the scenes with Katie,one minute thy're walking into another room the next their naked and getting down and dirty. Nevermind story progression just throw in a sex scene to heat things up whether it makes any sense or not.So badly written scenes,it's just very lazy and unimaginative!

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.2...

The broken English in this visual novel/game is so extremely bad, and it's yet another over used Family Sex theme...

The visuals of the characters are crisp and clear, but the sisters look like they've had too much plastic surgery on their faces... Plus every character is a super model, with the exception of the protagonist... The backdrops look like a mix of unique, and ones I've seen before in other VN/Games... The choice selections are small, but easy to see, being bright green... The protagonist has a extremely oversized penis for his body frame...

The script is so horrible and hard to read, as it is so full of broken English and spelling/grammar errors... It makes this whole VN/Game sound like a drab and cliché story... The plot (what I could figure out) revolves around a male protagonist who's estranged father died and via his last will and testament, has allowed the protagonist to move into his family home... Which consists of his aunt (who I guess married his father, oops) and two half-sisters/cousins, which is different from what I've seen before... He appears to have the agenda of going after them either as revenge, or he's just a pervert, or both...

The problem with that plan, is that the game steers you in a very linear path by punishing certain choices... You get minuses to stats, that I guess are hidden away... Plus you get some warnings now and then, which I'm unsure how they play into this VN/Game, as it never tells you... There is a Point system as well, which I assume is either going towards relationships or maybe just an overall score, which I assume is how content will be gated in this game... There really needs to be a tutorial in the beginning to explain away all those numbers and warnings, otherwise how are you to know if they are truly bad or good?

From what I could gather, through the tirade of bad English, concerning the different character personalities... The two sisters are rich, stuck up, and don't really care much for the protagonist being around at all, especially the youngest... The aunt is a hard one to figure out, because she is nice most of the time towards the protagonist, but it's hard to know if it's the real deal or just a show, because she also seems to have that "i'm rich and it shows" mentality towards some things...

The biggest flaw I saw, beyond the text, was the scenes involving the sisters friend... It goes from initial introductions, to let me see your oversized penis, jumps to a quick visual of the friend returning to the pool, and then immediately into her coming to the protagonist at night and giving him a VERY QUICK BJ, then she leaves... It all happens so darn quick, I could swear she was the Flash's sister, slam bam thank you ma'am... That whole mess was not put together well at all... I could have microwaved a couple gummy bears into a pile of goo, in the time that whole sequence of erotic story play, took place...

Overall, the text in this game needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom, re-translated and re-interpreted... Even then, I'm not sure it would help the story out... I would have to play it again after it gets fixed to really nail down everything... But what I could figure out, just sounded like a rushed story leading towards a porn fest type game... The current content ends with all of them flying to a resort beach, far away... Which was very quickly forced onto them all by the Aunt in about a couple sentences of text over dinner... Leaving like almost immediately after dinner was done... Surprise...

Right now I'm not impressed with this VN/Game at all... The visuals may be mostly crisp and clear, but they are not this VN/Games saving grace right now... This is still in early production, but needs a lot of re-work before releasing more content... Will I revisit it? Maybe, but only if it gets a major revamp of the issues I already mentioned...
